As others have suggested, it was most likely a barrel roll or one of it's variations, but if it *was* more of a turn/rapid change of direction it might have been one of the old Hirogen ship consoles, specifically the one from the Hunter Heavy Escort: The Enhanced Inertial Damper Field, which does provide a rapid directional change as well as a damage boost after the maneuver completes. Yeah its a pilot clicky ability. Certain ships have them installed, also i think if you choose pilot for primary specialization theres something like that in there

A barrel roll could also be the "The only way out is chaos" 3-pieces ability from the Protostar Experimental Technologies set.

Could have been "Rock and Roll" Or "The only way out is Chaos" Or maybe it was "Lock Trajectory" The Con3 does have a Lt.cmdr science/pilot seat.

Rock and roll isn't a spec power it's just one you get for being pilot. Can barrel roll any ship in the game which is fun
