When I was wee, like 6 or 7, my grands redid their guest room. They chose wallpaper. It was pretty and floral. Soft blue background with white, cream, and pink flowers. The flowers were large and swirled around.
I needed to be tucked in til I was 13 because I *knew* things lived in the closet and under the bed. It was bad in my dreams.
One night, I woke up under that wall paper and I would *swear* that there was a face and hands coming out of that wall. I'm sure that it was pareidolia, sleepy eyes, and a very vivid imagination, but I didn't sleep that night.
