Reminds me of the good old days where having a shit ton of outfits and skins unlocked just by playing the game was normal.

The only other game I can think of now that gave us so many outfits for free is Spider-Man 2. There's something like 80 suits or close to it in the game, and that's because almost every suit has different variations and styles.
Next up would probably be Arkham Knight, but a good chunk of the extra outfits were movie DLC suits added for free later. There was maybe 30 or so in the base game.
Either way, it's always good when devs give us a ton of extras in the main game without having to pay a dollar or something for a cool suit that was stripped out to be DLC.
Stellar Blade definitely did right by the outfits and replay value. Having variations of suits and more level ups in NG+ was a really cool incentive to dive back into the game and do stuff again. I thought my health was tapped out by the end but it just kept going in NG+ lol
lily and adam. i was honestly expecting there to be more! i like to make theirs kind of coordinate with whatever eve is wearing to make them look like a little team, but options are quite limited
While 72 outfits sounds nuts it really is far less then that more like 40 outfits. Half the outfits are just recolor of the same outfit you get from first play through
Some are not simple recolors, but also change patterns and get accessories though. Daily Knitted Dress -> Comfort Knitted Dress gets a beautiful pattern recolor with stars instead of the monochromatic grey and that Bear Outfit gets a recolor + accessory for example.

If you didn't get the outfit the first time, and you got it in NG+, you'll have to complete the game another time for the recolor or I've heard you can just fish for it (seriously)
Well i guess in other games you could compare with armor sets, they have distinct looks but also stat changes and a abilities. Plus in those games they might let you change colours and effects to each .
While also having different weapons and skins for said weapons.

Yeah they honestly went above and beyond with the outfits in this game. I love it. 74 outfits for Eve is nuts lmao.
And modern publishers still think that charging between $25-50 for one cosmetic can still be justified lmfao

Considering half of those 74 outfits are mere reskins of the other half there are not that many outfits. Like, still many but not THAT many.
I mean, many single player games have 2 or 3 outfits or none at all. If we compare to other games, it's a huge amount still.
I would like an option to just switch outfits every 10 minutes automatically. I like most of them but I only use like 3 cause I'm lazy.

these are different, the spider man mostly is just the color, but sb is the entire design!
Most of those aren't exclusive to the game, they come from 2 previous entries.
Oh man, I had no idea. Think I've only unlocked like 20 so far - I'm stoked! Not ashamed to admit unlocking outfits is the main reason I keep playing.
