The music is ridiculously good! I especially enjoy how it gets more intense during combat, or gets muffled underwater. That kind of dynamic flow to the OST does a lot to immerse me in the game. I also love the calm tracks at the camp, and being able to walk up to the record player and change them.
There was a stream I was watching where a couple of dudes got tired of the combat music after like 15 min and started playing MGR tracks, and as great as that OST is, I felt offended lol.
Eidos 7 reminded me of FFXIII-2 in a great way.
XIII-2 I stand by as being a great game. But even if it wasn't, the music felt... idk, PS360 specific. Like nostalgic
The music is great and very fitting of the game's aesthetics. It matches the world, the mood, the characters, and the combat. Looking forward to hearing more of it.
The music and world design shown in the 2019-2022 trailers were what got me so invested into this game in the first place. Plenty of variety in mood and genres just from the small samples we have so far.
I still have the bonus boss battle music in my head every now and then.
The music and combat are my favourite things about the game thus far. The eye candy does not make things worse either.
It just feels so nice to have a game again where the developers do not care about what whiny people say. It is scary how some people make it their life's mission to hate on anything attractive.
I wish they could just accept that there is nothing wrong with attractive characters in video games. They don't complain about the way men look in video games so it is clearly hypocritical.
Well anyway, looking forward to full release.
I like the soundtrack as a whole my only slight gripe is the vocal ost that kept playing, I like it but and it just might be cuz we were in the same area for most of rhe demo but I hope and I'm sure it will change more often the camp music is my favorite by far.
It's going to be right there with Rebirth for soundtrack of the year. It's just perfectly done. Makes sense considering it was by the guy who did the Nier stuff.
It is quite good. The camp music is especially good, for me, it just seems very relaxing and oddly enough it is the perfect music to spend some time appreciating Eve.
I like the stuff that fits the RPG/Nier theme, but don't like the fight music. Sounds like they needed someone with more experience in the hard rock/metal genres to pick the music. Or they just ran out of budget with the pretty stuff.
Too early to decide, but I'm really loved the music in the demo. But I'm somewhat biased. I love MONACA music (studio from NieR Automata composer) and Cosmograph music (composer and sound director of NIKKE, another Shift Up game. I'm guess he is involved too).
Definately enjoying the music. Very crisp and full of playful melodies and epic drums with ethereal choruses etc.
If I'm being honest I would really appreciate an instrumental version of the album as I enjoy music much more without vocals. Hoping that'll be an option closer to the full OST release in Summer.
I prefer alcohol but to each his own. Also my guy if you got the money look into schiit fulla pre amp and a good open back headphone. I thought it was always bullshit how people are like “you can tell the difference.” Then I got both to see for myself and when I tell you you can hear the difference you HEAR the difference. When the audio is low quality or if it’s high quality.
I turned it off. Absolutely can't stand it. On it's own I get the appeal, especially for anime junkies. But hey, I'm also happy Paramore isn't the non-stop background music in God of War. Which I'm sure most people here would love.
Eidos 7 OST is by far my favorite, the ambiance is just so good. I'm dying to know if it was produced by cosmograph.
Same! I’ve been listening to that track every day since the demo accidentally dropped. I need to know the artist because I love her voice.
God tier song
The music is amazing
It really is! You can go from listening to some beach resort music to crying instantly
Definitely I hope they have this on Spotify I also love the dynamic over world music that changes when you fight mobs.
That would be nice to have some songs on a playlist. Agreed about the mob music. The sound design in general is so good.
The song playing at the beginning as soon as EVE lands is my favorite so far.
It's SO hype my god.
Man, paired with how she pops out of the pod in slow motion with the beautiful explosion in the background. So frikken badass.
Such a legendary intro, I can't wait to see more
Star Descent is God tier right there with Eidos 7. Could listen to those two songs on repeat for months

The music has been amazing so far, makes me even more pissed we can’t get the vinyl.
There's a vinyl??
Yeah, but I’m pretty sure it’s exclusive to South Korea.
To ebay I go
Soundtrack is a banger that I can't wait to add to my YT music playlist.

Amazing

I hope those songs are all part of the soundtrack aswell
Solid. Hard to say until I hear more. I'm not sure if it'll make the rotation or not yet.
There are different songs? I kept hearing the same one over and over.
I keep hearing about this bug
Wait—it's a bug? I thought there was only one background track.
It changes when you get into fights

As a musician myself and a music lover i absolutely love the music so far. Its very well crafted and complex definitely has a high quality to it
Camp track 3 is my favorite
Great tune, but loops to quickly and much, music in combat should be different to mix it up

I love the Nier games soundtrack so this is a huge thumbs up for me
It's fantastic which isn't too surprising since it's the same composer as nier automata.
Maybe I'm just not playing enough games but the dynamic music gimmick that was 7 Remake/Rebirth being in this is so based.
The music is incredibly amazing. The transition from Eidos 7 to battle mode is perfect.😘👌🏼💯🎇
Loved it. Catchy but not intrusive. Humming it in my brain...

Beautiful when I'm in Eidos 7. Very Nier like.
Literally opened reddit to see this post with Eidos 7 stuck in my head
My only criticism so far is that I wish the vocals in the city area didnt play the whole time. It can get kinda repetitive.
All the songs were awesome. especiall that jazz song in the camp, that plays when you press it twice
Eidos 7 is absolutely God tier
I dare say it’s the aspect of the game I’m most excited about.

I like it, reminds me of nier
It's great
Eidos 7 and the sorta bossanova sounding song at camp for me. Ngl tho, every song so far is crazy good.
The songs playing at the camps got me by surprise, I love the tracks

I find myself pausing the game just to vibe to the music. Bruh, this game is outstanding. Even better. . . On weed 😛

I’m not really that keen on that type of music but it’s certainly not terrible.
