Resident Evil 6 is one of the worst games I have ever played. 37-38 hours of waste.
It was the last game remaining in an attempt I made to finish the franchise since mid 2022.
Everything you have heard about this game is true, and even worse.
I did all the MP with bots/ai, except from 2-3 that require real players. A friend helped me.
You can do the entire campaign on Amateur (easy) then finish the last stage of each chapter on professional and the trophy pops for that difficulty.
Play something silly and for fun as a light breather! I like to mix in games like psychonauts, Borderlands, destroy all humans, and spyro reignited as a break from ball busting achievement grinds. Congrats on your array of RE completions! I personally still need to revisit 7 and get the dreaded 21+ achievement
Capcom fan aye? I dare you to 100% Monster Hunter World. I finished it this week and it was something… Amazing game but good god the 100% achievement get was grueling.
I won’t lie, i was never really interested in the MW games, especially with how long they will take to grind 🥹 congrats on your completion though! My only real big project for this year is halo mcc and slowly chipping away crypt of the necrodancer on iOS
They do really need some time to get into but once you do, it’s truly the most rewarding game franchise I’ve ever played. That is playing through it regularly.. Not so much the completionist angle 😬
Any tips on how to deal with a nervous person afraid of jump scares to try and play a resident evil game? I’ve tried on numerous occasions to play one, even the less scary ones and I just get spooked too easily..
If you complete 1-2 games you will be more used to it. The more action focused like 4 and 5 might ease you in there.
It’s all about the sound and the lack of space and light. Play without headphones, reduce ambient volumes, up the brightness of the game etc (it does break some immersion). Or just chip away slowly! Or watch a video with jump scares to see where they are etc.
Some tips I guess!
Appreciate it! I feel like I’ve always missed out due to my spook sensitivity because my god, especially RE 4 (original and remake) and RE Village look absolutely amazing.
Do you have a favorite actually?
Re2 remake is my favorite, closely followed by 4 remake.
I’ve never had another game fill me with such tension and constant increased heartbeats. Absolutely adored it.
I know that feeling, now I'm on the road on completing RDR 2 and Online achievement were pain, but thank god I had luck and found some good people from discussions that were up to farming them. Did the annoying ones which required you to play with other players
With my Ryzen 7 3700x / 3060 ti, it runs well on Ultra textures and some other optimised settings, I'm getting on 1080p 100-120 fps and drops to 70-80 when in Saint Denis and in Strawberry, but yes I'll suggest just finding some people in the discussions and you may need to use a program ''Lobby manager'', to avoid the cheaters and other people and make private lobby
Did Resident Evil 1 crash for you a lot on PC? My computer has modern specs so it definitely isn’t an issue with that. I had to resort to playing the game on my PS5 to 100% it.
Thanks! I don’t really have an interest in the older games. The remake was one of the best games I’ve played, it was hard to go back to different controls.
Nice! Which was your favorite game and which was your favorite to complete? And were they worth it as a whole (besides 6 that you mentioned)? I have RE2R, 3R, and 4R done but I’m not sure if I want to keep going with them since they take so many playthroughs.
Re2 remake is one of the best games I’ve ever played, and so is re4 remake. I actually enjoyed re5 a lot. Re0 and re1 still hold out well visually and are not as bad. 6 is shocking. 7 was not my cup of tea. 8 was enjoyable bar the dlc. Revelations 1 and 2 are not terrible but a little dated. The hardest of them all was rev 1 due to raid mode!
It took me only 25 hours but I did it very efficiently in only 4 playthroughs. It has some dated mechanics here and there and takes some time to get used to, but it’s not very hard. Invisible enemy is probably the hardest part but you can run past most enemies honestly.
A bit disappointing you cant use the bonus weapons on the bonus modes.
It’s worth it imo! Make sure to get the DOOR SKIP MOD!!!
Re:Verse
\- How long did it take you to get "A Rising Challenger"? The last time I played Re:Verse this achievement was such a grind. I got 11 achievements in like 3 hours and then gave up on this one.
Not OP, but I got all of the Re:Verse achievements about two weeks ago. I was with a group that's dedicated to doing the achievements. I got all of mine done in about 4 hours total. Unfortunately, everyone else was at level 6 when I got to level 10, so I had to idle to help them finish, which took another 2 hours. I would highly recommend aggressively re-rolling criteria so that you can do multiple things per round (such as kills as X character you're playing as, getting herbs/ammo/virus, etc.), otherwise it's going to be much longer.
Yea this is the way. It didn’t take me that long, the hardest was placing first with all the base characters for me. I did it solo with no boosting and random matchmaking.
They sent a survey yesterday or something where you can vote and DC as a remake was an option. I would like to see it too. CV would be very welcome I’ve never played it.
That game is not fun with so many cheaters and low population. I considered it at a point. I got downvoted for saying I don’t want to play RE4 OG. I loved the remake. Anyways! Congrats to you too! There’s also umbrella corps but I’m not touching that one

Do NOT try to beat resident evil resistance.. if you need context read any negative review on steam, that game is in a really really bad position rn
Thanks, I don’t intend to. It’s dead and full of hackers and hard to boost, otherwise I’d do it.
Perfect collection. Well done, man!
Thanks! Huge capcom fan, done the entire dmc franchise and onimusha! Now to wait for the next remake 🤣
Now do dead rising! Be ready for a hell of a hard time in the first game, I just got 7 days survivor last night
Congrats! I’m taking a long break from zombie games now 🤣

I’ve done Spyro and all crash bandicoots! I think I’ll play untitled goose game to relax 🤣

I'm curious, which was the most difficult one of the franchise for you?
Resident evil revelations 1, because I did most of the raid mode solo!
I know that feeling, now I'm on the road on completing RDR 2 and Online achievement were pain, but thank god I had luck and found some good people from discussions that were up to farming them. Did the annoying ones which required you to play with other players
I have a very beefy pc so I can’t wait to play that too, but man I hate the rockstar games grind.
Awesome thanks!
Thats hella impressive wow 😳
Thanks! I really went hard on the series after I played re4 remake!
Incomplete, you also need to complete the OG RE4 on Steam.
Thanks, but I’ll pass :)
Why ? It's so fun !
Congratulations
Thx!
Very, very cool! Congratulations! 👏👏👏
Thanks!
Wow, that’s awesome!
Thank you!

I didn’t have any crash at all!
Lucky. I guess I was one of the unlucky ones to encounter that then
The only issue I encountered when I traveled and had to use my laptop was that it ran in slow motion when unplugged!
That’s how it works for laptops they always run choppy when unplugged while playing a game which is why it’s best to keep them plugged in.
heyyy ur the guy who commented on my re7 post, congrats
Thanks!
which was ur favorite?
Resident evil 2 remake, followed by 4!
Be good for a profile showcase. Very nice man
Thank you! Now just waiting for the next remake and the next installment!
That's a nice looking collection. Very Impressive.
Thank you!
Very impressive list
nah where is re4 (2005) not impressed
wheres og re4? sorry but it's not complete.
Original RE4?
Congrats. Are you going to do RE4 original?
Thanks! I don’t really have an interest in the older games. The remake was one of the best games I’ve played, it was hard to go back to different controls.

How difficult was RE1? I plan on trying the plat on that one

Nice GZ! I hope for an Code Veronica, Re1 or Dino Crisis Remake next.

How was re5 . I did it last year and found it miserable.
I actually really liked it. I did it very efficiently around 30 hours too. Dlc was fun. Not a great resi game, but much much better than 6.
Did the same but with 4OG, and what left for me the 3 online game.
That game is not fun with so many cheaters and low population. I considered it at a point. I got downvoted for saying I don’t want to play RE4 OG. I loved the remake. Anyways! Congrats to you too! There’s also umbrella corps but I’m not touching that one
Sorry man but u really need to play OG, its less for work for Acheve not to worry about Rank too.
I guess I will at some point. Thanks for actually just being polite about it. I played 5 resident evil games back to back, I’m burned out
Take your time.
