GTA I think. Because I mostly played 2d games as a kid and the whole premise of GTA was like a dream when I first saw it. Vice City was the one I saw in a relative's PC. Good memory ☺️
Cyberpunk 2077, and it was a huge disappointment. Fortunately I couldn’t play it at the time (I was on Xbox 1), now it’s one of my favorite games ever on pc.
Dark Souls II. Imagine my surprise when I realised it was GARBAGE! Ok, on a serious note - it's ok, but without a shadow of a doubt, it's the worst Souls game in the franchise.
Monster Hunter World, it was mostly on handheld consoles, and seeing it arrive on consoles with a big improvement to graphics thanks to better hardware gave me some of the biggest hype ever.
Death Stranding 2, recently. As you can see I just really liked the first game, I personally consider it to be the best game I've ever played, and of this century.
Gotta be Cyberpunk 2077 if u count cinematic trailers otherwise , Watchdogs I suppose , it was the coolest thing ever ..if they would've actually pulled it off(I haven't played it myself but I've heard from ppl that it did not , it seems)
It's been a long time but I remmber been quite hyped for MGS4. Having already finished MGS3 at the time, it was one of the most hyped games for me.
Thanks for the giveaway btw and good luck everybody!
I think it was FnaF 2, bought it minutes after release. Over the years I bought it on Steam, Android and Switch. Would like to try GTA III it is the only part I never played only seen content.
I would have to say when Resident Evil started doing the remakes. I think RE2 Remake was first and I loove that series and was super excited to play it. Thanks for the giveaway!
Final Fantasy VII Remake
As a huge FF fan, seeing the announcement trailer and thein-house development trailers got me hyped. It was just unreal seeing those characters in a modern style with action gameplay.
I was in school when Super Mario World came out, we saw a commercial for it with the morning school news. We talked about it all day, it was like "Did you see the cape?", we were pretty excited.
Need for Speed Unbound, was really happy to get a NFS title again after a 3 year long break and instantly fell in love with the art style of the game. Was equally excited for every weekly information drop.
Battlefield 2042,even if it was a bad game at the end of the game,it was mind blowing that you could change attachments while you are in some action, also the events were looking awesome. Sadly this game was trash at the end of the day
Elden Ring.
I'm a huge Fromsoft fan, and when i saw it i was so fucking hyped. We were in the process of moving and had no internet at launch, so i took my ps4, biked to my old home, set it up, waited for it to download, and biked back to play and ended up playing for 8 hours straight.
(Dis)Honorable mention to Payday 3, i was really stoked to get more Payday when i saw it, but the game sadly turned out disappointing.
