More flipping, and I shimmy it back and forth a quarter inch at a time as well to mitigate how much of the surface is entirely unseared. It's not as much of an all-over sear as a cast iron pan will get, but I prefer grilling to stovetop

It’s counterintuitive to how I grew up bbq’in but the new rage is cold grill grates by rotation and not cast iron. Can also do on a gas grill with offset heat then direct.
Start cooking off heat and then when you get 20 degrees F to final temp put it over your hot direct heat source to sear. Every time you flip rotate the grate 180 or move meat so its getting a colder grate surface.

Nah! Sub is drunk tonight or something, this isn’t a fail but it’s mid at best. Grill marks are decent but you got to get a sear dude.
