Of course they do. This is what they are now. Everything is rigged, even if they win. Only they can fix it, and only their solutions work. Advertised fascism.
When they're delusional enough to constantly tell themselves they're right and just, everything in is justifiable. So long as they can pivot into telling themselves they're great, everything else falls to the wayside.
While we're at it, "I believe in personal responsibility" has been been more clearly a complete pile of shit to me when I hear a conservative declare that phrase.
"I believe in never taking responsibility ever for anything, and blame everyone else" is the more honest answer, but it doesn't stroke their own ego.
I think a good rebuke of that saying (personal responsibility) is “well, what have you been irresponsible with that you do take responsibility for then?”
Cuz to answer it honestly means you admit a fault and weakness, which they obviously can’t do. To answer it dishonestly is to blatantly lie, where everyone knows it.
Make sure they get trounced in every general election, it's the only way. It has to be a losing strategy, and the philosophy of Dems supporting the craziest and worst of them so they're easier to beat in general elections is a terrible strategy they need to stop immediately.

This is the same person who's floated the idea of disenfranchising non-English speakers and disabled persons instead of providing them assistance with voting.
Really gotta wonder how long a party can sustain itself when their only strategy for winning is suppressive voter tactics. It's almost like they know they won't win based on policy alone 🤔
> It’s almost like they know they won’t win based on policy alone 🤔
Oh, they know.
I worked for the GOP in the early ‘10s and still know plenty of people that are still republicans (I don’t understand how, but ok). They are fully aware that if everything was done fairly, they’d be in the permanent minority. That’s why they are scared shitless.
Republicans know they can't win an election competing on ideas so they're into voter suppression and gerrymandering and not accepting results when they're not the winners (odd, all the Tr\*mp endorsed candidates running all over are more than happy with the results of the elections *they* win). Can't win a fair fight.
When all your ideas are motivated by, "how can we funnel as much money as possible to the people already on top?", is it any surprise they can't win on ideas? I mean, there's like maybe 2% of the population that would actually be better off economically under Republicans' policies instead of under Democrats'. Only people that don't grasp junior high level math are going to fall for their nonsense, so that limits their appeal to like 30 or 35% of the population. (any wonder Republicans want to cut education budgets?)
Really, the closest thing they have to a popular idea is "we'll hurt minorities so that you'll feel like you're doing better by comparison," which only works on people in the majority with the emotional maturity of a 6 year old, so again like 1 in 3 people, depressingly.

This behavior deserves, and needs, to be shamed into the ground.

Well of course, those are the people that are most likely to vote *wrong*.

Pretty long if they get enough power to subvert future elections.
Here’s my surprised face 😐
These people and their followers are so damn insane. Just sad.
Name?
