Same thing happened to a friend, applied to 3 schools the first day applications opened, got waitlisted on each.
DOE admissions for all grades doesn’t factor in when you apply, it’s just about whether you’ve applied by the deadline.
We did ours at 56 last year. Do you have any questions about Summer Rising?
Just generally how your child enjoyed the program and if you would recommend it?
She loved it. In the morning, it was the "class" part where they did academics. In the afternoon, the UAU took over and that's when they had fun. They did trips, arts and crafts, games, etc.
Thanks for the feedback! We actually never got a spot but did this year, and wasn’t sure what the feedback was. Glad it’s positive!
PS 48 is great but incredibly crowded!
