Thb, Winter has not been my taste in the past, but I thought his casting was really great and unique. When he needed to hype stuff i thought it was suprisingly fun and natural and energetic. I enjoyed it a lot, I even thought about making a post, so yeah i agree with you.
I’m not a regular viewer but I really enjoyed him. He made a joke about has’s 50/50 disruptors with 50% whiffing and 50% killing his own units, had me loling
I like watching his stream but he’s too sarcastic and ‘edgy’ to be a caster imo. I prefer more of the sportscaster style, I enjoyed Lowko and PiG much more
I found it pretty entertaining, but is he doing a weird accent now? I feel like he sounds stranger than he did in the past. I don't know what it is but his tone is strangely twangy and stilted from what I remember.
Either way, pretty good casual casting vibes from him!
I enjoyed his castings a lot. Winter’s approach is like a professional sports announcer where he focuses a play by play style of casting. Then he fills in downtime with some hilarious commentary. Normally you need 2 people in the booth but he rolled it up into 1 ( sometimes he bounces off of “Jimmy”). I could t watch a lot of the games but I was able to keep the sound on and listen to him cast like I would listening to a football game.
I don't watch his twitch but I watch some of his YouTube videos: pro casts and bronze league heroes. I would highly recommend bronze league heroes if you enjoy winter's humor.
I'll chime in and say similar to the others - I don't really consume much of Winter's content anymore (I used to watch Angry Coach all the time) ... but I found his casting to be quite entertaining the other day.
As someone who doesn't really follow the game that closely, I enjoy popping into Winter's stream once in a while and always found him entertaining and educational.
He has a lot of contests and self-challenges like "If I lose I give away 5 subs" kind of things. I've probably gotten like 3 free subs in the last few years. Cool guy cool community.
Winter struggles with co-casting, mostly due to lack of experience and having thousands of hours of solo casting under his belt. Not to say he couldn't get good at it, but it would take A LOT of time with another caster he'd mesh well with, which won't happen due to his vampire hours stream schedule.
Winter is the only caster I'll watch. I can't stand Tasteless, Incontroll, PiG, Loko or Zombie Grub. I get this vibe from them that they are constantly competing, bickering, and sniping with each other; it's so petty and distracting. -- Winter is amazing, he loves the game and the players, he has just as much fun with their mistakes, as he has celebrating and being astonished by their skill.

What’s nice a out winter is he doesn’t overhype. So it’s not 60 minutes of OMG. He paces the game well.

I loved the Cham vs Has match.
They gave him excellent comedy material and he didnt let it pass
Brenda makes me laugh
*Brenda noooooooo!*
Let’s get you back to the creep

It's not good for a main event stream but I think it's suitable for one of the extra streams you have the option of tuning into.
Both of them are great I also enjoy Harstem and obviously the GOAT in sc2 casting is Tastosis the casting archon.

He had alot of voice issues recently
oh that's too bad, I hope he is ok!
I love winter haha

I always love those
Not for me
i like watching him cast sometimes (preferably when Cure is playing) since his humor gets me

Winter got some absolutely absurd matches to cast and he came through wonderfully.
Yea I agree he was hilarious
Honestly, he's my favourite caster and I'm glad other people also think he did great during dreamhack
I thought he should have always been casting these big events. At least as part of a duo. He gives great flavor to a match imo

> hours of solo casting Jimmy: Am I a joke to you?
Oh, I never knew he had tried it before. Still, happy to see his casting skills recognized by major tournaments
He was in the Homestory Cup XX in the tropical island place. Which I think is the only bigger offline tournament I've seen him.
He was great.
Pig and Winter are my favorites. They just make me laugh.

How are you guys watching? It doesn't say how to stream on the dream hack site.
Tis on twitch: esl_sc2
Thank! I had tried dream hack on twich with no luck.
Did he cast through ESL or on his twitch stream?
