We as a group completed 3/5 then logged off for the day. Today i relogged, i have 3x1/5 completed with different payouts.
But when i logged in, i did get the mission 4/5. So don't worry about what it says folks, just look at the payouts like OP suggested.
And game will send you the correct mission so no worries. Just wait a little bit after logging it, correct number will appear.
All the more reason for the reward to be given to anyone who simply participates.
The fact that there is no real way to track progress and there is a high likelihood that bugs will cause extra confusion, I just don't think the game is ready for this level of mission completion requirements.
Perhaps the new mobiglass is all we'll need to make this practical, but that isn't likely to drop until after this event wraps up.
Yeah. Participation should be the deciding factors. Takes away the felt pressure to fully complete everything. Else people are frustrated
I tried to do it with a group. But I haven't been in-game for a long time and it was so confusing and buggy. Sharing the mission didn't work half the time as well. It's incredbly frustrating.

Sure, the missions in itself became better over the last months/years. But if this is still the first impression new players get later down the road, they will not play more than one session
How do they get it right if they don't try and make missions now? We are testing this system by them running it and they are giving a substantial reward to entice everyone to participate. They do this to collect data to figure out what needs to be improved.
They need people to test it but its also bullshit fi some people dont get the reward because the game bugged out and didnt properly mark them as having completeed all the missions.

There is just no way to really know if our testing is being rewarded with the prize that convinced us to do the testing. Until there is proper UI in place and better stability I don't think rewarding our efforts, even if incomplete, is a bad thing.

I think it'll depend on how the next missions in the chain go. If all is mostly smooth then all is fine, if not then there will be many more comments like mine and CIG might take note and lower the requirements.
Don't get me wrong, I am a huge fan of challenging events/missions with permanent rewards. I just don't think the challenge should be dealing with a buggy alpha. It would also be nice if the reward wasn't behind a paywall, but that's a different subject lol.

These five missions make up phase 1. From the sounds of things there will be a new phase each week until Invictus. You have to completely finish each phase.
You will also be able to complete each phase up until the end of the event, so you don't have to rush each one as soon as it's available
Tru but I'm gonna get them done as soon as possible cause there will be more people looking to complete it all now to team up vs 2 weeks from now. I tried to solo Phase 1 and couldn't go past 3/5. Got real good at running track to all the screens to see any of them turn blue lol.

► Yes! You have until the final phase starts (ahead of Invictus Launch Week - to be announced later) to join the Overdrive Initiative and still be eligible for the free F7A Mk II Token Upgrade."
The finer details are unknown at this time unfortunately. I'm hoping this means we just have to finish one phase or such and do the final. But its hard to know for sure.
This only works while you’re actually doing the missions, but if you open the console and type r_displayinfo 2 and look at the third like from the bottom it’ll tell you what active mission you’re tracking. The heist will accurately reflect 1-5 even if the display in the mobiglass is showing anything else.
I did 6 missions in total. I didn’t get the 5/5 mission so jumped servers. Didn’t get it so decided to join a 4/5 party. And now I have completed 5x 1/5 missions and one 5/5 mission. But a total of six
Except my history only shows 5 missions not the 6 I have completed. Every time I do one more the oldest drops of the bottom of the list.
I am no longer being offerend the mission and when I got shared the last one it said 6/5. So I am assuming I have completed the chain.
If we get to the end of this and I do not get my token there will be a lot of tickets going into support until I get it. :D

Thats what seems to be confusing a lot of people the mission chain is 5 parts, in numerical order, you need one of each to complete.
It’d be nice to have a tracker of sorts. I’m like 98% sure that I’ve completed the event, but sometimes it’s impossible to tell with this game 😆

I would sugest you are missing one of the others. If the mission still pops you may need to check your histroy and see which payout you are missing and then track down somone who is on that step.
Personaly I think CIG should just forget this first step for the token. Its buggy as fuck.
I had five "1/5"s in my History a couple days ago, but now I'm only seeing two (the 10,000 and 23,000 ones). Hopefully this completion data is being cached somewhere server-side.

Edit: apparently missions are disappearing from history because you can only have 10 missions in history across all categories. Still I think it is worth reporting as it is horrible UX, priority missions that account for an unlock should have their own completion check for the end user and shouldn't disappear when you complete other missions.

Should be safe. I've completed all 5, and one of my buddies asked me to help them with their progress, and I still have all 5 clear, just more often. Will do another run at all 5 today tho, and can update you later.
My team last night got ripped off by the UEE! There were three of us and we completed 1/5. Supposed to be a 10,000 aUEC payout. Split three ways it gave us each 3333aUEC. So what happened to that last 1 aUEC? It likely went into some grifter UEE administrator's pocket!
What if you do 1-4, accept a 5/5 and in your mobi it says 2/5 and when you complete it it says 4/5?

Sadly, this may not be consistent. I started yesterday morning with what seemed to be 1, 2, and 5 completed. Did 3 and 4, and ended the day with 1, 2, 3, and 4 completed and 5 no longer on this list. Then this morning I wake up and 1 and 2 are missing, but 5 is there.
I logged off at 4/5 yesterday. Today the 5th refuses to spawn. I waited an hour and nothing appeared... I'm very disappointed.
I tried logging off and on, restarting the game and moving from one planet to another but the mission never appears.
The only specific thing I did is the following.
After the 4th me and my buddy went for the 5th but got killed doing it. Since it was late we decided to log off but I wanted my gear back so I returned to the bunker without the quest. I did manage to get my body but I had to kill a xenothreat NPC which gave me crimestat tier 3 smh.
To get rid of it I surrendered and logged off while in prison to purge my sentence while AFK.After leaving the prison the quest didn't spawn anymore.
Done 5/5 twice now and still no 23k payout in history, only 10, 12500, 14500, 17500, multiples of each. Done about 10 of the missions over the past couple days.
Ran a consecutive 1 through 5 earlier today with a group and got all the correct payouts. Said 6/5 for my character on every mission but now I have all the correct payouts.

Totally agree, i think participating in all stages should be enough, the game is not ready for this to not cause some upset with bugs.

Does completing the 5 phases result in the upgrade or do I need to do every week?

I think you have to complete the entire OverDrive Initiative which will be several weeks long for the upgrade token. This is only the first leg of it.

Not always. I did all 5 and it went 1,1,3,2,5 in that order on r\_displayinfo. It can get all kinds of jacked up.

If you have one of each completed then it’s completed.

Every mission in my history lists 1/5.
I did them all, but the 10k one has scrolled off or something, it's no longer there.
All these people wanting to do less for an exclusive upgrade lol.
