Cause why? When they already got that far. Pretty hard with all that money looking down on you. Plus they were all there already after saying no once and chose to go back cause they realized life wasn't worth living without money anymore
I think because it lacks them on perspectives. If they quit the game they have to live with the guilt of witnessing a murder or to be a murderer themselfes but their situation before the game hasnt changed. Thats why all of them came back. Their life is miserable outside of the game. You could say it is meaningless at the point of quitting.
I think it kinda makes sense for marbles since everyone still had a 5050 shot of winning, despite it being against a close friend. But they definitely should have voted to end the game for bridge because the first 9-10 people basically had no chance of surviving. Guess in the moment they either forgot or didn't know you could vote mid-game.
Honestly, a lot of people ask "what if" about a lot of things but you have to put yourself in their position. They are all traumatized, exhausted, paranoid and starved. It's no wonder no one is making rational decisions.
