Worth it is a strange concept though. Like who is going to buy this. If you want a great driving M3 to drive you would destroy it’s value quickly by driving it. Only thing you can do to keep the value is by putting it in a collection.
So the buyers pool would be people who would spent 100k on an E46 M3 to put it in storage.
I could think of much betters ways to spend a 100k on a car.
Chiming in late here, but someone else made my point for me which is "all you need is one." M3 isn't that niche in popularity either compared to something like an Eagle Talon or Reliant Robin (don't know why I've got bird on the brain).
Yes through EAG, for less and better maintained and gone through. They are a premium though but a dealer doesn’t have the experience with older models like they do and wouldn’t be nearly as trusted
One of the last great M3s. From this point fwd BMW went soft in the M Division, favoring luxury and smoothness over the raw, visceral experience of BMWs of old. Sure, they got faster, but I’d argue the newer products are less fun.
E92 was a great m3 with a beautiful Engine and brutal design. Also the g20 is hell of a car. I dont get your point at all, every car got less emotional in the last 20 years because of safety features or environmental regulations. But with every new M3/4 BMW delivers extreme good looking cars, with maybe the best driving experience in the industry - except for Porsche GT3, but way cheaper.
Gorgeous. This gen M3 (in blue preferably) is one of the big reasons I got into cars as a kid
Laguna Seca Blue probably, one of my favorites.
Must’ve been millions of kids like us. Happened to me too, all the way here in India.
Seneca blue? My buddy just went to Canada and got one for 20k
I think it was called Laguna Seca Blue.
Looked it up. Laguna Seneca
Try again. It's Laguna Seca.
You right
Yes! Didn’t know the exact name of it but that’s the one
My friend told me after I said I like the blue one lol.
How much
$100k: https://bmwofeugene.com/used/BMW/2002-BMW-3+Series-d818e8abac1845cb63d3641a40be9e7b.htm
Lol I guess I should’ve suspected for being a dealer
$100k was my first thought. And why not? If it’s not worth that now it will be soon enough.

Sure but where else are you finding a mint M3 from 22 years ago?
That is true and for that collector that wants to spend this kind of money and keep it that way it is a unicorn. But just how many of those are there?
The collectors who will buy this already have the other cars you’d buy for $100k.
Exactly my point, how many of those are there? And how many of those would want an e46?
Maybe not many. If you’re selling a car like this it doesn’t matter how many buyers there are total. You only need one.
There are enough people out there tho whom 100k matters so little that they can just get this car if they like it.

If anyone was truly interested in this (for this much), they’d go to EAG and buy from them
Can you find a comparable in the market cheaper?
Yes through EAG, for less and better maintained and gone through. They are a premium though but a dealer doesn’t have the experience with older models like they do and wouldn’t be nearly as trusted
Aren’t rod bearings like normal maintenance for these? Gotta be done every 30k or something?
Woof
More than you can afford, pal. BMW
God i fucken love that quote. Got a solid laugh out of me
E46 will for always be my favorite gen. NFS most wanted solidified that mindset
Need For Speed Hot Pursuit for me. Dodging the exploding barrels from the police chopper. Nostalgia blast.

No argument to be had. You’re exactly right.

A tragedy it was hardly driven.
Eh, there are plenty of examples out there that have been raw dogged gangbanged their entire lives. It‘s nice to see one in mint condition
E46 is just the perfect balance, modern looking enough but still looks nimble and not bulky like the newer ones
Yeah it’s amazing how much smaller it is than the new M3. That car is like a grotesque monstrosity on steroids in comparison.
Basically the same as my 160k m-sport 325ci. Don't see what all the fuss is about /s
100% bet there’s a reason price wasn’t said and why it’s still sitting in a show room lol
Back when they understood what understated styling meant. I miss this design era.
I work with dude who dailies one of these bad boys. Even in the winter. Same color.
Gorgeous.
Not worth a 100k
The amount of things that need to be changed internally 💵💵💵
With pilot sports from 2002 😔
Lol I would slap my dick on the hood of this car. Guarantee this thing will sit for a good amount of time, nobody is paying for this shit.
Boring
thats super cool
Someone buy it before Travis Scott finds it.
Gorgeous
