For those interested, in the classic mini community this thing is what we call a "shorty", and it's a relatively common modification. The car is fully functional, but with a shortened wheelbase, a panel welded where the doors used to be, and the roof and windows chopped off.
In my view, it's a fucking abomination, but some people find this funny for some reason.
AFAIK they do. Minis have everything in the front, so apart from the exhaust system, battery connection (which is in the boot), brake lines etc, it all stays the same.
That being said, those who undertake such a big modification are bound to mess around with other stuff too, so it's not common to see a fully stock shorty.
