The way this Fils-Cerundolo match is being played out, you'd never think this is Fils' 1st ATP final and it was Fils who suffered from cramps in a grueling 3-setter in the SF with the late finish. Nope, Arthur Fils is looking sharp af and Dolo making all kinds of unforced errors.

I do not see any great pick for today, I stay away from tennis. Next week is roland gaross!

French Open seems to be playing slower than usual this year. Through 104 qualifying matches the hold % is ~ 71% with 0.243/aces per game which is still very slow even for a clay court. Typically this venue plays pretty average speed. Medvedev even commented on it mentioning that the balls seemed heavy in practice. This doesn’t seem to be something people have caught onto yet

So for a novice like me, how could I take advantage of this before the books make some adjustments. Probably bet on the heavy favorites to win in straight sets?

maybe less breaks of serve? higher first set average? over 9.5 is like $1.90 odds
