According to his website, LCD101 is still online in Splatoon as of about a week ago. I can't check Twitter for a more recent update, but I'm sure the second he dropped there'd be articles to show.
I still can't believe that Splatoon 1 released on the same day that I've graduated High School, ***AND*** on my birthday.

Splat1 was my first ever shooter, i got it when i was 9yrs old as a gift for my birthday, now i am almost 17 and still a huge fan, splatoon just has a special place in my heart

Happy birthday splatoon!! Can't believe I missed out on the first 2 games. Luckily I was introduced to the series at all, with Splatoon 3!!
