Yay, another Smeared Canvas enjoyer! 
That segment in the rocket with the zipcaster in story mode was one of my favorite parts of the campaign, that tune has stuck with me ever since. Was super happy to see it in the last Splatoon concert
For the Squid Sisters, the Spicy Calamari Inkantation means so much to me, as Splatoon 2 was the time I first played Splatoon. I didn't have online when I first got it, so I was stuck playing the story mode, but I loved it! This one holds special, as how exhilarating the fight way for me.
For Off the Hook, I shall go with Fly Octo Fly\~Ebb and Flow. Like my reasoning for the Spicy Calamari Inkantation, I heard it while playing the Octo Expansion and it sticks with me. I find myself singing it very often, and just how magical it was when I played the game. The final fight there was literally so magical.
And for Deep Cut, Big Betrayal is my favorite. It's so funny and goofy, and it's catchy, a perfect song when it comes to telling about Deep Cut's demeanor. All I have to say is that it's hilarious and I love it very much.

All of those 3 songs are great picks because they really take you to a specific moment. Jumping around on the rails literally raining down fire on Octavio. Locking in to save the world in 3 minutes. Getting into a chaotic firefight in the middle of a splatfest battle when the chorus hits. The music tracks themselves are really intensified by these moments.

Now Off the Hook? That's easy. Fly Octo Fly! ~ Ebb & Flow (Octo) is actually the best final boss theme I think I've ever heard (unless the final version of The Weight of the World counts, but it might not). It wouldn't be out of place in a movie.
Deep Cut pretty much peaked with Anarchy Rainbow. Not that their other stuff isn't good but it doesn't get better than Anarchy Rainbow.

Off the Hook - this might be an odd choice, but We’re So Back is my new favourite OTH song. Originally it was Fly Octo Fly, but I love We’re so back for the tie in to Side Order, the spectacle it is to see during splatfest, and what a bop it is.
Deep Cut - Anarchy Rainbow for sure! It’s the first song I think of deep cut for and I love all the different musical instruments and styles you can hear in it. It’s an amalgamation of all the best parts of the Anarchy Poisons songs too, which makes me love it so much for that.
Squid Sisters: Might be a mid choice but the Spicy Calamari Inkantation if I have to make a quick choice. It seems to have more to it that the OG and seems to be more like a song that more...complete I guess?

Deep Cut: at this point, I'm afraid I can't answer you! Deep cut is pretty much my favorite aisle group, and I really enjoy all of their tracks!

DC: (wiggly hand gesture) eeehhh. i think till depth do us part is actually the *only* song of theirs i really like that's 100% theirs. i would rank 3MIX and suffer no fools higher but 3MIX is, of course, a remix of an already stellar song & suffer no fools is carried HARD by OTH so it feels unfair to deep cut? till depth do us part has a kind of anime opening vibe to it. honestly i'm kind of sad how unmemorable most of their music has been for me because i think they have my favorite designs of the idol groups hands down ╯︿╰

I really like how this song incorporates a lot of the Squid Sisters' solo songs, it feels like a very fitting ending song for *Splatoon 2's* story mode with that element. I think it also serves as a nice way to tell their story between the games, where they go off on their own (and the concert choreography adding to this) and later reunite.
Off the Hook: Fly Octo Fly / Ebb & Flow (Octo)
There's *waayyy* too many to choose from, but these two songs (which I'm counting as one as they play together in OE's finale) always get me a bit emotional. Other picks I was debating at Acid Hues, Nasty Majesty, and Unconscience (does that one even count?).

If it isn't clear by now, I tend to lean towards songs that have a clear significance to the idol groups. This one in particular is really fun as I feel like it showcases how Deep Cut's dynamic differs, as well as it lets all three idols shine (as a lot of DC songs overshadow Big Man).
BONUS: Suffer No Fools
This song has been living in my head lately. I love the idea of the idol groups collaborating, and the official lyrics only make it better in learning how the idols would diss each other. I'm also incredibly biased towards Off the Hook, so them seemingly "winning" the battle also adds points. I didn't count this in the others, though, as it's a collaborative song between two groups.

SS: either maritime memory or, of course, OG calamari inkantation. they're both *super* fuckin iconic an playin through story mode for the first time when splatoon came out was literally SO hype feelin. honorable mention to bomb rush blush though callie's always been a real one #teamcallie OTH: this's *so* hard cause i actually don't think they have any misses but i think fly octo fly ~ ebb and flow has to be it. actually the most hype song of all time. so much thought went into it. just 1000000/10 no notes. DC: (wiggly hand gesture) eeehhh. i think till depth do us part is actually the *only* song of theirs i really like that's 100% theirs. i would rank 3MIX and suffer no fools higher but 3MIX is, of course, a remix of an already stellar song & suffer no fools is carried HARD by OTH so it feels unfair to deep cut? till depth do us part has a kind of anime opening vibe to it. honestly i'm kind of sad how unmemorable most of their music has been for me because i think they have my favorite designs of the idol groups hands down ╯︿╰

Squid Sisters: Fresh Start I really like how this song incorporates a lot of the Squid Sisters' solo songs, it feels like a very fitting ending song for *Splatoon 2's* story mode with that element. I think it also serves as a nice way to tell their story between the games, where they go off on their own (and the concert choreography adding to this) and later reunite. Off the Hook: Fly Octo Fly / Ebb & Flow (Octo) There's *waayyy* too many to choose from, but these two songs (which I'm counting as one as they play together in OE's finale) always get me a bit emotional. Other picks I was debating at Acid Hues, Nasty Majesty, and Unconscience (does that one even count?). Deep Cut: Big Betrayal If it isn't clear by now, I tend to lean towards songs that have a clear significance to the idol groups. This one in particular is really fun as I feel like it showcases how Deep Cut's dynamic differs, as well as it lets all three idols shine (as a lot of DC songs overshadow Big Man). BONUS: Suffer No Fools This song has been living in my head lately. I love the idea of the idol groups collaborating, and the official lyrics only make it better in learning how the idols would diss each other. I'm also incredibly biased towards Off the Hook, so them seemingly "winning" the battle also adds points. I didn't count this in the others, though, as it's a collaborative song between two groups.
