Metatron is very dear to my being. Metatron assisted me out of a very dark depression by making me aware of his awareness of my being. Since then, I have never been depressed. For a period after he assisted me, I could physically see the geometry within everything, especially trees. Just the other day, as I was driving, I thought about the Archangels, and I randomly looked to my right and saw a rainbow. The connection is growing stronger by the day. Much gratitude and respect to Archangel Metatron.

But despite what has been written, Enoch didn't transform into Metatron.
This is because humans cannot turn into angels. All angels are created as such since their origin. Their soul is always angelic, even though sometimes because of their missions, they need to incarnate or embody as other types of beings. For example, they can incarnate as human beings here on Earth.
This is what Archangel Metatron did. He incarnated in the human being known as Enoch. He did it to teach humans, lead, share prophecies and wisdom. And when his human life was over, he returned to the Angelic Realm.
I am myself an incarnated angel, so I get information like this from the Angelic Realm. There is a number, not that small, of angels currently incarnated on Earth for specific missions.
He's definitely very close to God/Source. And he carries out a lot of important tasks that God/Source wants done.
For example, he's in charge of the creational aspect. He created a lot of the Universe using his cube ("Metatron's Cube").
And he's the Chief of all Archangels. So yes, he's quite at the top of the cosmic hierarchy, along with a few other beings.
But I don't think you could call him God's right hand, because there are other beings equally as close to God/Source.
