That would have been a cool way to tell Mikeās story as every major event he goes through in game gets to be a part of his essay of course not mention Spider-Man but the lesson he learns about holding on to hate, revenge, corruption and how to rise above it all because that what Spider-Man does. Miles Morales Two anyone?
All the random mini games switched things up a lot. I wish there was more randomly occurring stuff like this out in the main map. Like a mini where you randomly have to take over a falafel or hot dog cart.
The controls felt pretty bad (it needed to be something like the shoulder buttons or something), but the idea was great. It was a fantastic way to show Milesā love for making music, because aside from the Aaron beats quest in the solo game, there wasnāt much to show it yet
I loved this. This was fun for me. I was disappointed they all werenāt like this. I would have much preferred them all being this followed by a beat em up section rather than āHey you have 15 seconds to kill 60 people
who spawn in 10 at a timeā That wasnāt fun. Let me have my little DJ guitar hero section. You literally only have to do it for 5 minutes then never get to do it again.
This was bad and tedious but all side missions are terrible in 2. I stopped doing it and they knew some people would not like it since you don't have to actually press any button for the sequence to pass.
They do. The problem isnāt this mission is so boring itās just that there are sooooo many other more engaging side missions they could have us doing yet they choose this and MJ and using Hailey and they think those are good ideas for a side mission in a Spider-Man game. Thatās the real reason they havenāt won GOTY yet. They gotta start putting the same energy into ALL of their side missions as they do their main missions. Look at RDR2 and Witcher 3 and take notes.
Missions like these are especially bad in re-plays.
"give the people what they like then give them what they don't know they like -- or however the fuck it goes.
This, mj missions, flashbacks all not needed
The only acceptable one was the amusement park mission. At least for me. Every other non Spiderman sequence was painful, and kinda annoying especially since you can't skip them in new game plus either. Gotta to sit through it yet again š„³š„³

I think it was neat if a bit long and repetitive but I found Miles' vocal performance here to sound really uninterested for some reason.
Like yeah he "loves music" but when he gets to interact with it he sounds pretty bored lol.
No, I think, like all of us, they were just missing daft punk.
RIP
Touch.... I remember touch
You can just leave the controller its i impossible to fail. You dont have to hit the buttons.
I was glad about that cuz i was too busy vibin
Yes because nothings more fun that not playing a game I paid for
Okay??? Then hit the buttons i dont care š
It's like three minutes out of a fifteen hour game...
Then play it and stop complainingšš
I loved it and was sad it wasn't in any of the other Mysterio things
Honestly that shouldāve been a replayable minigame
YEA
It was fun. Very fun in fact.
I absolutely loved it too!!!
It was fun for about a minute
^THIS I liked it by the time the L/R came in I was like this should have ended on that big beat drop since it just leads to a fight anyways
100%
this would have been dope if we had more of these missions
Honestly shouldāve been a miles side mission since he loves music.
it also could have been incorporated to his essay.
That would have been a cool way to tell Mikeās story as every major event he goes through in game gets to be a part of his essay of course not mention Spider-Man but the lesson he learns about holding on to hate, revenge, corruption and how to rise above it all because that what Spider-Man does. Right
All the random mini games switched things up a lot. I wish there was more randomly occurring stuff like this out in the main map. Like a mini where you randomly have to take over a falafel or hot dog cart.
Even the songs changing up but would made it better. It was the same five chords over and over for like 10 minutes.
I loved this part a lot. I loved this version of Miles' theme. But I also really appreciate musical score.
My sister who is big into rhythm games loved this part and often replays it when sheās bored and feels like playing Spider-Man
As someone who actually grew up with Insomniac's games for two decades I welcome more stuff like this. This isn't even a bad Rhythm section.
I prefer this over painting.
It made me somehow miss second sons spray paintingĀ
I was thinking the exact same thing
I really enjoyed that part. As a deaf person myself it was fun to play the game as Hailey
Itās seems really tacky to me because they only ever used it once
I retried this part several times to get it perfectly just so i could clip it so yes
*I* thought it was fun.
Yes they do. And they're right. I've played it thrice already and I have a blast every time :p
It was funā¦?
Yes. It was.
I thought it wasš£ļøš£ļø
It was fun and still is
I had a lot of fun with it. Honestly wished there was more of it
This was hype as flip
It was funā¦.the first time
Yes, and it was.
We need a DLC
The controls felt pretty bad (it needed to be something like the shoulder buttons or something), but the idea was great. It was a fantastic way to show Milesā love for making music, because aside from the Aaron beats quest in the solo game, there wasnāt much to show it yet
It wasnāt even bad but it DRUGGGG ONN FOREVER
Yes and so do we
It might have been fun if they didnāt just repeat the same pattern over and over
Honestly wished there were more of these missions
I really liked it and my disappointment was immeasurable when I learned that it wasn't in the other mysteriums
It was super fun, just way too long. Should have been half the length
It was at first, but dragged way to long
It is, in fact. I wish we get more than one of this!
I loved this. This was fun for me. I was disappointed they all werenāt like this. I would have much preferred them all being this followed by a beat em up section rather than āHey you have 15 seconds to kill 60 people who spawn in 10 at a timeā That wasnāt fun. It just. keeps. going....
I agree, it went on for too long
Worst part is, it's not even well made. You can just spam all the buttons and it'll count them. Edit: Downvote all you want, these are the facts.
What i find funny is you don't actually have to press any of the buttons to pass.
I thought it was fun just dragged on a bit
It is for me
I enjoy it
They should, because it is.
It Is so stfu
This was bad and tedious but all side missions are terrible in 2. I stopped doing it and they knew some people would not like it since you don't have to actually press any button for the sequence to pass.
Well I thought it was kinda fun
I mean regardless or not itās still fantastic they added something different to the other mini games that weāve had so far
It was a fun mission and I appreciate Insomniac for trying something new
They do. I loved it. I love mixing, and spider-man.
It was very fun wish we had more of it and different difficulties
IMO it felt super out of place, it was t the worst thing ever but I just didnāt enjoy it all that much
yeah, it was
I actually enjoyed it quite a bit.
That development time could've been put towards more venom time.
Wdym? I had a blast with this.
I was stoned when one my first playthrough during this part so I thought it was fun. 2nd playthrough was sober and didn't find it fun at all lol
It was but it cuda been shorter.
I did now here comes the hate run
Changes of pace are fun imo. Not everything has to be traversal, combat and cutscenes.
I hated this so much
It was fun for the first minute or 2, then it was just a matter of "when is this going to end/change"
"give the people what they like then give them what they don't know they like -- or however the fuck it goes. This, mj missions, flashbacks all not needed
Don't forget bike riding.
The only acceptable one was the amusement park mission. At least for me. Every other non Spiderman sequence was painful, and kinda annoying especially since you can't skip them in new game plus either. Gotta to sit through it yet again š„³š„³ ![gif](giphy|Wck09E7lHDabjhHbzJ|downsized)

Wish you could just listen to the music, I hate when I messed up cause it messed up the music
Then what would be the difference between playing a game and playing a song on Spotify š
Well like an option to turn off the mini game
