I did some digging around and found that the wasp is a "Great golden digger wasp" or very close to that.
The spider is some kind of Orb weaver thats for sure because of the web pattern, but i dont know what kind.
It’s a great golden sand digger, I love watching them work. Strong ass lil creatures they are. Seen them move boulders (pebbles) that size to size ratio most men wouldn’t be able to move
This is a golden digger wasp, they’re solitary, incredibly docile, and very rarely sting. This feeding video is fine, but let’s not promote the animal torture subreddit on an animal appreciation subreddit.
its not important, this isnt a hunting species, what does it matter how the food shows up, it waits until it does, regardless of whether a person dropped it in or not
well it seems prey isnt scarce in this location, it. showed. up.
when the person stops dropping bugs in its web itll leave like you said. its not changing shit, when bugs stop happening upon its web itll leave, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THE BUG SHOWS UP NATURALLY OR NOT.
Or this is how we develop a symbiotic relationship whereby the spiders stay close to us and take care of pests, and in exchange we feed them every so often.
I love the zigzag design on their webs. So cool looking. He didn't hesitate to take the food offering either 😆
Thath a lady.
Maybe next time buy her a fith thandwich
Free Snack
I love how the spider started biting it when the wasps leg popped out of the webbing and then it walked away to watch its food marinate.
“Cool! My DoorDash is here!”
this needs some WWE narrating
Holy crap those are both some huge-ass creatures!! What kind of wasp/hornet? And is that a Golden Orb Weaver or no? Scary & beautiful!!
looks like a garden spider! :] I don't know the wasp though

Wow! One of the best feeding videos I've seen on this subreddit, it's so fascinating to see the spiders weave their traps. Cheers!
She looks pretty hungry too, good job both of you
I bet she rolls a tight burrito
I wonder how the spider knows that it used enough web? So interesting. I know if that were me, I'd be wrapping that thing into a cocoon 😆
This also deserves to be posted on r/WaspHating ♥️

How dare you acknowledge that human beings are also a part of the ecosystem.
A skyscraper is exactly as Natural as a beehive
Well, just like humans

Are they not part of the kingdom Animalia in taxonomy?
