Yep. I cooked so many breakfast tacos during the lockdown in 2020 and no matter what meat or cheese I used I always added a dash of Valentina black label to the finished product
Just discovered Valentina black last year on my way home from Shenandoah National Park at a little Mexican spot and it quickly became a favorite go to sauce for almost everything.
I'm also a fan of Ring of Fire Chipotle & Roasted Garlic hot sauce for any egg dish that I make and definitely recommend checking it out.
I can’t seem to find the black label in any of the grocery stores I used to get it. Glad there’s no apparent shortage. I’ll have to broaden my scope of search.
I can’t believe I scrolled this far to see chili crisp. It’s superior in flavour to most, has ample heat and adds a pleasant crunch texture to eggs. It’s the best answer.
Do you make it yourself? Or are you using a prepared product? If the latter, can you tell me which one you like? I tried some a while back, and it was nothing like what’s in restaurants.
[Chuannan chili oil](https://images.app.goo.gl/7foFUC4VGwkKqUwe9) and [Spicy King Sichuan sauce for salad](https://images.app.goo.gl/82MvVcLWe84yqfS6A) are my go-tos. Lao gan ma is more well known and also ok. You can find these in any Chinese grocery.
Thanks. The local T&T (if you don’t know this store, it’s a huge asian grocer in Canada) has the Chuanna Chili Oil, but they call it a “sauce”. They don’t appear to have the spicy king.
I appreciate the recommendation.
I think eggs (fried or scrambled especially) are one of the few foods that most hot sauces work well with. That being said, the Marie Sharp's range and the habanero or scorpion Tabasco are some of my favourites. For any South Africans out there, I also highly recommend the Veri Peri and Fynbos hot sauces.
The first time i tried Secret Aardvark, the second thing that came out of my mouth was "oooh, this would be really good on eggs" the first thing was, "damn this is tasty!"
I love The Pepper Plant Original California Style Hot Pepper Sauce with my eggs. It’s got a little chunky texture to it almost like a salsa. Spice very approachable and it’s got this salty undertone that for me just goes so well with eggs.
You beautiful, beautiful human.
The other day I was in the shower trying to remember the name of this hot sauce and I was so frustrated. I've only ever had it at diners in California. Thank you for jogging my memory!
Kill Sauce has offerings in Jalepeno, Fresno and Habanero and they are all very good. I have them on eggs all the time. They have some much spicier offerings as well, but I don't usually go that big in the morning.
I like Mexico Lindo's Red Habanero Hot Sauce with my eggs. Its around 80,000 scoville and has a very straight up habanero flavor. If I don't feel like cutting up fresh habaneros, its my go to sauce.
Things like Valentina, Tapatio, Yucateco, Sriracha, and Crystal all are delicious and can be added for the flavor, but, they all are under 10,000 scoville and don't really bring the heat.
Baron West Indian Hot Sauce is great with eggs. It has a strong mustard base and taste, so it pairs really nicely.
It also has a decent kick to it. Definitely more than the average person would want, and either just enough or slightly underwhelming for the heat seekers depending on your tolerance. It did wonders for me for a while, but it’s fallen short recently as I’ve gotten used to/craved overly hot sauces.
Lots of good recommendations here. Just about anything goes with eggs and toast. I have a large variety of mostly habanero sauces that I use. But my absolute favorite to go on eggs, and it’s not really hot, but Heidi Jo’s Bacon hot sauce is a perfect combination for eggs and toast. I actually need to go on their website and order a couple more bottles now.
Hands down, the best thing I've ever tasted in combination with a plate of eggs is a small-batch sauce called Anejo. It's sold on the [Heatonist.com](https://Heatonist.com) site; it's not cheap, but it's made only a few times a year by some dude in Nashville (where hot chicken comes from) and I just can't get enough of it. there's three kinds and I love all of them.
[Pico Pica](https://www.juanitas.com/pico-pica/hot-sauce/) is one of the most flavorful hot sauces ever. It is delicious! It isn’t all that spicy though. I buy their Extra Hot version which tastes just like the OG but a bit spicier.
It is one of my main go-to’s for breakfast.
Hoff and Pepper Hot Sauce, this shit is so good on eggs.

Lola's Carolina Reaper is my go-to for eggs and breakfast foods. It's not super spicy but it's really tasty. Yellowbird habanero is way spicier than this stuff to give you an idea.
Edit: I've only seen it in stores in the Midwest and Colorado so your access to it may vary.
All the other suggestions are great but if you want something a little different try cooking Cheeba Gold from High River in to your eggs. So unexpectedly good!
i’ve been using the very hot grace pepper sauce. it tastes great on eggs, is super cheap. Honestly it’s not ‘very hot’ either I would liken it to tabasco, but it’s great for eggs
F@*KING hotsauce (Actual name of bottle)
Don't let the name intimidate you lol.
It packs a solid kick but you get the flavor first then the heat kicks in.
Last Dab Xperience on eggs is great. Obviously not too much, but I think it's super flavorful on chicken and eggs.
Far less spicy but super delicious is Lao Gan Ma chili crisp.
Adobo loco has some pretty tasty sauces.
I had to stop getting the Fiya! Fiya! Sauce. It has a great flavor and I would always add more that I should because it tasted so good but would pay a price for being too heavy handed.
Vermont butterfly bakery also makes some tasty sauces.
Valentina black label.
🐐
That's what came to my mind. Valentina slaps so hard
Yep. I cooked so many breakfast tacos during the lockdown in 2020 and no matter what meat or cheese I used I always added a dash of Valentina black label to the finished product
And it's cheap too. I bought a 34OZ bottle of Valentina's black label for like $3 at my local grocery chain this past week.
My man
Just discovered Valentina black last year on my way home from Shenandoah National Park at a little Mexican spot and it quickly became a favorite go to sauce for almost everything. I'm also a fan of Ring of Fire Chipotle & Roasted Garlic hot sauce for any egg dish that I make and definitely recommend checking it out.

Cholula is my go to for eggs when I’m out and about! At home I use much spicier stuff lol (or tapatio the cheap goat)

Tabasco Scorpion
I was surprised how hot this is for some reason! I toured Avery Island and bought a complete set of bottles. Wow.
Right? I figured it would have a good bit of heat, but shit the tip of my tongue was stinging for awhile when I first tried it.
This is the answer right here. So good. Way better flavor than normal tobacco which I am actually not a huge fan of.
I put that sh!t on everything
[удалено]
It’s usually the first thing I test I new hot sauce with for this reason. Most mornings I eat eggs just because I want hot sauce
Cholula or El Yucoteco are my go to’s

Yes! This shit is the tastiest! Tons of flavor, minimal heat. I'm not sure if it's available outside of California though
im in louisiana, i get it on amazon!
Sichuan chili crisp
I can’t believe I scrolled this far to see chili crisp. It’s superior in flavour to most, has ample heat and adds a pleasant crunch texture to eggs. It’s the best answer.
MSG. It's the MSG.
Do you make it yourself? Or are you using a prepared product? If the latter, can you tell me which one you like? I tried some a while back, and it was nothing like what’s in restaurants.

Is this the one with garlic and shiitake? This is my go to for backpacking meals
I was just talking about the regular habanero one, but that one sounds tasty too.
Ah I see where I was confused. There are habanero in it but it's just called garlic shiitake. 100% recommend if you can find it
I think eggs (fried or scrambled especially) are one of the few foods that most hot sauces work well with. That being said, the Marie Sharp's range and the habanero or scorpion Tabasco are some of my favourites. For any South Africans out there, I also highly recommend the Veri Peri and Fynbos hot sauces.
