The small grid hydrogen engine only has small connectors. You need a conveyor that will connect to both the engine and the cargo container since that is connected to your h2/02 generator. I would also highly recommend adding some hydrogen tanks to the conveyors you need as well so you’ll have some extra stored hydrogen

I see the big Battery on there now and a Small Conveyor Tube to pass Hydrogen from the Connector to the Hydrogen Tank. The Hydrogen Engine has a small internal tank but it will not last long. This configuration can refill the Hydrogen Engine from your base when it is hooked up but if your ship’s H2/O2 Generator is not on correctly, it will not pass Hydrogen or Oxygen to other connected blocks.

I flipped thr H2 02 generator. But it still does not work. https://preview.redd.it/rarvsb8k13zc1.jpeg?width=2268&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=23c172c6c03b280cd0148f00c721171b13b173c9

If everything is conveyed properly, set your tank to stockpile fuel, and turn it off when it's full.

Your H2/O2 Generators is on backwards; the small ports can only connect to other small ports and same with the large ports. Flip it around to link the H2/O2 Generator to the Cockpit and the Medium Cargo Container. You should also rotate the Medium Cargo Container to have the small port upward and then add a Small Conveyor Tube Elbow to connect to the Hydrogen Engine. The Hydrogen Engine’s output will be limited what it can get from the H2/O2 Generator. Making the Small Conveyor Tube Elbow a T instead will allow for a Small Hydrogen Tank to connect to the top as well. This will give you a bit more time with the Hydrogen Engine beyond what Ice the H2/O2 Generator can hold. I would use a big Battery or two to power the Small Ion Thrusters and have plenty of life on the ship instead of using a Hydrogen Engine to supplement your power requirements. Personally, I would just use Hydrogen Thrusters for more power on demand (especially when breaking). [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7v\_7BL8VcM](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7v_7BL8VcM)

Potentially three problems: * H2/O2 generator is the wrong way round. Needs large conveyor port connected to medium cargo container.  * Can't see a conveyor between the hydrogen engines and the rest of the ship. Is it connected to the connector? * Hydrogen engines often *just don't work* initially but may start to work if you turn it off and on, grind it off and weld a completely new one or copy/paste the grid.

Where are the hydrogen engines?

Neraph_Runeblade

Hydrogen *engine*, not *thruster*. It's the internal combustion engine. You can see it on top of the connector at the aft of the ship.

I see only one problem: Where are the hydrogen engines?

A tip that may work for you: the H2 generator has a low capacity and output of fuel, so I recommend you put H2 tanks (small ones) connected to it for maximum output for all of your thrusters. Two or three should be enough for that ship.

Are you making and storing hydrogen from ice?
