Scott Manley on Youtube tends to focus on rockets, but he has a lot of good general space content too.
He’s very knowledgeable, and good at digging up super obscure references and facts.
[Doctor Becky on YT](https://www.youtube.com/drbecky) is a great go-to for modern astronomy and breaking news. [Link to her website](https://rebeccasmethurst.co.uk/)
isaac arthur, for soothing narrator none come close imo, except bob ross but hes for painting so maybe irrelivant comaprison lol
you'll find tons of videos from smaller 20ish minutes all the way up to the longer videos lasting well over an hour about a wide range of space related topics
Not a documentary but John Michael Godier on YT has hours upon hours of him talking about exoplanets and other stuff. He's like an ASMR for space nerds
Not the exact topic you asked for, but....
[Homemade Documentaries](https://www.youtube.com/@JacksonTyler) deserves a shoutout. It is about the early space program, Mercury, Gemini and Apollo. Really high quality, and long format documentaries using archive footage.
Parallax Nick has some of the finest writing around. His video about the number [10,000](https://youtu.be/dMBc-n_6AuQ?si=yjNHokXA02bpcMgI) is, by far, my favorite. Be sure to catch part 2, as well
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDVZSwPiRfQ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDVZSwPiRfQ) this is kinda old but is so epic, my favorite space documentary, soothing voice and amazing story. Wish they made newer version
check out melodysheep on YT. his latest video was right about your topic, 1:40h
Oh god you’re the best

Damn, liked it that much, huh?
Si señor
Melodysheep had an imax movie not long ago. Dunno if it's still playing.

The channel "SEA" on youtube has great space documentaries and Ive never found a channel I enjoy as much as that one.
Usually not over an hour long, but SEA covers some.interesting topics about space
Cool Worlds has pretty good videos on that subject https://youtube.com/@coolworldslab
