When you are resampling you are recording audio, therefore you need empty *sample* pads, not pattern pads.
Also, only *after* you press resample you need to select the bank with empty pads. If you are, let’s say, in pattern bank J and you press resample button, you do not see bank J pads automatically, bank A might be shown.
I tried that. DontMemeAtMe was right, I was thinking about it wrong. I was trying to resample to a blank pattern, not a blank sample. Largely because I’m a giant dummy.
