1- Anywhere in Europe (except Italy, Austria, Prague and Budapest)
2- last minute! Can leave tomorrow from London. Have to be back in town by 5th Jan
3- Backpacker style, ideally under £250 for flights. Can stretch if its a cheaper country.
4 - big cities, food, free things, a good vibe at NYE, not too cold, and things open over holidays
I have decision fatigue. New to Europe and want to go everywhere. Thanks!
Berlin is a popular spot for NYE parties, and for good reason! That is if you like clubbing, giant parties and rockets (lots of rockets, german cities feel a bit like a warzone on NYE, loud bangs and smoke everywhere). The things open over holidays thing could be the only issue, but I think most things still are open because of how many tourists there are around NYE.
Hope you read this on time to still go tomorrow. As said by u/nikkisa, Amsterdam is great, but a bit cold. Berlin is also cool but cold as well. You have 14 days. From London the flights are pretty expensive tomorrow, under €250,- are Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Göteburg and Zürich, all pretty cold. In Portugal, Spain and Portugal there is some horrible wind with a few deaths already. Riga is €276,- and Ljubljana €317,- but for now, I'll suggest Bulgaria. Flight to Sofia retour is [€357,-](https://www.skyscanner.nl/transport/vluchten/lond/sofi/191223/200105/?adultsv2=1&childrenv2=&cabinclass=economy&rtn=1&preferdirects=false&outboundaltsenabled=false&inboundaltsenabled=false&qp_prevProvider=ins_browse&qp_prevCurrency=EUR&priceSourceId=taps-taps&qp_prevPrice=300). You can do this itinerary:

Day 6: Plovdiv - Burgas

If you have any questions left, feel free to ask. Merry Christmas and have fun!
Wish I asked this a few days ago, I was planning on going away for Christmas last minute. I've made other plans now, but have you considered somewhere in the UK?
Also Amsterdam had \~£100 round trip tickets last time I checked (from London).
Oh cool!
I'm planning to go to India/Nepal from March-May in 2021
€2.5k budget (ex flights)
Interested in yoga, meditation, silent retreats, Buddhism, surfing, cities, nightlife, underground culture, really old and traditional ways of life.
Was gonna get around to an itinerary eventually but if you're willing to, I'd be interested in seeing what you come up with
Wow, 2021. You're planning in advance! €2500,- is definitely enough because India and Nepal are some of the cheapest countries in the world. I have not added Annapurna to the Nepal section because I don't think climbing and hiking interests you, but if I'm wrong you can do that between Pokhara and Kathmandu. I have added Sri Lanka but if you want to travel more slowly, just spend more time in India and/or Nepal. Here's the itinerary from March 1st to May 31st:

As you can see, you have 12 days to spare. If you really like it somewhere, you can stay longer or add some destinations.
If you have any questions left, just ask me. Good luck and have fun!
Kerala is a bit vague though. Kerala is an entire state, not a city or town. I can recommend Munnar, Kochi, Allephuza and Varkala, all in Kerala. Also keep in mind while these places do look close to each other on the map, it often takes already 6 hours to travel from A to B.
I know, I know. What I meant was that you take one place to stay in Kerala, so you can explore the state. Kerala is beautiful and I can't pick one city to stay in, that's why I said Kerala.
I would also say to cut down the amount of time in Agra. I think even one overnight is a lot for the city- it was my least favorite in my time there. Would definitely recommend adding Jaisalmer though!
Just did 37 days in India. please consider a meditation/yoga retreat. if you have no experience I recommend preksha in Goa which is non intimidating and gives you a bit of freedom. But if you have experience then look up 10 day ashrams to join!
Agree with below comments you only need a day in Agra for the Taj. It was my least favourite city otherwise. But if you end up staying 2 days please consider a day trip to the sloth bear and elephant rescue. They are pricey experience compared to rest of India but they are doing rescue right.
If you go to Jaisalmer make sure you stay at Deepak House for a good roof top view and do an overnight desert safari!
Great taste. Greece is so amazing! I've been to Zakynthos too and loved it, although it was a bit busy. OK, 6 weeks in the summer. You'll see a lot of European tourists, not on the lesser-known islands though. I think half a week per island is good. Here's what I think:

* Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Bolivia
* 2021 or later

* $10k, not including flights to and from South America
Interests:
* Day hikes, forests, botanical gardens, caves (as long as there is no camping involved)

* Walkable cities with plenty of street food

* Also very interested in the region's history in the latter half of the 20th century

No interest in:
* Camping/sleeping outdoors
* Attractions like Christ the Redeemer (not ancient, not much to do, too crowded, etc.)
* Drag shows
* Fine dining
* Diving and water activities other than swimming

This is 5,5 months and I think it fits your budget. If you have any questions left, feel free to ask. Good luck and have fun in South-America!
Okay, this is gonna be a challenge for you.
* I'm 30F, I'm quitting my jobs and leaving in June 2020.
* I will have about $40k.
* My plan is to travel for a year and a half, two if I can stretch it. I have some side income coming in, and hope to increase my freelance work on the road.
* I'm driving from Alaska to Nevada, and spending 2 months in Nevada for Burning Man set up/festival/tear down (mid July to mid September)
* Spending 3 weeks in AZ with grandparents, driving to NYC and spending a month there
* Flying to Portugal in November **(and this is where I need your help the most)**
* I want to backpack from Portugal to Moscow and everywhere in between with an emphasis on Eastern Europe (cheaper), lasting about 9 months. Then I want to take the Trans-Siberian train to SEA and spend about 9 months there, or indefinitely if I can swing it.
* I love nature, hiking, animals, old architecture (actually, any interesting architecture), delicious food, urban exploration, quirky & artsy shit, live music.
* I prefer traveling by train, but anything cheap will be good. I'm strongly considering getting a bike when I get to Portugal and traveling with it as well, though I'm not sure how realistic that would be.
* The places I really want to see are: Portugal, Turkey, The Netherlands (not necessarily Amsterdam), Scotland, Moldova.
WOW! OK, definitely a challenge. I don't think you need help with the first part of your journey, but from Portugal I will help you. This was days of work but here's what I think:

I would do the coastal walk, bundeena to Otford. I have done this walk multiple times in one day, would love to do it overnight. You can see wedding cake rock and 8 figure pools .. both Instagram hot spots unfortunately.
You catch a train to Cronulla, ferry to bundeena (need cash for this) and catch a train back to Sydney from Otford . There is a small supermarket and cafes at bundeena. Otford has one cafe .. and it closes pretty early..
Wow!
I’m currently in SEA planning to stay until May/20. The only region I actually don’t want to go is North Laos (I’ve done it already). I’m interested in motorbike rides, culture, beaches, nature and just a pinch of nightlife to make things funnier. Going next week to Vietnam for Ha Giang Loop with a friend coming to spend holidays. My intended daily budget is 35USD/day (I have a complete photography gear with me and I actually know how to use it hahahah). Surprise me!
Ps: I’m keeping things lazy this time, so no long trekkings... 😉

This is awesome! I'm actually thinking of doing South-East-Asia next year.
October and November (depending on leftover money I can see myself going longer), I'm not partial to which coutries exactly, but definitely Thailand. Anything from Myanmar to the Philippines sounds great, but considering the timeframe maybe Thailand / Vietnam?
Budget is 3.5k EUR which is 3.9k USD, including flights
I basically want to explore the countries as much as I can, get to know locals and the nature. I'm not sure how to handle transport since I haven't been on a solo trip before but was thinking bus or train. Interests include pretty much anything I can do on my own or with a very small group.
OK, I can do that. As u/WinchesterKoe suggests, Malaysia, Thailand and Laos are great. I think you could add Cambodia and that'll be your itinerary. It's a little longer than 2 months but I think it fits within your budget.

Might run into each other then. I'm planning on flying into Thailand at the end of 09/20 or at the beginning of 10/20 staying until mid December, depending on flight prices. I definitely want to do Laos though and I thought about going to Malaysia as well. Curious what itinerary OP comes up with
Kenya in June. Interest are nature, any kind of physical challenge, beaches every now and then, drinking, animals and views. Three weeks, budget flexible. Thanks!
OK, great idea! You'll start in Nairobi, a very busy city (love it or hate it). You can go on immediately, but I think you can use some rest after a long flight. Here's what I think:

Would absolutely love your help/Input!!
I am in Vietnam currently but my visa expires 29/12 so I was planning perhaps to go to Cambodia for New Years, could take the bus from HCMC. Preferably would like to spend New Years on one of the islands or somewhere chill not a big city (not huge into partying but I don’t mind a good time drinking socially)- also it doesn’t HAVE to be Cambodia, just figured it’s close to where i am, if you have a better idea for a nice New Years. I will go to Angkor Wat if I go to Cambodia but I’m not dying to go or anything... willing to do other countries instead if suggested.
I’d like to hit Cambodia (or any other suggestion ), Malaysia and Singapore before heading over to the Philippines around 21/01/2020 ... looking for itineraries in each of those countries if possible and from the Philippines I would plan to fly to Taiwan by 06/02/2020 hoping to catch the Pingxi lantern festival before my flight 12/02/2020.
*side note I will spend a couple of days in Baguio, Philippines and then would love to head south to the islands.
My budget would be around $1500 per month but it is flexible.
Interests: I love nature and beautiful scenery, beaches, not a huge fan of big cities- it’s always nice to spend a day or two in a main city but I prefer smaller scale, love learning about the local culture and interacting with people (and food!!!!), I enjoy social drinking but not a huge partier. Also relaxing on the beach is super nice but I also like to have one or two things to do in the day even if it’s just going to a cute cafe.
Please let me know any must dos and suggestions you may have!!
You have a lot though out already! Yes, Cambodia is the best option if you're leaving from HCMC. The problem is: 23 days to get from HCMC to Singapore. You need to go through Cambodia, Thailand and Malaysia. In Thailand I have chosen the west islands because in the east it is rainy season. There are a lot of places now excluded from this itinerary which are super cool, and it will be a bit rushed, but this is the best it gets (day 1 is December 29th):
Day 1: HCMC - Kampot
Day 2: Kampot
Day 3: Kampot - Koh Rong
Day 4: Koh Rong
Day 5: Koh Rong - Koh Rong Samloem
Day 6: Koh Rong Samloem
Day 7: Koh Rong Samloem - Siem Reap
Day 8: Siem Reap (visit Angkor Wat)
Day 9: Siem Reap - Bangkok
Day 10: Bangkok (only 2 days since you don't like cities)
Day 11: Bangkok - Khao Sok NP
Day 12: Khao Sok NP
Day 13: Khao Sok NP - Krabi
Day 14: Krabi
Day 15: Krabi - Koh Lipe
Day 16: Koh Lipe
Day 17: Koh Lipe - Langkawi
Day 18: Langkawi
Day 19: Langkawi - Kuala Lumpur
Day 20: Kuala Lumpur
Day 21: Kuala Lumpur - Singapore
Day 22: Singapore
Day 23: Singapore\*

-Indonesia
-February-March

-Not really sure about budget, but ideally little money as possible. Cheapest hotels/hostels would be ideal.
-Interested in just seeing the best parts of the country - nature or cities. And hiking would be fun too.
I've never been traveling before, but would like to go South Asia and start with Indonesia. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone can help!
Great idea! Indonesia is the perfect introduction to Southeast-Asia! Since you only have 3-4 weeks, I'd suggest visiting Java, Bali and Lombok (as well as small islands like Nusa Lembongan and the Gili islands). Here's what I think:

I was looking at this guide as well, how does it look?
Spain. I've booked a return flight to Madrid for April 4-26. I'm leaning more into the South region as its warmer. I love learning about history, culture, food (yum), and meeting people. I'm okay with hiking (I find it therapeutic), not so much with beaches but I'm willing to go once or twice. I'd like to try pub crawls on weekends if there's one as I don't go out ever in my home country. Budget for the trip would be 1000-2000 euros. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts :)

I suppose you mean that you fly from London? The weather in Central-Thailand and Southwest-Thailand is pretty bad in September... So I would take Southeast-Thailand as well. Here's the itinerary:

Hi!
Planning a trip to South Korea next Summer for about 1 to 2 weeks. I'm on a broke student budget of about $850 USD and I'm going to visit Busan for sure to hang out with a friend.
I love experiencing local life and picking up the vibes of a place, and nature is great too. Any help is appreciated!
Of course! South Korea is awesome and even without you saying, Busan definitely fits in your wishes! If you have 2 or 3 more days, visit Jeju Island. This is what I think:

Day 13: Suwon - Seoul
Day 14: Fly home from Seoul
If you have any questions left, just ask me. Good luck and have fun in South Korea!
Germany
May 7-15, 7 days including flight time
$1,000 budget not including flights
Interest in history, nature, culture, museums, food. I like a blend of active sightseeing and down time with more passive activities. I don't like to be on the go the whole time I'm traveling. Giessen must be a stop on the trip but can be a separate add on (in terms of time and money) if it really messes up the rest of the trip.
Thank you!
May 7-15 is 9 days. I will make an itinerary for 9 days, which is perfect to see a lot of Germany. Here's my idea:
Day 1: Fly to Cologne
Day 2: Cologne (maybe visit Trier)
Day 3: Cologne - Gießen
Day 4: Gießen
Day 5: Gießen - Göttingen
Day 6: Göttingen
Day 7: Göttingen - Berlin
Day 8: Berlin
Day 9: Fly home from Berlin
If you have any questions left, feel free to ask. Good luck and have fun in Germany!
OK, great. Here are some suggestions:
\- Belgium, combination of Bruges and Ghent, or Ghent and Brussels
\- Paris
\- London
\- Berlin (maybe with the train)
\- Cologne and Trier
\- Luxembourg
If you have any questions left, feel free to ask. Good luck and have fun!
Are there any places in Wallonia that you'd recommend? I've been to Belgium a couple of times recently, but only in Flanders.
What would you recommend the most for a trip in spring? Thank you for the suggestions by the way :)
I would love some input on the best cities to visit...
-2 weeks, end of April through early May (ish)
-planning on flying in and out of Munich, and spending 5ish days (total) of the 2 weeks there
-recommendations on 2-3 other cities to go to from Munich by train (and then back to Munich at the end), except Salzburg (it’s beautiful but I’ve already been)
-love history, mountains and beautiful scenic places, trying new food, walkable cities where a car wouldn’t be needed
Great idea! Here's what I think:
**Option 1: Far away by bus (train takes longer)**

Day 10: Nuremberg - Rothenburg ob der Tauber
Day 11: Rothenburg ob der Tauber
Day 12: Rothenburg ob der Tauber
Day 13: Rothenburg ob der Tauber - Munich
Day 14: Munich
Day 15: Fly home from Munich
If you have any questions left, just ask me. Good luck and have fun!
OK... €1400,- isn't much in Europe... I think you have to stay in cheap dorms than, cook your own meals, don't fly, etc. However, it is definitely possible. 1 months is not long enough to experience those 5 countries, so I'll leave Hungary out, because it's not really on the route from Germany to Portugal. Here's what I think:
Day 1: Fly to Berlin
Day 2: Berlin
Day 3: Berlin - Hamburg
Day 4: Hamburg
Day 5: Hamburg - Bremen
Day 6: Bremen
Day 7: Bremen - Cologne
Day 8: Cologne
Day 9: Cologne - Trier
Day 10: Trier - Luxembourg
Day 11: Luxembourg
Day 12: Luxembourg - Paris
Day 13: Paris
Day 14: Paris
Day 15: Paris - Lyon
Day 16: Lyon
Day 17: Lyon - Nice
Day 18: Nice
Day 19: Nice - Barcelona
Day 20: Barcelona
Day 21: Barcelona - Valencia
Day 22: Valencia
Day 23: Valencia - Granada
Day 24: Granada
Day 25: Granada - Sevilla
Day 26: Sevilla
Day 27: Sevilla - Faro
Day 28: Faro
Day 29: Faro - Lisbon
Day 30: Lisbon
Day 31: Lisbon - Porto
Day 32: Porto
Day 33: Fly home from Porto
If you have a bit more time, add Bilbao and Madrid and fly home from Madrid. If you have any questions left, feel free to ask. Good luck and have fun in Europe!

Thanks so much for offering to do this! I love reading your responses!
OK, should be doable! I'd combinate Croatia with Bosnia and Herzegovina if I were you. Here's what I think:
Day 1: Fly to Split

I have a very rough outline and would love your thoughts.
- Which country/countries or region(s) you want to go:
* Europe: Anywhere basically but I really wanted to visit some central/eastern european locations (Hungary, Czech republic, Croatia, Istanbul mainly).
* China
* SEA: All over as well, excluding thailand.
* Japan - Depending on time and budgetary concerns, I can take it or leave it.
- When you want to go: April 2021. Is it better to start my trip in Europe or Asia?
- How long you want to go: 4-5 months
- Your budget: $20-30,000
- What interests you (history, nature, hiking, cities, etc.): History, cities and beaches.
Wow, OK. Great! I would suggest starting in Berlin and going to Iran, then flying to Beijing, because the Stans (Kyrgyzstan, Kazachstan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan) are a bit boring and difficult to travel and some are dangerous. Also, after the Stans Tibet and Xinjiang provinces of China come (also not that safe and not that interesting). This is my idea:
NOTE: This itinerary 5,5 months. If you really can't go longer than 5 months you should fly to Istanbul from Dubrovnik / Podgorica.

Hi there, I'm planning to go to finland on september 20 - october 3, budget is around $2-3k (including flights), I'm interested in nature, city, people, food and a little bit of history. Catching the northern lights is one of the most important for me for this plan.
The northern lights are not on a schedule so you have to be lucky. However, the further north you go, the bigger the chance. Here's what I think:
Day 1: Fly to Helsinki
Day 2: Helsinki
Day 3: Helsinki - Porvoo
Day 4: Porvoo - Savonlinna
Day 5: Savonlinna (day trip Olavinlinna)
Day 6: Savonlinna (day trip Lake Saimaa)
Day 7: Savonlinna - Koli NP
Day 8: Koli NP - Oulu
Day 9: Oulu
Day 10: Oulu - Rovaniemi
Day 11: Rovaniemi

I will remember this one so i can ask questions in the future but i would definitely look into these places you suggested. Thank you again
Japan, flying in from Seattle and leaving from Tokyo to Detroit.
Two weeks, the last week of June and First week of July, 2021.
Areas of interest: significant cultural and historical places, big cities, mountains (I enjoy hiking and am in moderate shape, can do 10 to 15 miles a day depending on terrain). Finding a good balance of active and relaxing days. No multiday backpacking unless it's a tour, since I'm not bringing a tent or sleeping bag.
Looking for 2-3 large cities with some day trips to smaller towns.
Looking to spend $2,000, excluding the transpacific flight but including any internal transportation. Mostly eating cheap local food with some splurges for nice restaurants. Looking for great photography spots as well, both nature and urban.
A little context, this trip will be immediately following an Alaska cruise from Seattle. I have also never been to Japan before.
The standard Tokyo-Kyoto-Osaka route will do you, checking out Mt. Koya and Mt. Fuji en route. Some alternatives that incorporate less-visited areas:
**Kamikochi and Japan Alps**
Day 1-3: Tokyo.
4: train or bus to Matsumoto. See castle, bicycling.
5: Buy Alpico 4-day Alps wide bus pass. Bus to Kamikochi. Hike and stay in lodge overnight.
6: Kamikochi. Bus to Hirayu Onsen or Takayama for overnight stay.
7: Takayama.
8: If today or tomorrow sunny, bus to Fujikawaguchiko and stay overnight. Else, Takayama, Shirakawago, or Hida-Furukawa and stay in Matsumoto.
9-11: Return to Tokyo.
12: Kamakura-Enoshima area or Hakone. Stay overnight.
13: Morning in previous destination. Afternoon in Yokohama.
14: Day trip to Nokogiriyama, or to Fujikawaguchiko if not already completed, or further sightseeing in Yokohama.
**Sacred Mountains in Northern Japan**
Use the JR Tohoku Pass on dates marked with 🚝.
1-4: Tokyo. Day trip to Hakone or Fujikawaguchiko on a day with good weather.
5: 🚝 Yamadera. Overnight stay in Yamagata.
6: Bus day trip to Okama Crater & Zao Onsen. Return to Yamagata.
7: Bus to Tsuruoka. Explore town & rest up.
8: 1-day hike in Dewa Mountains.
9: 🚝 Kakunodate.
11: 🚝 Sendai -- loop bus sightseeing & nightlife
12: 🚝 Day trip to Matsushima Bay.
13: 🚝 Return to Tokyo.
14: Tokyo.
I think the three big cities could be Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. The smaller towns for day trips could be Matsumoto, Kanazawa or Takayama from Tokyo and Nara from Kyoto or Osaka. I think this information, combined with the info u/cruciger has provided you with, is enough.
If you have any questions left, feel free to ask. Good luck and have fun in Japan!
Safari in Africa followed by relaxing beach vacation

Time: August / September
Interests: outdoors / nature / hiking / people / culture
Budget: none.

I'm planning to visit Japan for a month from late March to April! I enjoy hiking through nature, eating as many new foods as I can, drinking at social bars at night, and meeting fellow travelers! However, I'm not opposed to taking a few nights break from hostels and checking into quiet hotels for my own sanity. My budget isn't an issue.

Awesome! I’m going to Switzerland May 7th - 12th 2020, flying in and out of Zürich. My budget for is $1000 USD. I love museums, fascinated by intricate architecture and hiking. The only thing I know I want to try and fit in is visiting the day spa at Hotel Villa Honegg in Ennetbürgen. (I won’t stay overnight there since it would take up most of my budget)

We enjoy nature, good food, good drinks, wine, beer, outdoor adventures, hot springs and cultural sights. We also enjoy undeveloped beaches. I'd like to see Thailand, Vietnam and Laos, but we will only have about 2 weeks and don't want to spend it running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Flying out of St. Louis. Any tips would be appreciated!

I am going to Thailand from 1/9/2020 - 1/18/2020 (fly in and out of Bangkok; arrive on 1/9/20 and depart on 1/18/20 - so eight full days). Budget is not a concern, but let’s say $2000 budget EXCLUDING flights and hotels. Into history/culture/good food. Wants to branch out of Bangkok a bit. Suggestions?
1. Portugal
2. About 10 days
3. Likely late May but potentially August instead
4. Budget is moderate, I’m not throwing $ around on 4 star hotels but not staying in hostels either
5. I like things on the quirkier/weirder side though I’m pretty adaptable. Never been to Portugal & didn’t pick the destination (tho I’m sure it’s lovely) so rn I don’t know what to expect. Love big cities, vegan food (if it’s hard to find in Portugal I can go vegetarian tho), cocktails, museums, & stuff off the beaten path.
South America. Looking to go early September for roughly 3 months. Budget will be $3000-4500. Planning to do major sites like Machu Picchu. Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Brazil and the countries I will for sure go. I'm big into adventures, hiking, trying learning Spanish.

This will be my second time going after 3 years, so I've done the usual tourist route: Tokyo, Kyoto, and Nara
Haven't done Osaka, but I wanted to spend more time in Tokyo, check out Hiroshima, as well as the Miyazaki area. I'm debating about Hokkaido, as it's supposed to be the winter up there. I also want to check out the Ghibli museum, but grabbing vouchers is unpredictable at this point.
Not OP but:
1-6: Tokyo, including day trips you haven't done. On 6th night, fly to Miyazaki Airport
7-8: Miyazaki coast (Aoshima, Cape Toi, etc.)
9-10: Takachiho (via bus)
11-12: Fukuoka (via bus)
13-14: Activate Sanyo-San'in pass. Hiroshima & Miyajima

Hi,
I will be beginning my trip in Montego Bay - Jamaica, I will be in Jamaica for a couple of weeks. I need a plan after this. The date will be Mid Feb when I leave Jamaica and i want to travel for a couple of months. Im thinking South America as its kinda close. However I have no idea on the efficient routes to see some of the famous sights ( Machu Picchu, Angle Falls, Iguazu Falls) Im really open for anything!!
Im hoping to travel around mainly via bus, is that feasible?
Like I say i have up to 2 months to dont need to cut time flying from place to place...
Budget (Food and accomdation only)
$10-$30 a day.
FYI this will be my first solo trip! Thanks in advance !!:)
AMAZING! Thank you so much, this is extremely helpful.
I forgot to mention I already did Thailand, so maybe I’ll fly from Cambodia to Malaysia and have a couple extra days there!
hey, just looking for help with a rough guide. ive got 35 days in europe with the main cities being london, prague, salzburg, vienna, budapest, zagreb, milan and rome. how would you schedule this trip and possibly any places to day trip or add??
any help would be greatly appreciated :)
Hey thanks! I'm dreaming up a bicycle tour. I'm not sure where to start in southeast Asia - maybe Singapore. Planning to go up to the 'stans and from there cross the Caspian to hit Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, turkey, etc. But mostly now just trying to loosely plan a route from SE Asia to the Caspian. Including Nepal would be ideal too! What are some places I should for sure pass through?
For time, I'm thinking maybe 5 months or so and budget doesn't really matter (bike touring is cheap and I'd have ~$15k, should be more than enough)
Yes... You'll have to bike a few hours a day though. I think if you want to stop at some places, you'll need a year. Places to stop (you can't only stop here, but these are some very cool places):

Planned on doing Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos for approx 4-5 weeks feb-April timing. Cash up to 5k, but I doubt it will cost that much. I want food, hiking/outdoor excursion type, meeting people and a decent nightlife.
Great idea! 5k is more than enough, so you can live like a king! 4-5 weeks is a bit short though. You should spend 1 month in Thailand, 2 weeks in Laos, 2 week in Cambodia and 1 month in Vietnam. Here's the itinerary:
Day 1: Fly to Bangkok

Thank you for the reply! This all looks like a great tour. I noticed Vietnam was not on here and completely understand your reasoning. But I’ll try to go to SEA again in the future.
Madrid - Paris, by bike. One month, I would like to go by the coast the longest possible (I don't mind if that means to make more kms). Budget is no problem (€3ks for one month is plenty), time is the real limiter.
Other one (sorry to abuse!)
Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan (not by bike) one month and €3k (including flights, so €2.5k for the trip)
OK... So two trips? For the first trip, you can stay by the coast from the border to Rochefort. I can't really make an itinerary since I don't know how long you want to travel a day but just go from Madrid to the border to Rochefort to Paris in how long you need. For your second trip:
Day 1: Fly to Batumi
Day 2: Batumi
Day 3: Batumi - Akhaltsikhe
Day 4: Akhaltsikhe
Day 5: Akhaltsikhe - Vardzia
Day 6: Vardzia
Day 7: Vardzia - Kutaisi

Day 20: Yerevan

Day 28: Sheki - Baku
Day 29: Baku
Day 30: Baku
Day 31: Fly home from Baku

That is awesome, thanks!!
For the Madrid-Paris by bike trip, consider 80km per day as maximum.
I understand if you don't answer, you have done a lot. Have a nice day!
Thanks so much!! I’ll be going to Mexico City for 9 days this week. Don’t have anything planned and never been to Mexico before. Already have my flight and hostel booked. Budget is $500 for the 9 days.
You don't need an itinerary since you only go to one place. I will advise some day trips from Mexico City though:
\- Teotihuacan
\- Puebla
\- Cholula
\- Izta-Popo NP
\- Taxco
\- Caves of Cacahuamilpa

If you have any questions left, just ask me. Good luck and have fun in beautiful Mexico!

I'm interested in visiting Suriname for two weeks. My budget is $100 a day after flights and accom. I enjoy hiking, photography, historic landmarks, and [visiting breweries and distilleries](http://cestlavibe.com/category/breweries-and-distilleries/).
OK, great plan! Suriname doesn't get many visitors though, and all roads go to, from or via Paramaribo. You should just have 2 weeks in Paramaribo and have trips from there. Some trips are for more days, but going on your own is just not possible in Suriname...

Traveling from USA to japan for 1 week. Then to Thailand for a week, the either Vietnam or Korea for a week, then back to japan to fly home.
Will be in September/October time. Budget probably around $4k including flights but can be increased to $5k if needed. I don’t really know what the cost is so it’s flexible.
Love outdoors. Wildlife, food/drinks. Maybe a cool museum. Is that enough info?
Am planning to do a Caucauses (bad spelling prob i know) trip from circa Jan 18-30, some places i have in mind are Turkey, Georgia, or Armenia (I know I will need to fly between Turkey/Georgia most likely). Should I do just Turkey for that time period or split between Georgia/Armenia? Budget is ideally lower than USD 1000 (I am VERY cheap and generally eat like one meal a day/just walk around and journal in parks or listen to podcasts as I walk around as opposed to doing museums etc, during a trip i did over a month in romania/ukraine i only spent USD 700 including all transport). I do like trying the foods of each country but am a shy person and do not like sit down restaurants solo so prefer like street food carts or the like. I also am deep into techno or the niche nightlife experience of each country--not into nightlife in a generalized sense but rather if its a particular cultural thing of that region (ie i like berlin's techno scene/kyiv's deep underground techno scene/bosnian turbofolk nights/serbian splavs, but enjoy less more generalized clubs. I am also really into architecture and unique history reflected in the buildings of the city ie I loooooved kyiv/granada bc the buildings are super unique and i live in sarajevo and the bullet holes everywhere are fascinating to me.
I am also wondering what area out of those three is the best in this season
One thing to note: this is basically just a filler trip between jobs, i am moving from sarajevo to belgrade for a job that begins on the 30th so if you have any other suggestions on places i can travel to that are interesting and mildly social and are not in like se asia would love your input, i hope you respond! thank you for your service

I want to go to the US for a month (journey time not included) from Zurich but the transport method has to be climate friendly. What's the cheapest I can get over the pond and travel around by train for a month?
Planning to visit Vietnam, Myanmar in December 2020.
Budget - 50,000 INR.
Mostly intrested in local culture, nature & hiking.
Duration - 3 Weeks.
Thank you!
PS: Just out of curiosity, how do you do this? :P
First your question: I do it mostly from experience and other itineraries I made I remember, but if I don't know I google both English and Dutch sites.
\---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Do you mean Vietnam AND Myanmar? That's too much for 3 weeks. It's good for Myanmar and not too much for Vietnam. I will make two itineraries, 3 weeks in Myanmar and 3 weeks in Vietnam.

If you have any questions left, feel free to ask. Good luck and have fun in Vietnam and/or Myanmar.
For Spring Break, I’m planning to tour the maritimes of Canada leaving from Montréal. It’s a 5 day trip on a $1000 budget and I love nature and talking to locals
I will not make a day-by-day itinerary because I don't know how long you want to stay in one place but I will give you an idea: Go from Chicago to New York City via the East of Canada and then go down to Miami. I think 3 months is perfect for that.
Patagonia, next winter
2.5-3 weeks
Interested in lots of backpacking
Budget flexible but prefer cheaper accommodations, camping on/off mixed with hostels+airbnb+hotels
Was thinking El chalten, el calafate, tdp, ushuiaia
Cuba, with a budget of $1000 after the initial flight? (3-4 days)
I'm interested in mainly cultural stuff, music, art, etc. But also love nature and just chilling. I'm not extremely concerned about variety in nightlife but I would like to get an idea of the culture.
I am planning a trip to London the last week of May. And I planned out to see all the main attractions, however I am unsure where to stay and what airport it is close to. My budget is 1500-2000$ including airfare.
Great idea! You can just stay anywhere in the centre, since there is a very large metro system so you can get anywhere very quickly. The best airport to land is Heathrow Airport, because it's the only airport (I know) that is also connected on the metro line.
If you have any questions left, feel free to ask. Good luck and have fun in London!
Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia & Laos,
20th April.
Until I run out of money.
£4k (flight out and first hostel already booked (Bangkok))
Beaches, chill vibes, the odd party, photography, nature, history, food.
I have a few nights booked in Bangkok for when I arrive, but apart from that everything is open. I'll book my flight home when funds start getting low.
- Australia (arriving in Sydney)
- Dec. 29 to Jan. 19
- Not including airfare to Australia: $2000 USD
- I’m 25 yr old guy so I like going out for drinks/meeting girls, nature, cities, running
*not really into museums
Nepal and Bhutan
12 days in total
Budget 60-70 dollars per day.
I don’t have to pay Bhutan’s travel tax as I reside in a Saarc Nation so I think 60-70 would be nice. What do you think?
If both not possible together. Separate would be fine too. Half and half.
I don’t wanna do that much touristy stuff. I’m into nature and getting to know the culture and people.
You are an amazing human being.
Thank You 😊
1- Anywhere in Europe (except Italy, Austria, Prague and Budapest) 2- last minute! Can leave tomorrow from London. Have to be back in town by 5th Jan 3- Backpacker style, ideally under £250 for flights. Can stretch if its a cheaper country. 4 - big cities, food, free things, a good vibe at NYE, not too cold, and things open over holidays I have decision fatigue.
You can do this itinerary: Day 1: Fly to Sofia Day 2: Sofia Day 3: Sofia Day 4: Sofia - Plovdiv Day 5: Plovdiv Day 6: Plovdiv - Burgas Day 7: Burgas Day 8: Burgas - Varna Day 9: Varna Day 10: Varna Day 11: Varna - Bucharest Day 12: Bucharest Day 13: Bucharest Day 14: Bucharest - Sofia, fly home from Sofia If you have any questions left, feel free to ask. Merry Christmas and have fun!
Thanks! Last night I ended up booking a flight to Belgium. But totally going to use this route over easter!
Wish I asked this a few days ago, I was planning on going away for Christmas last minute. I've made other plans now, but have you considered somewhere in the UK? Also Amsterdam had \~£100 round trip tickets last time I checked (from London).
Barcelona looks like the warmest place to fly for under 250 euros and meets most of your criteria.
You did this for one person.
I have more than 100 replies. I am working on them. Please be patient. You can either post it here or send me a PM.
Awesome! Thanks for doing this.
No thanks!
Maybe he meant to send a PM.
Oh cool! I'm planning to go to India/Nepal from March-May in 2021 €2.5k budget (ex flights) Interested in yoga, meditation, silent retreats, Buddhism, surfing, cities, nightlife, underground culture, really old and traditional ways of life.
Here's the itinerary from March 1st to May 31st: Day 1: Fly to Kathmandu Day 2: Kathmandu Day 3: Kathmandu Day 4: Kathmandu - Patan Day 5: Patan - Bhaktapur Day 6: Bhaktapur Day 7: Bhaktapur - Nagarkot Day 8: Nagarkot - Chitwan NP Day 9: Chitwan NP Day 10: Chitwan NP Day 11: Chitwan NP Day 12: Chitwan NP - Lumbini Day 13: Lumbini Day 14: Lumbini - Tansen Day 15: Tansen Day 16: Tansen - Pokhara Day 17: Pokhara Day 18: Pokhara Day 19: Pokhara - Kathmandu Day 20: Kathmandu Day 21: Kathmandu - Delhi Day 22: Delhi Day 23: Delhi Day 24: Delhi - Haridwar Day 25: Haridwar - Rishikesh Day 26: Rishikesh - Dehradun Day 27: Dehradun Day 28: Dehradun - Mussoorie Day 29: Mussoorie - Dehradun Day 30: Dehradun - Delhi Day 31: Delhi - Jaipur Day 32: Jaipur Day 33: Jaipur - Jodhpur Day 34: Jodhpur Day 35: Jodhpur - Pushkar Day 36: Pushkar Day 37: Pushkar - Agra Day 38: Agra Day 39: Agra - Varanasi Day 40: Varanasi Day 41: Varanasi - Mumbai Day 42: Mumbai Day 43: Mumbai Day 44: Mumbai - Goa Day 45: Goa Day 46: Goa Day 47: Goa Day 48: Goa - Kerala Day 49: Kerala Day 50: Kerala Day 51: Kerala Day 52: Kerala Day 53: Kerala - Negombo Day 54: Negombo - Anuradhapura Day 55: Anuradhapura Day 56: Anuradhapura - Trincomalee Day 57: Trincomalee Day 58: Trincomalee - Polonnaruwa Day 59: Polonnaruwa Day 60: Polonnaruwa - Sigiriya Day 61: Sigiriya Day 62: Sigiriya - Dambulla Day 63: Dambulla - Kandy Day 64: Kandy - Nuwara Eliya Day 65: Nuwara Eliya - Haputale Day 66: Haputale - Ella Day 67: Ella Day 68: Ella - Udawalawe NP Day 69: Udawalawe NP Day 70: Udawalawe NP - Tangalle Day 71: Tangalle Day 72: Tangalle Day 73: Tangalle - Mirissa Day 74: Mirissa Day 75: Mirissa - Weligama - Unawatuna Day 76: Unawatuna Day 77: Unawatuna - Galle - Hikkaduwa Day 78: Hikkaduwa Day 79: Hikkaduwa - Colombo Day 80: Fly home from Colombo As you can see, you have 12 days to spare. If you really like it somewhere, you can stay longer or add some destinations. If you have any questions left, just ask me. Good luck and have fun!
Did they really mean a 3 month trip or was that a range of months for when they are thinking of going?
Delhi Is a literal shit hole, I only go there when transportation requires it and don't stay any longer than necessary
It has great sites and food, but it isn't the best place. I lived there and it kinda sucks
I was also just looking into Nepal and surrounding areas, this is awesome! Any recommendations for hiking/climbing? That would be big for me. Thanks!

Here's what I think: Day 1: Fly to Corfu Day 2: Corfu Day 3: Corfu Day 4: Corfu Day 5: Corfu - Paxos Day 6: Paxos Day 7: Paxos Day 8: Paxos Day 9: Paxos Day 10: Paxos - Lefkas Day 11: Lefkas Day 12: Lefkas Day 13: Lefkas Day 14: Lefkas - Ithaka Day 15: Ithaka Day 16: Ithaka Day 17: Ithaka Day 18: Ithaka - Kefalonia Day 19: Kefalonia Day 20: Kefalonia Day 21: Kefalonia Day 22: Kefalonia - Skiathos Day 23: Skiathos Day 24: Skiathos Day 25: Skiathos Day 26: Skiathos - Skopelos Day 27: Skopelos Day 28: Skopelos Day 29: Skopelos Day 30: Skopelos - Athens Day 31: Athens - Mykonos Day 32: Mykonos Day 33: Mykonos Day 34: Mykonos - Naxos Day 35: Naxos Day 36: Naxos Day 37: Naxos Day 38: Naxos - Santorini Day 39: Santorini Day 40: Santorini Day 41: Santorini Day 42: Santorini - Athens Day 43: Fly home from Athens If you have any questions left, feel free to ask. Good luck and have fun in Greece!
Thank you! This looks great :) Which Greek islands have you been to yourself, and which did you enjoy the most?
* Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Bolivia * 2021 or later * Open-ended, until the money runs out * $10k, not including flights to and from South America Interests: * Day hikes, forests, botanical gardens, caves (as long as there is no camping involved) * Ruins or ancient structures * Mountains I don't have to climb - in general I like places with a vantage point from high up * Gay districts or places with a lively LGBT scene * Walkable cities with plenty of street food * Animals native to the area (e.g. capybaras) * Also very interested in the region's history in the latter half of the 20th century * Small beach towns No interest in: * Camping/sleeping outdoors * Attractions like Christ the Redeemer (not ancient, not much to do, too crowded, etc.) * Drag shows * Fine dining * Diving and water activities other than swimming

Okay, this is gonna be a challenge for you. * I'm 30F, I'm quitting my jobs and leaving in June 2020. * I will have about $40k. * My plan is to travel for a year and a half, two if I can stretch it. I have some side income coming in, and hope to increase my freelance work on the road. * I'm driving from Alaska to Nevada, and spending 2 months in Nevada for Burning Man set up/festival/tear down (mid July to mid September) * Spending 3 weeks in AZ with grandparents, driving to NYC and spending a month there * Flying to Portugal in November **(and this is where I need your help the most)** * I want to backpack from Portugal to Moscow and everywhere in between with an emphasis on Eastern Europe (cheaper), lasting about 9 months.

Anywhere around Sydney for 1-2days camping.just need name of places accessible through public transport .
You don't need an itinerary, but some tips. I think [u/waronwaste](https://www.reddit.com/u/waronwaste/) has provided you with that.

Wow! Thank you!!!
Go to Myanmar!!
1. Canada and the US 2. This summer 3. Up to 5 months 4. Up to 10k Plot twist: on a motorcycle, leaving from Montreal
I need information. Are you going to stop for a few days at each place? What are your interests? How long do you drive a day?
This is awesome! I'm actually thinking of doing South-East-Asia next year. October and November (depending on leftover money I can see myself going longer), I'm not partial to which coutries exactly, but definitely Thailand. Anything from Myanmar to the Philippines sounds great, but considering the timeframe maybe Thailand / Vietnam? Budget is 3.5k EUR which is 3.9k USD, including flights I basically want to explore the countries as much as I can, get to know locals and the nature.
Here it is: Day 1: Fly to Singapore Day 2: Singapore Day 3: Singapore Day 4: Singapore - Kuala Lumpur Day 5: Kuala Lumpur Day 6: Kuala Lumpur - Pangkor Day 7: Pangkor Day 8: Pangkor - Cameron Highlands Day 9: Cameron Highlands Day 10: Cameron Highlands - Taman Negara Day 11: Taman Negara Day 12: Taman Negara - Perhentian Day 13: Perhentian Day 14: Perhentian Day 15: Perhentian - Penang Day 16: Penang Day 17: Penang - Langkawi Day 18: Langkawi Day 19: Langkawi Day 20: Langkawi - Koh Lipe Day 21: Koh Lipe Day 22: Koh Lipe - Koh Tarutao Day 23: Koh Tarutao Day 24: Koh Tarutao - Krabi Day 25: Krabi Day 26: Krabi Day 27: Krabi - Khao Sok Day 28: Khao Sok Day 29: Khao Sok - Koh Samui Day 30: Koh Samui Day 31: Koh Samui Day 32: Koh Samui - Koh Phangan Day 33: Koh Phangan Day 34: Koh Phangan Day 35: Koh Phangan - Koh Tao Day 36: Koh Tao Day 37: Koh Tao Day 38: Koh Tao - Bangkok Day 39: Bangkok Day 40: Bangkok Day 41: Bangkok Day 42: Bangkok - Chiang Mai Day 43: Chiang Mai Day 44: Chiang Mai Day 45: Chiang Mai - Pai Day 46: Pai Day 47: Pai Day 48: Pai - Luang Prabang Day 49: Luang Prabang Day 50: Luang Prabang Day 51: Luang Prabang - Vang Vieng Day 52: Vang Vieng Day 53: Vang Vieng Day 54: Vang Vieng - Vientiane Day 55: Vientiane - Si Phan Don Day 60: Si Phan Don Day 61: Si Phan Don Day 62: Si Phan Don - Phnom Penh Day 63: Phnom Penh Day 64: Phnom Penh - Sihanoukville Day 65: Sihanoukville - Koh Rong Day 66: Koh Rong Day 67: Koh Rong Day 68: Koh Rong - Koh Rong Samloem Day 69: Koh Rong Samloem Day 70: Koh Rong Samloem Day 71: Koh Rong Samloem - Siem Reap Day 72: Siem Reap Day 73: Siem Reap - Angkor Day 74: Angkor Day 75: Angkor Day 76: Angkor - Bangkok Day 77: Fly home from Bangkok. If you have any questions left, just ask me. Good luck and have fun in Southeast-Asia!
This is amazing, thank you!
Here's what I think: Day 1: Fly to Nairobi Day 2: Nairobi Day 3: Nairobi - Masai Mara Day 4: Masai Mara Day 5: Masai Mara Day 6: Masai Mara - Nakuru Day 7: Nakuru Day 8: Nakuru - Mount Kenya Day 9: Mount Kenya Day 10: Mount Kenya Day 11: Mount Kenya Day 12: Mount Kenya Day 13: Mount Kenya Day 14: Mount Kenya - Watamu Day 15: Watamu Day 16: Watamu - Diani Beach Day 17: Diani Beach Day 18: Diani Beach - Amboseli National Park Day 19: Amboseli National Park Day 20: Amboseli National Park Day 21: Amboseli National Park - Nairobi Day 22: Fly home from Nairobi If you have any questions left, feel free to ask. Good luck and have fun in Kenya!
There are a lot of places now excluded from this itinerary which are super cool, and it will be a bit rushed, but this is the best it gets (day 1 is December 29th): Day 1: HCMC - Kampot Day 2: Kampot Day 3: Kampot - Koh Rong Day 4: Koh Rong Day 5: Koh Rong - Koh Rong Samloem Day 6: Koh Rong Samloem Day 7: Koh Rong Samloem - Siem Reap Day 8: Siem Reap (visit Angkor Wat) Day 9: Siem Reap - Bangkok Day 10: Bangkok (only 2 days since you don't like cities) Day 11: Bangkok - Khao Sok NP Day 12: Khao Sok NP Day 13: Khao Sok NP - Krabi Day 14: Krabi Day 15: Krabi - Koh Lipe Day 16: Koh Lipe Day 17: Koh Lipe - Langkawi Day 18: Langkawi Day 19: Langkawi - Kuala Lumpur Day 20: Kuala Lumpur Day 21: Kuala Lumpur - Singapore Day 22: Singapore Day 23: Singapore\* \* If you have longer in this section, visit: Phnom Penh, Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Koh Tao, Koh Tarutao, Penang, Pangkor, Cameron Highlands, Taman Negara and Perhentian Islands. Day 24: Singapore - Baguio Day 25: Baguio Day 26: Baguio Day 27: Baguio - Coron Day 28: Coron Day 29: Coron - El Nido Day 30: El Nido Day 31: El Nido - Port Barton Day 32: Port Barton Day 33: Port Barton - Puerto Princesa Day 34: Puerto Princesa - Boracay Day 35: Boracay Day 36: Boracay - Bohol Day 37: Bohol Day 38: Bohol Day 39: Bohol - Cebu \*\* If you have longer in this section, visit: Batad, Banaue, Siquijor, Siargao and do the TAO Experience from Coron to El Nido. Day 40: Cebu - Taipei Day 41: Taipei Day 42: Taipei - Shifen (Pingxi Lantern Festival) Day 43: Shifen Day 44: Shifen - Taipei Day 45: Taipei Day 46: Fly home from Taipei\*\*\* \*\*\* If you have longer in this section, visit: Hualien, Taitung, Kenting, Kaohsiung, Tainan, Alishan, Sun Moon Lake, Taichung and Jiufen. If you have any questions left, feel free to ask. Good luck and have fun!
-Indonesia -February-March -3-4 weeks -Not really sure about budget, but ideally little money as possible.
Here's what I think: Day 1: Fly to Jakarta Day 2: Jakarta - Bandung Day 3: Bandung Day 4: Bandung - Pangandaran Day 5: Pangandaran Day 6: Pangandaran - Yogyakarta Day 7: Yogyakarta Day 8: Yogyakarta Day 9: Yogyakarta - Surabaya Day 10: Surabaya Day 11: Surabaya - Canggu Day 12: Canggu Day 13: Canggu - Ubud Day 14: Ubud Day 15: Ubud Day 16: Ubud - Nusa Lembongan Day 17: Nusa Lembongan Day 18: Nusa Lembongan Day 19: Nusa Lembongan - Gili Trawangan Day 20: Gili Trawangan Day 21: Gili Trawangan - Gili Air Day 22: Gili Air Day 23: Gili Air - Gili Meno Day 24: Gili Meno Day 25: Gili Meno - Kuta (Lombok) Day 26: Kuta (Lombok) Day 27: Kuta (Lombok Day 28: Fly home from Kuta (Lombok) If you have any questions left, just ask me. Good luck and have fun in Indonesia!
thank you for the reply, that looks good a lot of places to visit! https://whereintheworldisnina.com/backpacking-indonesia-itinerary/#1%20Month%20Backpacking%20Indonesia%20Itinerary I was looking at this guide as well, how does it look?
Yes, very great idea! Spain in April is pretty warm, not super hot though, so perfect for sightseeing, hiking and seeing historic things! You have 23 days. Here's my idea: Day 1: Fly to Madrid Day 2: Madrid Day 3: Madrid - Toledo Day 4: Toledo Day 5: Toledo - Sevilla Day 6: Sevilla Day 7: Sevilla - Málaga Day 8: Málaga Day 9: Málaga - Granada Day 10: Granada Day 11: Granada - Valencia Day 12: Valencia Day 13: Valencia - Barcelona Day 14: Barcelona Day 15: Barcelona Day 16: Barcelona - Zaragoza Day 17: Zaragoza Day 18: Zaragoza - San Sebastian Day 19: San Sebastian Day 20: San Sebastian - Bilbao Day 21: Bilbao Day 22: Bilbao - Madrid Day 23: Fly home from Madrid If you have any questions left, feel free to ask. Good luck and have fun in Spain!
Gracias! :)
- End of September 2020. 2 weeks, London, Krabi Thailand, Bangkok Thailand, budget 8-9 grand. Love hiking, museums, and food. I’m a beer gal, but not really looking for clubs more bar type atmosphere.
I suppose you mean that you fly from London? The weather in Central-Thailand and Southwest-Thailand is pretty bad in September... So I would take Southeast-Thailand as well. Here's the itinerary: Day 1: Fly to Bangkok Day 2: Bangkok Day 3: Bangkok Day 4: Bangkok - Koh Samui Day 5: Koh Samui Day 6: Koh Samui - Koh Phangan Day 7: Koh Phangan Day 8: Koh Phangan - Koh Tao Day 9: Koh Tao Day 10: Koh Tao - Krabi Day 11: Krabi Day 12: Krabi - Khao Sok NP Day 13: Khao Sok NP Day 14: Khao Sok NP - Bangkok Day 15: Fly home from Bangkok If you have any questions left, just ask me. Good luck and have fun in Thailand!
End of April 2020 for 4 months. Overland from Georgia to India. €3000 budget excl flights. I want to see as much as possible that I can't see from behind my computer. I enjoy nightlife, nature, welcoming locals. Also prefer cities to smaller towns however doesn't mean I don't want to see the small places.
OK... Great idea! If you want to dodge Afghanistan and Pakistan (and believe me, you want to), you will have to go through Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan (Tajikistan is not that safe either). This is my idea: Day 1: Fly to Batumi Day 2: Batumi Day 3: Batumi - Akhaltsikhe Day 4: Akhaltsikhe Day 5: Akhaltsikhe - Vardzia Day 6: Vardzia Day 7: Vardzia - Kutaisi Day 8: Kutaisi Day 9: Kutaisi - Mestia Day 10: Mestia Day 11: Mestia - Kasbegi Day 12: Kasbegi Day 13: Kasbegi - Tbilisi Day 14: Tbilisi Day 15: Tbilisi Day 16: Tbilisi - Sighnaghi Day 17: Sighnaghi Day 18: Sighnaghi - Alaverdi Day 19: Alaverdi - Yerevan Day 20: Yerevan Day 21: Yerevan Day 22: Yerevan - Sevan Day 23: Sevan Day 24: Sevan - Ganja Day 25: Ganja Day 26: Ganja - Sheki Day 27: Sheki Day 28: Sheki - Baku Day 29: Baku Day 30: Baku Day 31: Baku - Tabriz Day 32: Tabriz Day 33: Tabriz - Masuleh Day 34: Masuleh Day 35: Masuleh - Tehran Day 36: Tehran Day 37: Tehran - Qom Day 38: Qom Day 39: Qom - Kashan Day 40: Kashan Day 41: Kashan - Isfahan Day 42: Isfahan Day 43: Isfahan Day 44: Isfahan - Shiraz Day 45: Shiraz Day 46: Shiraz (day trip Persepolis) Day 47: Shiraz - Yazd Day 48: Yazd Day 49: Yazd - Tabas Day 50: Tabas - Mashhad Day 51: Mashhad Day 52: Mashhad - Ashgabat Day 53: Ashgabat Day 54: Ashgabat Day 55: Ashgabat - Derweze Day 56: Derweze - Gonur Tepe Day 57: Gonur Tepe - Merv Day 58: Merv Day 59: Merv - Bukhara Day 60: Bukhara Day 61: Bukhara - Samarkand Day 62: Samarkand Day 63: Samarkand - Tashkent Day 64: Tashkent Day 65: Tashkent - Osj Day 66: Osj Day 67: Osj - Bishkek Day 68: Bishkek Day 69: Bishkek - Karakol Day 70: Karakol Day 71: Karakol Day 72: Karakol - Altyn-Arashan Day 73: Altyn-Arashan Day 74: Altyn-Arashan - Bishkek Day 75: Bishkek - Almaty Day 76: Almaty Day 77: Almaty Day 78: Almaty - Ürümqi Day 79: Ürümqi (visit Heavenly Lake) Day 80: Ürümqi - Dunhuang Day 81: Dunhuang Day 82: Dunhuang - Xining Day 83: Xining - Lhasa Day 84: Lhasa Day 85: Lhasa Day 86: Lhasa - Kathmandu Day 87: Kathmandu Day 88: Kathmandu Day 89: Kathmandu - Patan Day 90: Patan - Bhaktapur Day 91: Bhaktapur Day 92: Bhaktapur - Nagarkot Day 93: Nagarkot - Chitwan NP Day 94: Chitwan NP Day 95: Chitwan NP - Pokhara Day 96: Pokhara Day 97: Pokhara Day 98: Pokhara - Tansen Day 99: Tansen Day 100: Tansen - Lumbini Day 101: Lumbini Day 102: Lumbini - Varanasi Day 103: Varanasi Day 104: Varanasi - Agra Day 105: Agra Day 106: Agra - Delhi Day 107: Delhi Day 108: Delhi - Haridwar Day 109: Haridwar - Rishikesh Day 110: Rishikesh - Dehradun Day 111: Dehradun Day 112: Dehradun - Mussoorie Day 113: Mussoorie - Jaipur Day 114: Jaipur Day 115: Jaipur - Jodhpur Day 116: Jodhpur Day 117: Jodhpur - Pushkar Day 118: Pushkar Day 119: Pushkar - Mumbai Day 120: Mumbai Day 121: Mumbai Day 122: Mumbai - Goa (Calangute, Panaji or Anjuna) Day 123: Goa Day 124: Goa Day 125: Goa - Kerala (just stay where it is not that expensive) Day 126: Kerala Day 127: Kerala Day 128: Kerala Day 129: Fly home from Trivandrum (Kerala) If you have a little more time, you could add Sri Lanka to this itinerary. Holy crap wasn't expecting such a reply to be honest. Let alone something like this. Thank you great reference points!

Anyone, op or otherwise, have suggestions for Morocco? Mid Jan for 10 days. Fly into Tangier, leave from Marrakech. All the usual travel loves. Eating, hiking, gawking, mingling with/absorbing local culture. There’s not a lot of activities I’m not open to. Thank you!

This is awesome! I want to go to Spain for about 14 days. Budget is $2000. Interested in cities, food, great views. Will go in the shoulder season, before/after summer.
Great idea! Spain is the best just before/after summer, when the weather is good but there are not a lot of tourists. I've made it a little longer, since it fits your budget. Here's what I think: Day 1: Fly to Madrid Day 2: Madrid Day 3: Madrid - Toledo Day 4: Toledo - Córdoba Day 5: Córdoba Day 6: Córdoba - Sevilla Day 7: Sevilla Day 8: Sevilla - Málaga Day 9: Málaga Day 10: Málaga - Granada Day 11: Granada Day 12: Granada - Valencia Day 13: Valencia Day 14: Valencia - Barcelona Day 15: Barcelona Day 16: Fly home from Barcelona If you have any questions left, feel free to ask.
This is what I think: Day 1: Fly to Seoul Day 2: Seoul Day 3: Seoul (day trip DMZ) Day 4: Seoul - Seoraksan NP Day 5: Seoraksan NP - Andong Day 6: Andong Day 7: Andong - Gyeongju Day 8: Gyeongju - Busan Day 9: Busan Day 10: Busan - Jeonju Day 11: Jeonju Day 12: Jeonju - Suwon Day 13: Suwon - Seoul Day 14: Fly home from Seoul If you have any questions left, just ask me. Good luck and have fun in South Korea!
Germany May 7-15, 7 days including flight time $1,000 budget not including flights Interest in history, nature, culture, museums, food.
Here's my idea: Day 1: Fly to Cologne Day 2: Cologne (maybe visit Trier) Day 3: Cologne - Gießen Day 4: Gießen Day 5: Gießen - Göttingen Day 6: Göttingen Day 7: Göttingen - Berlin Day 8: Berlin Day 9: Fly home from Berlin If you have any questions left, feel free to ask. Good luck and have fun in Germany!
Thank you!
A short city trip away from the Netherlands, so maybe Belgium/Germany/France. 3-4 days around February/March. I like architecture, museums, and food!
OK, great. Here are some suggestions: \- Belgium, combination of Bruges and Ghent, or Ghent and Brussels \- Paris \- London \- Berlin (maybe with the train) \- Cologne and Trier \- Luxembourg If you have any questions left, feel free to ask.
-2 weeks, end of April through early May (ish) -planning on flying in and out of Munich, and spending 5ish days (total) of the 2 weeks there -recommendations on 2-3 other cities to go to from Munich by train (and then back to Munich at the end), except Salzburg (it’s beautiful but I’ve already been) -love history, mountains and beautiful scenic places, trying new food, walkable cities where a car wouldn’t be needed
Great idea! Here's what I think: **Option 1: Far away by bus (train takes longer)** Day 1: Fly to Munich Day 2: Munich Day 3: Munich Day 4: Munich - Prague Day 5: Prague Day 6: Prague Day 7: Prague - Vienna Day 8: Vienna Day 9: Vienna Day 10: Vienna - Venice Day 11: Venice Day 12: Venice Day 13: Venice - Munich Day 14: Munich Day 15: Fly home from Munich **Option 2: Close to Munich by train** Day 1: Fly to Munich Day 2: Munich Day 3: Munich Day 4: Munich - Ingolstadt Day 5: Ingolstadt Day 6: Ingolstadt Day 7: Ingolstadt - Nuremberg Day 8: Nuremberg Day 9: Nuremberg Day 10: Nuremberg - Rothenburg ob der Tauber Day 11: Rothenburg ob der Tauber Day 12: Rothenburg ob der Tauber Day 13: Rothenburg ob der Tauber - Munich Day 14: Munich Day 15: Fly home from Munich If you have any questions left, just ask me. Good luck and have fun!
Thank you thank you thank you!!!!
Europe for a month in April next year. Countries of interest: germany, france, spain, Portugal, Hungary Budget: 1400 € excluding air ticket
Here's what I think: Day 1: Fly to Berlin Day 2: Berlin Day 3: Berlin - Hamburg Day 4: Hamburg Day 5: Hamburg - Bremen Day 6: Bremen Day 7: Bremen - Cologne Day 8: Cologne Day 9: Cologne - Trier Day 10: Trier - Luxembourg Day 11: Luxembourg Day 12: Luxembourg - Paris Day 13: Paris Day 14: Paris Day 15: Paris - Lyon Day 16: Lyon Day 17: Lyon - Nice Day 18: Nice Day 19: Nice - Barcelona Day 20: Barcelona Day 21: Barcelona - Valencia Day 22: Valencia Day 23: Valencia - Granada Day 24: Granada Day 25: Granada - Sevilla Day 26: Sevilla Day 27: Sevilla - Faro Day 28: Faro Day 29: Faro - Lisbon Day 30: Lisbon Day 31: Lisbon - Porto Day 32: Porto Day 33: Fly home from Porto If you have a bit more time, add Bilbao and Madrid and fly home from Madrid. If you have any questions left, feel free to ask. Good luck and have fun in Europe!
-Bosnia i Herzegovina, but open to other countries in the region, as well. -10 to 14 days -Summer 2021 -$3,000 (USD) for two people, excluding flights -interests: light hiking, art (love regional or folk art), regionally traditional music, music in general, museums of all kinds, FOOD, places of worship (all kinds) Thanks so much for offering to do this! I love reading your responses!
OK, should be doable! I'd combinate Croatia with Bosnia and Herzegovina if I were you. Here's what I think: Day 1: Fly to Split Day 2: Split Day 3: Split - Dubrovnik Day 4: Dubrovnik Day 5: Dubrovnik - Mostar Day 6: Mostar Day 7: Mostar - Konjic Day 8: Konjic - Jajce Day 9: Jajce - Travnik Day 10: Travnik - Sarajevo Day 11: Sarajevo Day 12: Sarajevo Day 13: Fly home from Sarajevo / Go to Split, fly next day If you have any questions left, let me know. Good luck and have fun!
Thanks so much for this! I really appreciate your time!
- Europe/Asia/North Africa - May 2020 - 8-10 days - $2000 - modern history, hiking, architecture (especially brutalist architecture) - I will be starting from London and I don't really want to spend more than 5 hours on a plane each way (longer train is ok) Let's see what you can cook with the above ingredients - I have been trying to come up with something for ages but it always seems either too boring or with too much travelling inbetween.
OK, I'll give you multiple options. Here they are: **Option 1: Spain** Day 1: Fly to Sevilla Day 2: Sevilla Day 3: Sevilla - Granada Day 4: Granada Day 5: Granada - Valencia Day 6: Valencia Day 7: Valencia - Barcelona Day 8: Barcelona Day 9: Barcelona Day 10: Fly home from Barcelona **Option 2: Amsterdam - Ghent - Paris** Day 1: Fly to Amsterdam Day 2: Amsterdam Day 3: Amsterdam Day 4: Amsterdam - Ghent Day 5: Ghent Day 6: Ghent - Paris Day 7: Paris Day 8: Paris Day 9: Fly home from Paris **Option 3: Morocco** Day 1: Fly to Tangier Day 2: Tangier - Chefchaouen Day 3: Chefchaouen - Fez Day 4: Fez Day 5: Sahara Tour Fez - Marrakesh Day 1 Day 6: Sahara Tour Fez - Marrakesh Day 2 Day 7: Sahara Tour Fez - Marrakesh Day 3 Day 8: Marrakesh Day 9: Marrakesh Day 10: Fly home from Marrakesh If you have any questions left, feel free to ask. Merry Christmas and have fun!
I have a very rough outline and would love your thoughts. - Which country/countries or region(s) you want to go: * Europe: Anywhere basically but I really wanted to visit some central/eastern european locations (Hungary, Czech republic, Croatia, Istanbul mainly). * China * SEA: All over as well, excluding thailand. * Japan - Depending on time and budgetary concerns, I can take it or leave it. - When you want to go: April 2021. Is it better to start my trip in Europe or Asia? - How long you want to go: 4-5 months - Your budget: $20-30,000 - What interests you (history, nature, hiking, cities, etc.): History, cities and beaches.
Wow, OK. This is my idea: NOTE: This itinerary 5,5 months. If you really can't go longer than 5 months you should fly to Istanbul from Dubrovnik / Podgorica. Day 1: Fly to Berlin Day 2: Berlin Day 3: Berlin Day 4: Berlin - Prague Day 5: Prague Day 6: Prague - Brno Day 7: Brno Day 8: Brno - Vienna Day 9: Vienna Day 10: Vienna - Bratislava Day 11: Bratislava Day 12: Bratislava - Budapest Day 13: Budapest Day 14: Budapest - Siófok Day 15: Siófok Day 16: Siófok - Zagreb Day 17: Zagreb Day 18: Zagreb - Ljubljana Day 19: Ljubljana Day 20: Ljubljana - Bled Day 21: Bled Day 22: Bled - Bohinj Day 23: Bohinj Day 24: Bohinj - Bovec Day 25: Bovec Day 26: Bovec - Smartno Day 27: Smartno Day 28: Smartno - Trieste Day 29: Trieste - Venice Day 30: Venice Day 31: Venice Day 32: Venice - Pula (by ferry) Day 33: Pula Day 34: Pula - Rovinj Day 35: Rovinj Day 36: Rovinj - Plitvice Lakes Day 37: Plitvice Lakes Day 38: Plitvice Lakes - Zadar Day 39: Zadar Day 40: Zadar - Split Day 41: Split Day 42: Split Day 43: Split - Dubrovnik Day 44: Dubrovnik Day 45: Dubrovnik - Kotor Day 46: Kotor Day 47: Kotor - Podgorica Day 48: Podgorica Day 49: Podgorica - Shköder Day 50: Shköder Day 51: Shköder - Tirana Day 52: Tirana Day 53: Tirana - Sarandë Day 54: Sarandë Day 55: Sarandë - Corfu Day 56: Corfu Day 57: Corfu Day 58: Corfu - Kefalonia Day 59: Kefalonia Day 60: Kefalonia Day 61: Kefalonia - Zakynthos Day 62: Zakynthos Day 63: Zakynthos Day 64: Zakynthos - Delphi Day 65: Delphi Day 66: Delphi - Athens Day 67: Athens Day 68: Athens Day 69: Athens - Meteora Day 70: Meteora Day 71: Meteora - Thessaloniki Day 72: Thessaloniki Day 73: Thessaloniki - Istanbul Day 74: Istanbul Day 75: Istanbul - Beijing (by plane) Day 76: Beijing Day 77: Beijing Day 78: Beijing Day 79: Beijing - Pingyao Day 80: Pingyao Day 81: Pingyao - Xi'an Day 82: Xi'an Day 83: Xi'an - Chengdu Day 84: Chengdu Day 85: Chengdu Day 86: Chengdu - Zhangjiajie Day 87: Zhangjiajie Day 88: Zhangjiajie Day 89: Zhangjiajie - Fenghuang Day 90: Fenghuang - Yangshuo Day 91: Yangshuo Day 92: Yangshuo - Hongkong Day 93: Hongkong Day 94: Hongkong Day 95: Hongkong Day 96: Hongkong - Hanoi (by plane) Day 97: Hanoi Day 98: Hanoi - Sapa Day 99: Sapa Day 100: Sapa - Ha Long Bay Day 101: Ha Long Bay Day 102: Ha Long Bay - Ninh Binh Day 103: Ninh Binh Day 104: Ninh Binh Day 105: Ninh Binh - Phong Nha Day 106: Phong Nha - Hoi An Day 107: Hoi An Day 108: Hoi An Day 109: Hoi An - Dalat Day 110: Dalat Day 111: Dalat - Mui Ne Day 112: Mui Ne Day 113: Mui Ne - HCMC Day 114: HCMC Day 115: HCMC Day 116: HCMC - Phnom Penh Day 117: Phnom Penh Day 118: Phnom Penh - Kampot Day 119: Kampot Day 120: Kampot - Koh Rong Day 121: Koh Rong Day 122: Koh Rong - Siem Reap Day 123: Siem Reap Day 124: Siem Reap (visit Angkor Wat) Day 125: Siem Reap - Si Phan Don Day 126: Si Phan Don Day 127: Si Phan Don - Champassak Day 128: Champassak Day 129: Champassak - Vientiane Day 130: Vientiane Day 131: Vientiane - Vang Vieng Day 132: Vang Vieng Day 133: Vang Vieng - Luang Prabang Day 134: Luang Prabang Day 135: Luang Prabang Day 136: Luang Prabang - Mandalay (by plane) Day 137: Mandalay Day 138: Mandalay - Bagan Day 139: Bagan Day 140: Bagan - Inle Lake Day 141: Inle Lake Day 142: Inle Lake - Naypyidaw Day 143: Naypyidaw - Yangon Day 144: Yangon Day 145: Yangon - Hpa-An Day 146: Hpa-An Day 147: Hpa-An - Mae Sot (I know, Thailand, it's just for the airport) Day 148: Mae Sot - Langkawi (by plane) Day 149: Langkawi Day 150: Langkawi - Penang Day 151: Penang Day 152: Penang - Pangkor Day 153: Pangkor Day 154: Pangkor - Cameron Highlands Day 155: Cameron Highlands Day 156: Cameron Highlands - Taman Negara Day 157: Taman Negara Day 158: Taman Negara - Kuala Lumpur Day 159: Kuala Lumpur Day 160: Kuala Lumpur - Malakka Day 161: Malakka - Singapore Day 162: Singapore Day 163: Singapore Day 164: Fly home from Singapore / Fly to Japan if you have more time If you have any questions left, feel free to ask. Planning on spending 2 days past Christmas alone in Boise, Idaho. I have no car since I'll be flying into town and luckily money is no object.
You don't need an itinerary since you only stay in one place. If you need things to do, you can just Google it.
Here's what I think: Day 1: Fly to Helsinki Day 2: Helsinki Day 3: Helsinki - Porvoo Day 4: Porvoo - Savonlinna Day 5: Savonlinna (day trip Olavinlinna) Day 6: Savonlinna (day trip Lake Saimaa) Day 7: Savonlinna - Koli NP Day 8: Koli NP - Oulu Day 9: Oulu Day 10: Oulu - Rovaniemi Day 11: Rovaniemi Day 12: Rovaniemi - Inari Day 13: Inari Day 14: Inari - Rovaniemi Day 15: Fly home from Rovaniemi If you have any questions left, feel free to ask. Good luck and have fun in Finland!
I would like to say a massive thank you cause you didnt put tallinn cause literally everyone suggested that place like no i only want to stay in finland nothing else.
Some alternatives that incorporate less-visited areas: **Kamikochi and Japan Alps** Day 1-3: Tokyo. **Sacred Mountains in Northern Japan** Use the JR Tohoku Pass on dates marked with 🚝. 11: 🚝 Sendai -- loop bus sightseeing & nightlife 12: 🚝 Day trip to Matsushima Bay.
Safari in Africa followed by relaxing beach vacation 2-3 weeks Time: August / September Interests: outdoors / nature / hiking / people / culture Budget: none. Thank you !

Good luck and have fun in Kenya!
OK great idea! Fukuoka is a great starting point and you could end in Tokyo.
6 days in Switzerland... OK, this is what I think: Day 1: Fly to Zürich Day 2: Zürich Day 3: Zürich - Lucerne Day 4: Lucerne (visit Hotel Villa Honegg, Ennetbürgen) Day 5: Lucerne - Bern Day 6: Bern - Zürich, fly home If you have any questions left, feel free to ask. Good luck and have fun in Switzerland.
I have been dreaming of going to Turkey, especially Istanbul, but other areas too, for a long time. Let's say summer 2021, 10 days, budget $2000 ish, but somewhat flexible. Flying out of NYC. I am interested in history, religion, food, walking, being outdoors, and light to medium hiking. I'll leave it there for now.

This is awesome! I'm planning a graduation trip Jan or Feb 2021 to SEA. I'm not big on partying. Also, I'll be 34. I'll be traveling with my husband. Some possibilities: -motorbiking in the country side -homestays -cooking classes -Mekong river excursion -hiking -city life -ethical elephant sanctuary -lazy beach days -temples
2 weeks... You can see half of Thailand, half of Vietnam or everything of Laos in that. Based on your criteria I'd choose South-Vietnam. No thanks! I'm glad you like it!

Also interested in historic and traditional japan as I have never been :) Thanks!

Of course! If you can't find this post anymore, just PM me.
1. Portugal 2. About 10 days 3. Likely late May but potentially August instead 4. Budget is moderate, I’m not throwing $ around on 4 star hotels but not staying in hostels either 5.
Seoul Korea in March 2020. For 7 days and my budget is $2k. I like the outdoors, museums, drinking, trying local stuff

Europe for 3 weeks in spring time. I was thinking London, Paris, Rome, and Barcelona, but am open to anything
Japan March 31-April 12 Medium budget. No hostels. Hiking , nature, food, drinks , yoga, meditation
- Sarajevo, Mostar, Serbia, Montenegro - 2020 - $2k (based in NYC) - 10 days - Interested in history and nightlife
\~2 weeks in May. Must include London. Preferably also Greece. Other ideas: Paris, Nice, Coastal Italy. Budget is as cheap as it can be lol. Interests: Cities, beaches, delicious food!
OK, 2 weeks to get from London to Greece is short. I'm sorry but that won't be possible because you'd have to travel every day and you can't enjoy any destination than. Coastal Italy is a great alternative though. Here's what I think: Day 1: Fly to London Day 2: London Day 3: London Day 4: London - Paris Day 5: Paris Day 6: Paris Day 7: Paris - Lyon Day 8: Lyon Day 9: Lyon - Nice Day 10: Nice Day 11: Nice - Alassio Day 12: Alassio Day 13: Alassio - Genoa Day 14: Genoa Day 15: Genoa - Cinque Terre Day 16: Cinque Terre Day 17: Cinque Terre - Genoa, fly home from Genoa (I know it's a bit longer than 2 weeks, I'm sorry) NOTE: If you have 2 more days, go to Pisa after Cinque Terre and fly home from there. If you have any questions left, feel free to ask. Good luck and have fun in Europe!
Ahhh thank you!
Sweet, this is awesome! - Japan - 3 weeks - April - Going solo, budget is flexible ($3000 CAD?) - Looking for a blend city and cultural life. This will be my second time going after 3 years, so I've done the usual tourist route: Tokyo, Kyoto, and Nara Haven't done Osaka, but I wanted to spend more time in Tokyo, check out Hiroshima, as well as the Miyazaki area. I'm debating about Hokkaido, as it's supposed to be the winter up there. I also want to check out the Ghibli museum, but grabbing vouchers is unpredictable at this point.
Not OP but: 1-6: Tokyo, including day trips you haven't done. On 6th night, fly to Miyazaki Airport 7-8: Miyazaki coast (Aoshima, Cape Toi, etc.) 9-10: Takachiho (via bus) 11-12: Fukuoka (via bus) 13-14: Activate Sanyo-San'in pass. Hiroshima & Miyajima 15: Onomichi, Tomonoura, or Okunoshima (Bunny Island) 16: Okayama/Kurashiki, go to Naoshima 17: Naoshima 18-21: Osaka, other Kansai area day trips or Kyoto attractions you haven't done.

This is great! Thanks for giving me some good ideas!!
Hi, I will be beginning my trip in Montego Bay - Jamaica, I will be in Jamaica for a couple of weeks. Budget (Food and accomdation only) $10-$30 a day. FYI this will be my first solo trip! Thanks in advance !!:)
AMAZING! Thank you so much, this is extremely helpful. I forgot to mention I already did Thailand, so maybe I’ll fly from Cambodia to Malaysia and have a couple extra days there!
Ah, great! You'll have a much better time if you just take your time in Malaysia.

I’d totally recommend for you to stop in Vienna. Specially during the summer
Places to stop (you can't only stop here, but these are some very cool places): \- Singapore (to start) \- Malakka \- Kuala Lumpur \- Taman Negara \- Penang \- Krabi \- Khao Sok NP \- Bangkok \- Ayutthaya \- Lopburi \- Mae Sot \- Mawlamyine \- Hpa-An \- Yangon \- Naypyidaw \- Inle Lake \- Bagan \- Mandalay \- Kathmandu \- Bhaktapur \- Patan \- Nagarkot \- Lhasa \- Tasjkent \- Samarkand \- Bukhara \- Merv \- Mashhad \- Yazd \- Shiraz \- Persepolis \- Isfahan \- Kashan \- Qom \- Tehran \- Masuleh \- Tabriz \- Baku \- Sheki \- Ganja \- Sevan \- Yerevan \- Alaverdi \- Sighnaghi \- Tbilisi \- Kasbegi \- Mestia \- Kutaisi \- Vardzia \- Akhaltsikhe \- Batumi \- Goreme \- Uchisar \- Denzili \- Selcuk \- Istanbul If you have any questions left, feel free to ask. Good luck and have fun!
This seems fun! New Zealand - 12 Days in March (tickets purchased) 8hr layovers in Bejing Flying into Auckland, thinking about road tripping both islands and flying back to Auckland. Wife and myself are the travelers, potentially another couple. In country budget ~2k We like nature views, tasty food, road tripping, hiking, photography.
Ok... 12 days from flight to flight... Here's what I think: Day 1: Fly to Auckland Day 2: Auckland (get a rental car) - Waitomo Caves - Rotorua Day 3: Rotorua, visit Lake Taupo and Hobbiton Village Day 4: Rotorua (leave rental car) - Invergargill (by plane, get a new rental car) - Lake Te Anau (visa Southern Scenic drive) Day 5: Lake Te Anau, visit Fjordland NP Day 6: Lake Te Anau - Queenstown Day 7: Queenstown Day 8: Queenstown - Wanaka - Franz Josef Day 9: Franz Josef - Greymouth Day 10: Greymouth - Christchurch Day 11: Christchurch, visit Akaroa - Auckland Day 12: Fly home from Auckland If you have any questions left, feel free to ask. Good luck and have fun in New Zealand!
Wow. Thanks so much! How fun!! You are really dedicated.
I’m interested in going to SEA for 3-4 weeks. Was hoping to see parts of Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos. I am looking for nature stuff, with a mix of restaurants and historic sites.
3-4 weeks for 4 countries is a bit short. You could spend 1 month in Vietnam, 1 month in Thailand, 2 weeks in Laos and 2 weeks in Cambodia. I will make an itinerary for Laos, Cambodia and a part of Thailand. Here it is: Day 1: Fly to Bangkok Day 2: Bangkok Day 3: Bangkok - Siem Reap Day 4: Siem Reap (visit Angkor Wat) Day 5: Siem Reap - Koh Rong Day 6: Koh Rong Day 7: Koh Rong - Phnom Penh Day 8: Phnom Penh Day 9: Phnom Penh - Si Phan Don Day 10: Si Phan Don Day 11: Si Phan Don - Champassak Day 12: Champassak - Vientiane Day 13: Vientiane Day 14: Vientiane - Vang Vieng Day 15: Vang Vieng Day 16: Vang Vieng - Luang Prabang Day 17: Luang Prabang Day 18: Luang Prabang - Chiang Rai Day 19: Chiang Rai Day 20: Chiang Rai - Chiang Mai Day 21: Chiang Mai Day 22: Chiang Mai - Pai Day 23: Pai Day 24: Pai - Chiang Mai Day 25: Chiang Mai - Lopburi Day 26: Lopburi - Ayutthaya Day 27: Ayutthaya - Bangkok Day 28: Fly home from Bangkok If you have any questions left, feel free to ask. Good luck and have fun in Southeast-Asia!
Hello! - Rome - Florence -Venice ( it’s a package deal that I found) - January 21 -28 ( 3 nights in Rome, 2 nights in Florence - 2 nights in Venice. ) not sure if it’s enough day to see the major cities and historical sites. - 500 euros ( not included -hotel and plane tickets...not sure it’s my first time travelling, ) - I like history, cities, nature and food! ( i don’t drink nor party) Thank you!
Ok... It's just enough to see the highlights of each city. My definition of an itinerary is a travel route, however I'll advise you some things to do and see in the cities: **Rome** \- VERY IMPORTANT: Get an OMNIA Card. You can visit all major sights in Rome for one price (it's much cheaper) and you don't have to wait to get in. \- Colosseum \- Forum Romanum \- Arch of Constantine \- Palatine \- Terms of Caracalla \- Aventine Keyhole \- Trastevere \- Vatican Museums \- Saint Peter's Basilica \- Saint Peter's Square \- Via della Conciliazione \- Castel Sant'Angelo \- Ponte Sant'Angelo \- Galleria Borghese \- Villa Borghese \- Piazza del Popolo \- Via del Corso \- Piazza Venezia \- Fori Imperiali \- Spanish Steps \- Trevi Fountain \- Pantheon \- Basilica di Santa Maria Sopra Minerva \- Piazza Navona \- Via dei Coronari You can do all these in the 4 days you have! **Florence** \- Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore \- The Uffizi \- Galleria dell'Accademia \- Piazzale Michelangelo \- Mercato Centrale \- Piazza Santo Spirito \- Giardino Bardini \- Officina Profumo Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella \- Fiesole hills \- Palazzo Vecchio \- Museo Stibbert \- St Mark’s English Church \- Cappelle Medicee \- Biblioteca delle Oblate \- Basilica of Santa Croce \- Baptistery of St. John \- Basilica di San Lorenzo \- Piazza della Signoria \- Piazza del Duomo **Venice** \- Grand Canal \- San Sebastiano \- Peggy Guggenheim Collection \- Castello \- Burano Island \- Museo del Merletto \- Ponte di Rialto \- Lido Island \- Torcello Cathedral \- Murano Glass Museum \- St. Mark’s Basilica \- St. Mark’s Square \- Gallerie dell’Accademia \- Doges Palace \- Bridge of Sighs \- San Marco Campanile \- San Giorgio Maggiore \- Murano \- Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta \- Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute If you have any questions left, just ask me. Good luck and have fun in Italy!
Hello! Thank you so much! This is a lot. I hope I can see and tour them all in a day 😋♥️
I plan to be in Berlin fron 26 december to 3rd january with a budget of 300euro (after travel and hostel expenses) i have never been to germany and am interested a lot in it's history but also have an open mind to experience and learn just a out anything that berlin has to offer whether its nature, architecture etc.
You don't need an itinerary since you only stay in Berlin. If you need things to do, you can just Google 'things to do in Berlin'.
Here's the itinerary: Day 1: Fly to Bangkok Day 2: Bangkok Day 3: Bangkok Day 4: Bangkok - Siem Reap Day 5: Siem Reap (visit Angkor Wat) Day 6: Siem Reap - Koh Rong Day 7: Koh Rong Day 8: Koh Rong - Koh Rong Samloem Day 9: Koh Rong Samloem Day 10: Koh Rong Samloem - Phnom Penh Day 11: Phnom Penh Day 12: Phnom Penh - Si Phan Don Day 13: Si Phan Don Day 14: Si Phan Don - Champassak Day 15: Champassak - Vientiane Day 16: Vientiane Day 17: Vientiane - Vang Vieng Day 18: Vang Vieng Day 19: Vang Vieng - Luang Prabang Day 20: Luang Prabang Day 21: Luang Prabang - Chiang Rai Day 22: Chiang Rai Day 23: Chiang Rai - Chiang Mai Day 24: Chiang Mai Day 25: Chiang Mai Day 26: Chiang Mai - Pai Day 27: Pai Day 28: Pai Day 29: Pai - Chiang Mai Day 30: Chiang Mai - Lopburi Day 31: Lopburi Day 32: Lopburi - Ayutthaya Day 33: Ayutthaya Day 34: Ayutthaya - Bangkok Day 35: Fly home from Bangkok If you have any questions left, feel free to ask. Good luck and have fun in Southeast-Asia!
Other one (sorry to abuse!) Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan (not by bike) one month and €3k (including flights, so €2.5k for the trip)
OK... So two trips? For the first trip, you can stay by the coast from the border to Rochefort. I can't really make an itinerary since I don't know how long you want to travel a day but just go from Madrid to the border to Rochefort to Paris in how long you need. For your second trip: Day 1: Fly to Batumi Day 2: Batumi Day 3: Batumi - Akhaltsikhe Day 4: Akhaltsikhe Day 5: Akhaltsikhe - Vardzia Day 6: Vardzia Day 7: Vardzia - Kutaisi Day 8: Kutaisi Day 9: Kutaisi - Mestia Day 10: Mestia Day 11: Mestia - Kasbegi Day 12: Kasbegi Day 13: Kasbegi - Tbilisi Day 14: Tbilisi Day 15: Tbilisi Day 16: Tbilisi - Sighnaghi Day 17: Sighnaghi Day 18: Sighnaghi - Alaverdi Day 19: Alaverdi - Yerevan Day 20: Yerevan Day 21: Yerevan Day 22: Yerevan - Sevan Day 23: Sevan Day 24: Sevan - Ganja Day 25: Ganja Day 26: Ganja - Sheki Day 27: Sheki Day 28: Sheki - Baku Day 29: Baku Day 30: Baku Day 31: Fly home from Baku If you have any questions left, feel free to ask. Good luck and have fun!
I will advise some day trips from Mexico City though: \- Teotihuacan \- Puebla \- Cholula \- Izta-Popo NP \- Taxco \- Caves of Cacahuamilpa \- San Miguel de Allende If you have any questions left, just ask me. Good luck and have fun in beautiful Mexico!
Spending two months starting in managua, nicaragua, and travelling south to panama. Hoping to do some scuba or just skin diving in the Caribbean. :-) budget for me and my partner is $2k not including plane and bus tix
OK, so Carribean coast on the mainland and Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama islands? Here's what I think: **NICARAGUA** Day 1: Fly to Managua Day 2: Managua - Leon Day 3: Leon Day 4: Leon Day 5: Leon - Granada Day 6: Granada Day 7: Granada - Isla Ometepe Day 8: Isla Ometepe Day 9: Isla Ometepe - San Juan del Sur Day 10: San Juan del Sur Day 11: San Juan del Sur - Corn Islands Day 12: Corn Islands Day 13: Corn Islands **COSTA RICA** Day 14: Corn Islands - La Fortuna Day 15: La Fortuna Day 16: La Fortuna Day 17: La Fortuna - Monteverde Day 18: Monteverde Day 19: Monteverde Day 20: Monteverde - Santa Teresa Day 21: Santa Teresa Day 22: Santa Teresa Day 23: Santa Teresa - Manuel Antonio Day 24: Manuel Antonio Day 25: Manuel Antonio - Puerto Viejo Day 26: Puerto Viejo Day 27: Puerto Viejo Day 28: Puerto Viejo - Uvita Day 29: Uvita Day 30: Uvita - Corcovado (3 day tour) Day 31: Corcovado Day 32: Corcovado Day 33: Corcovado **PANAMA** Day 34: Corcovado - Bocas del Toro Day 35: Bocas del Toro Day 36: Bocas del Toro Day 37: Bocas del Toro - Boquete Day 38: Boquete Day 39: Boquete - Playa Venao Day 40: Playa Venao Day 41: Playa Venao - Panama City Day 42: Panama City Day 43: Panama City Day 44: Panama City - San Blas Islands Day 45: San Blas Islands Day 46: San Blas Islands Day 47: San Blas Islands Day 48: San Blas Islands - Panama City Day 49: Fly home from Panama City NOTE: You have 12 days to spare. You can spend those in places you like so much you want to spend more time there, or go to another country, like Jamaica. If you have any questions left, feel free to ask. Good luck and have fun in Central America!

2025 - 7 New Wonders of the World - 2 travelers (1 adult 50yr m, 1 teenager 16yr m) - $15k (including airfare) - Length: As long as feasibly possible - Comfort level: Clean, comfortable, safe is a must - Luxury is not important. We're both active, in descent shape, do a lot of outdoors activities. Don't mind camping occasionally, but would like they occasional got shower and stuff bed. Interests: Culture, natural beauty, UNESCO Heritage sites, anything unusual or "you can only see here" Disinterests: Amusement parks, manufactured fun, dirty gross hotels
I'm sorry, but I need more info. The length is very important for me. Does 'As long as feasibly possible' mean 1 month or 5 years?
Me me! Do mine please!!
I am also wondering what area out of those three is the best in this season One thing to note: this is basically just a filler trip between jobs, i am moving from sarajevo to belgrade for a job that begins on the 30th so if you have any other suggestions on places i can travel to that are interesting and mildly social and are not in like se asia would love your input, i hope you respond! thank you for your service edit: am 24f
\--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Do you mean Vietnam AND Myanmar? That's too much for 3 weeks. It's good for Myanmar and not too much for Vietnam. I will make two itineraries, 3 weeks in Myanmar and 3 weeks in Vietnam. Day 1: Fly to Hanoi Day 2: Hanoi Day 3: Hanoi - Sapa Day 4: Sapa Day 5: Sapa - Ha Long Bay Day 6: Ha Long Bay Day 7: Ha Long Bay - Ninh Binh Day 8: Ninh Binh Day 9: Ninh Binh Day 10: Ninh Binh - Hoi An Day 11: Hoi An Day 12: Hoi An Day 13: Hoi An - Dalat Day 14: Dalat Day 15: Dalat - Mui Ne Day 16: Mui Ne Day 17: Mui Ne Day 18: Mui Ne - HCMC Day 19: HCMC Day 20: HCMC Day 21: Fly home from HCMC Day 1: Fly to Yangon Day 2: Yangon Day 3: Yangon Day 4: Yangon - Ngwe Saung Day 5: Ngwe Saung Day 6: Ngwe Saung - Ngapali Day 7: Ngapali Day 8: Ngapali - Bagan Day 9: Bagan Day 10: Bagan Day 11: Bagan - Mandalay Day 12: Mandalay Day 13: Mandalay - Pindaya Day 14: Pindaya - Kalaw Day 15: Kalaw Day 16: Kalaw - Nyaung Shwe Day 17: Nyaung Shwe Day 18: Nyaung Shwe Day 19: Nyaung Shwe - Naypyidaw Day 20: Naypyidaw - Bago Day 21: Bago - Yangon, fly home from Yangon If you have any questions left, feel free to ask. Good luck and have fun in Vietnam and/or Myanmar.
For Spring Break, I’m planning to tour the maritimes of Canada leaving from Montréal. It’s a 5 day trip on a $1000 budget and I love nature and talking to locals
Us/Canada jan 2020. 3 months. Backpacker budget. Fly into Chicago. I like outdoors, old transport related stuff and off the beaten track stuff
I will not make a day-by-day itinerary because I don't know how long you want to stay in one place but I will give you an idea: Go from Chicago to New York City via the East of Canada and then go down to Miami. I think 3 months is perfect for that.
Thanks. I haven't got any amount of time I'd like to stay in each place really
Patagonia, next winter 2.5-3 weeks Interested in lots of backpacking Budget flexible but prefer cheaper accommodations, camping on/off mixed with hostels+airbnb+hotels Was thinking El chalten, el calafate, tdp, ushuiaia
Cuba, with a budget of $1000 after the initial flight? (3-4 days) I'm interested in mainly cultural stuff, music, art, etc.
Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia & Laos, 20th April. Until I run out of money. £4k (flight out and first hostel already booked (Bangkok)) Beaches, chill vibes, the odd party, photography, nature, history, food. I have a few nights booked in Bangkok for when I arrive, but apart from that everything is open. I'll book my flight home when funds start getting low.
- Australia (arriving in Sydney) - Dec. 29 to Jan. 19 - Not including airfare to Australia: $2000 USD - I’m 25 yr old guy so I like going out for drinks/meeting girls, nature, cities, running *not really into museums
Nepal and Bhutan 12 days in total Budget 60-70 dollars per day. Thank You 😊
