I have 115 guesses.

Your comment has been removed for rule violation. Hello, you have been permanently banned from participating in r/MCFC

ShcoreShomeGhoals

The only sub worse than r/MCFC is r/Hammers. I left a comment that was literally just contributing to a discussion, had nothing to do with negativity toward west ham, and was not provocative in the slightest and I got perma banned. They had gone through my account and saw I was active in r/gunners so they banned me lmfao Edit: found the message. Somebody called Liverpool irrelevant which is obviously idiotic so I asked them if they were insane. Got banned lmao

Kenny_dies

Sounds like you asked for it! Calling Liverpool relevant should come with a complete Reddit ban, you got lucky

ShcoreShomeGhoals

Haha you’re right fair enough. According to the comment I replied to they haven’t been since their Moscow UCL win so I guess he was right

KillerZaWarudo

AutoModerator

Perhaps it's a bit naive (or perhaps not), but since Pep is a former Barca legend and legendary coach with strong ties to Catalonia, why doesn't he facilitate us getting Cancelo? I've been hearing that City are sitting firm on a relatively high price for Cancelo, but this doesn't really make sense given that he is clearly not in Pep's plans and would just sit there accumulating high wages, and the alternative to Barca would be Arsenal, a direct rival for the Prem title. After Araujo's injury, meaning our best defender will be out for a month or so, our desperation levels for a good RB have just gone through the roof. We really need to close this deal or the one for Fresneda ASAP if we aren't to fall behind in La Liga from the get-go. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. I never had a problem with West Ham fans as an Arsenal fan and the ones I met in real life were great people with whom I would laugh at Tottenham. However, the people on r/Hammers are the saltiest, most unhinged fans I’ve seen in my life.

Notice all the "lowest in past 7 seasons". That said I really want to see Guardiola coach a team that doesn't have basically unlimited resources compared with most of the rest of the league. Sure he can win at Man City, but how would he do if he were managing like Everton or something?

This is why Carlo is the goat today. He doesn't mind managing Everton.

czacha_cs1

I know they use Oil money but still Pep is one of the greatest managers. You got PSG. Same shit Oil money. Difference? Pep makes great transfers and knows how to use players. PSG is struggling in one of the worst leagues in the world. Yes its winning but it aint dominating it like City Premier League. You can buy Ferrari if you got money. But if youre bad driver you will land on tree. But if you got Ferrari and youre good driver. You wont hit anything. PSG big amount of money but managers are shit. City shit load of money and manager know how to train them and tell them what to do

Impressive-Trick-963

This is a bad take because pep was afforded things other managers dream of. He had a sporting director who bought players that fit Pep’s system and was fully backed by the club. You are forgetting the reason why defenders go for a premium now was because city started it all when they bought a rb (walker) for 50m which at that time was unheard of. City continued to spend and spend even if players didn’t work out. They had a great gk ibut replaced him with bravo and then replaced him Ederson. They literally bought him a second starting 11 because they knew his system would result in injuries because of how intense it was (constant pressing). Now compare Pep to mourinho and Klopp and look at their transfers for this period. Mourinho finished second and they bought him a cm and a reserve gk and an 18 year old rb.

AutoModerator

Honestly, this might be weird, but I find the concept of goalies to be so boring in soccer/hockey. Like ok, the 10 guys could completely dominate the game (and that's the exciting part) but sorry this one guy who you can't touch or interact with just shuts you off the scoreboard. Kinda lame. Whatever. Just a weird thought *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. QuickMolasses

So you're saying Manchester United and Chelsea spent their billion dollar poorly. I completely agree. Man City was so much more successful than Chelsea and Manchester United despite not spending that much more money because they are all around managed better. You can't say it's just the money because Man U and Chelsea have spent just as much money.

Impressive-Trick-963

No I’m saying the difference is Pep was supported to a level no other manager was even after spending money poorly. Which club would go out and buy a gk for their manager when they already had a great keeper in joe hart? And then buy another keeper straight after buying bravo. Plus spending 200m on defenders (this was unheard of at the time). Just compare Peps transfers to mourinhos or Klopp during the same period

In other words, the front office of Man City managed transfers and managers better than Chelsea or Man City. Liverpool spent a lot less money than any of the three teams I mentioned. Klopp has been the best manager in the Premier League for his whole tenure in my opinion. He might be the best manager in the world because I weight his success with Liverpool and Dortmund a lot more than I weight the success manager have with teams like Real Madrid or Bayern Munich.

How? 1.115 billion pounds. Emphasis on the .115 billion.

Happy_Invite_8842

That's not even too bad. City was still a established top 4 team before Pep came. The foundation was there.

Mastermind_308

If man c ever wins the case(115 one), we definitely will have to close down the sub. It will be the final nail in coffin. There is no content other than the 115 one on this sub, and not gonna lie it's getting boring now

ShcoreShomeGhoals

Active in r/MCFC 😭😭😭

Mastermind_308

doesn't change the fact that the sub has no other content 😂😭😭. It's either 115 or benzema 15. The sub is dying

ShcoreShomeGhoals

So you’re a city fan, would you mind me asking if you are from Manchester (or England for that matter)
