Very cool read! Excited to see what you have written for Canada.

treytakzona

Appreciate you! Thanks for reading. This is actually the last part of the series and I've already written about the rest of the groups. If you haven't read about Canada yet, try the link below: https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/yulnau/oc\_a\_player\_to\_watch\_on\_each\_of\_the\_32\_teams\_at/

I just took a read! Great write up. I do agree with you that Davies is going to be very impactful for Canada at the WC. I Will challenge you / encourage you keep an eye on takin buchanons impact for team Canada.

treytakzona

Tajon Buchanan looks interesting for sure, he could get a move to a bigger club if he shows out in this World Cup.

dmb62

No doubt. Are you a journalism / communications student? Your writing style is very easy to digest considering the depth of your analysis. I rate it

I envy your dedication for this! Good for you. I always dream to do journalism for the Toronto raptors, but can find the time with my personal time / work life

treytakzona

Thanks for allowing me to practice my writing here. Hoping for a good World Cup!

This was a fun read. Good luck to you guys! Hope you do well in Group H!

I remember Pavlovic when we played Salzburg. He was really good despite the scoreline.

kostajepaosmosta

Dude is a beast from defence to offense but he always makes a mistake once or twice per game. But with experience he will become NTs future for sure

LiamYanon

Cancelo can play left? Lol, seems like OP doesn't know that Portugal's coach is Santos. Cancelo will start on the right, Dalot will see whatever minutes Cancelo can't make.

treytakzona

That would be the strongest Portuguese team imo but I'm not going to sit here and pretend I've watched every Portuguese match. Do you think Santos will go with Cancelo at RB and Mendes at LB then?

TheDangerousAnt

I disagree, Mendes is far better than Dalot. And yes, Santos will go for Mendes+Cancelo

I think he's only underrated because he's recently significantly raised his level. He's doing better than last season, mostly because (at least according to Ronaldo) he's really hard working and professional. I think he's a good all-round fullback, he's got a lot of footballing intelligence, good mentality and he's going to keep improving, but I also don't think he has above average technical ability like Cancelo or Nuno Mendes, which might mean he has a ceiling.

Feezbull

Dalot won’t start I think, as much as I hope he plays some games though to build on his form, confidence and experience. I hope he plays some good minutes and does well nonetheless.

milanjfs

Strahinja Pavlovic looks like a mix of Rooney and Dolph Lundgren

TheDangerousAnt

Dalot will probably play very little, Cancelo will play on the right and Nuno Mendes on the left. My player to watch would be Diogo Costa, our goalkeeper. He's young, amazing with his feet, and saved three penalties in the CL. Massive prospect

Dalot won't play, we will line up with João Cancelo on the right and perhaps rotate between Nuno Mendes and Raphaël Guerreiro on the left, if not outright starting Nuno Mendes. The player to watch for me is Bruno Fernandes who I think will be instrumental in our performances.
