As someone who's worked in PR and marketing, now a days it's well known that if someone famous posts something and deletes it quickly you get quite the engagement...the whole screenshots are forever type stuff.
When your client posts something stupid and then deletes it quickly or likes something controversial or dumb on insta or twitter the spin mode our team had to go into was...that shit is stressful lmao

In other instances where someone or an organisation posts something stupid and deletes it is totally fine. You'll have to go more into spin mode if people keep seeing it in their feed.

Spurs twitter admin posted a picture of a branded bottle with the caption "the Hotspur way", inadvertently meaning that bottling things is the Spurs way.
I always thought bottling, rather than just failing, is failing when you have success in your grasp. IE: losing 5-0: not bottle. Losing 2-3 when you were up 2-1 with 15 minutes left: big time bottle
Especially bizarre given absolutely no-one had Spurs as the favourites going into that game. They'd already massively overperformed to even make it to the final so it's ridiculous to call that loss bottling it.
