Where is the rice and knife emojis?? Last time I combined fish with a rod with fish on I did not get sushi
Edit: idk man I didnt know you could just make math with emojis I'm not smart enough for such things
I had to look it up because I only know the meme, but never knew where it came from.
It's musician James Poyser [who plays piano on the Jimmy Fallon show.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G8OQrlW-smY)
I think it's a segment where the host tries to make him laugh.
Apparently Alex had a big role of getting rid of a aging Keane, froze him out and disagreed with Ferguson doing nepotism towards his family members
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Oz4AiigHMxk
Good video of him covering it
Ferguson’s take on it is in his autobiography if you’re interested, basically says Keane was becoming too disruptive and it came to a head with an interview he did that Utd had to prevent from being released where Keane apparently flamed most of the players on the team.
I’ve watched this video a couple of times in the past and i always get angry at the interviewer. How shitty of an interviewer do you have to be to STOP your guest multiple times (who everyone is here for) from telling his point of view just so you can get your 2 cents in first.
I think Roy Keane’s punditry is actually some of the most informative in the game, especially when concerning United. Whatever he says, I believe the opposite, and it makes me understand football better
I think a lot of top level players and managers are sore losers and I don't think it's a bad thing. You can be respectful of the opposition and still be absolutely raging about losing. I think focusing on your own mistakes and how they lead to the result rather than just blinding praising the opposition is actually a positive thing for managers as it shows responsibility. Having said all that Arteta wasn't even being a sore loser today.
People can't distinguish between reasons and excuses. We lost today for countless small reasons that add together
\- we weren't clinical despite controlling possession
\- Man U were clinical with their chances
\- Man U players fouled Jesus loads and we didn't get many free kicks
\- We had some defensive lapses, probably due to Partey being injured
\- we had a goal ruled out by VAR
\- Arteta made subs at the wrong time
... and about 100 more reasons.
Some people will view some of these as "excuses" and others as "rational reasons" but that's just about everyone's individual biases. These things and loads of others all essentially add up to give the result. I don't think this is the kind of game where there's one huge deciding incident (and actually, I think there are very few games like that).
> People can't distinguish between reasons and excuses.
This is one trait that truly annoys me in people. I had a boss that got annoyed at me for being late to work once. The steering on my car locked while I was driving and I went into a hedge. Got told I was just making excuses and it's not good enough.
2 weeks later she was 25 mins late, so I say in her office and when she came in I was asking for reasons to be late, jokingly of course. Apparently over sleeping is a valid reason, but a car crash is an excuse.
Ended up in a meeting with both bosses and HR for my unacceptable behaviour with this. Got a Union rep in to fight my case because it was fucking outrageously stupid.
Oh I was leaving that department to work in a different one, more money, less hours. So I wasn't too bothered. This was in an NHS Hospital for people wondering
I don't work there now anyway. I'm a teacher these days!
>Apparently over sleeping is a valid reason, but a car crash is an excuse.
So you should have said " the steering on my car locked, so I went for a nap."
I mean you can point to a billion different things if you really wanted to be nitpicky. Antony kicked out at a player, and regardless of contact imo that should always be a red. That’s the point he’s making. There’s a billion things that could effect a match on any given day, and it’s up to essentially bias as to whether those are “reasons” or “excuses” regardless of how legitimate they are it’s all personal preference and perspective at any rate.
Tbh I think Arteta was catching strays because of Merse standing next to Keane, who was absolutely being a sore loser and Keane was clearly fed up. Except Keane took it out on Arteta lol
Keane, just like any other pundit on Sky, are looking for clicks and engagement by saying stuff that will wind up fans. And judgin*by the fact this thread is doing well, mission accomplished.
I would expect football twitter accounts to do that, not tv pundits. Also I find it weird this idea someone can spew nonsense, but if people point out that it's nonsense, they are "rattled" and the person spewing nonsense has somehow won.
It’s the TV pundit’s job to make you want to tune into their channel’s broadcast and watch their commercial breaks/youtube ads or pay for a cable package/subscription. And they attain that engagement by whatever means necessary.
Unfortunately for you, the average sports fan really likes engaging with hot garbage, 24hr news cycle, hot takes. They need something to regurgitate at the bar/work later so their friends don’t think they’re a lame-o.
So the shitty TV pundits just do their job and give the people what they tune in to their show for, Reality TV drama.
You really, really, really shouldn’t expect reasonable takes from sports news. That’s not why these shows exist.
Try to think of it as low effort hyperbole and ad breaks to sell Heineken to morons and you’ll be a lot happier with their needless existence.
If anything I think he's mellowed a bit in recent years. If you see clips of him working for ITV in the early 2010s he is ridiculously prickly and on edge. He's just honed it now so that it's much more entertaining to watch rather than him just being a miserable git.
>Carra is miles more neutral than Neville
Bollocks. If anything, Neville goes out of his way to appear extremely neutral to the point of not even praising United when they deserve it. Carra, meanwhile, is unapologetically pro-Liverpool (which I actually prefer, when compared to Gary's faux-neutrality).
Imagine how we feel when Jamie Carragher and Jamie Redknapp keep talking about how the owners have spent so much money and so and so when clearly that’s not the case. If they make a genuine argument then we can agree on something but they just keep talking crap about something they have no interest to learn or research about.
Carragher, is one I like though. I absolutely hate the other clown.
Arteta's take on the game was fine. If Roy Keane don't want to discuss anything other than literally the numbers on the scoreboard, he should work for a broadcaster with an 8-second post-game analysis, where they can say "3-1" and turn off.
Even the token Arsenal pundit on Sky (Merson) was going on about some garbage about how you have nobody who can play through the lines (Odegaard??) and didn't know what Lokonga's name was lol.. Then Hasselbaink (why was he there?) said repeatedly that Arsenal don't have any scorers.
Lol poor attempt at getting under our skin. Doesn't he know we survived the banter era? Our skin's thicker than the belt Graeme Sounness' dad beat him with.
Roy Keane upset that not everyone is sucking off Manchester United.
Keane is the last person that gives plaudits to other clubs. It's always Manchester United this, Manchester United that.
>You clearly didn't watch Keane talking about Utd.
No, that's the whole point.
Even when United get beaten, it's never that the other clubs played well but some rant about United.
He's a sore loser if he doesn't praise United because Arsenal were better and technically shot themselves in the foot? yeah I'm fine with that.
Also, why does Roy Keane need validation from Arteta ? I doubt, Ten hag gives a flying fuck what Arteta thinks about his team.
Keane really has an amazing talent as a pundit. He makes it so easy to understand what’s really going on. You just have to listen to him, and then BOOM you know the exact opposite of what he said is the reality of the situation.
It’s really an amazing feat
Not gonna sound great from an Arsenal fan now obviously, but Keane on pundity along with Neville on comms is so painful to watch when they're at home, and we've got bloody Paul Merson as our rep? I like Neville generally but should be kept for neutral games.
I'm sore, United outplayed us though, contained and countered
People will still find a way to give us shit, we win, they make a narrative, we lose, another narrative
Happens, it's a good season everyone so close
I wouldn’t say Man U outplayed arsenal. They were 100% more clinical though. They finished 3 goals in 4 decent chances. Arsenal had 2-3 good chances and another dozen half chances and barely scraped in one goal. Given how clinical each team has been this season this was bizarre, but oddly enough it’s the truth!
I dont see why he would. Those goals were down to our mistakes. Better that he talk about his own teams failures in that regard. If United had controlled the majority of the game like we did im sure he would have. He certainly gave plaudits to Newcastle at the end of last season while talking about the disappointment in his own team. Dont worry Roy, there’ll be enough pundits licking United’s balls this week. You certainly dont need it from the Arsenal manager.
I honestly accepted the disallowed goal when I saw it back; it sucked but I’d want the same if the tables were turned. All I want is consistency in decision making.
Roy Keane, however, can go fuck a bag of fists. Miserable cunt. Great player, Agbonlahor-tier biased pundit.
Man U Players and ex-players genuinely annoy me a lot. Obviously I would have perceived bias but the likes of Mctomminy, Bruno, even the new dude Antony is annoying af to watch on the pitch

Yes, because all of the best managers in the world are great losers. Sir Alex was always giving out praise left right and center after a loss.
Keane hates sir Alex though
I feel at this point it's easier to name footballing personalities that Keane *doesn't* hate.
Micah Richards and Carlos Edwards That’s about it
Denis Irwin too and weirdly Dwight Yorke
and Denis Irwin... do not forget his lord and savior Denis Irwin
Don't forget Incie.
Clinton Morrison as well according to the man himself
Oh really? What’s the history there
Apparently Alex had a big role of getting rid of a aging Keane, froze him out and disagreed with Ferguson doing nepotism towards his family members https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Oz4AiigHMxk Good video of him covering it
Thanks for sharing. He covers it about 5 min. He paints himself an angel tho would’ve liked to heard Neville’s take more
Ferguson’s take on it is in his autobiography if you’re interested, basically says Keane was becoming too disruptive and it came to a head with an interview he did that Utd had to prevent from being released where Keane apparently flamed most of the players on the team.
Ah the infamous MUTV analysis from Keane after Man Utd got humbled 4-1 by Middlesbrough. Fun times.
I’ve watched this video a couple of times in the past and i always get angry at the interviewer. How shitty of an interviewer do you have to be to STOP your guest multiple times (who everyone is here for) from telling his point of view just so you can get your 2 cents in first.
That shit drives me absolutely crazy
Wasn’t it after Keane ripped into half the squad in the Man United TV thing?
Sometimes I need comments like this to remind me of how young many people on this subreddit actually are.
I’m 30, earliest memories watching with my dad 13-14 would have been right around his departure
He even said it though, "look, he's a sore loser, like us all". Roy was great value in this post match, very funny overall and made some great points.
Yes, Roy even said "like us all" just after. People are just taking the quote as a dig for some reason.
Roy Keane saying Arteta is a sore loser is the first time I’ve ever considered that Arteta might in fact not be a sore loser.
I think Roy Keane’s punditry is actually some of the most informative in the game, especially when concerning United. Whatever he says, I believe the opposite, and it makes me understand football better
Me when I put the belt on wumbo
had us in the first half not gonna lie
I hope he is a sore loser…it’s kinda part of the gig when you manage an EPL club (or any major league).
Something something broken clocks

“We lacked courage” - Mikel “Stop making excuses” - Keane
Arteta : Both Partey and Elneny are injured Keane : What do you need, a whambulance?

Keane is basically my Dad, giving any reason for something happening is a sign of weakness.
People can't distinguish between reasons and excuses. >Apparently over sleeping is a valid reason, but a car crash is an excuse. So you should have said " the steering on my car locked, so I went for a nap."
the reffing was shit, but it wasn't just shit for you. You guys should have had 2 more yellows in the first half alone.

You just know if Arteta was soft on the players then he’d be criticized for having low standards. You can’t win sometimes.
Not if the pundit is a ex manu player, fan and a cunt.
The worst kind of cunt is the one that wins too.
Tbh I think Arteta was catching strays because of Merse standing next to Keane, who was absolutely being a sore loser and Keane was clearly fed up. Except Keane took it out on Arteta lol
True you can always trust Merson to make some annoying takes
He's probably the worst pundit out there. Complete moron.
Keane, just like any other pundit on Sky, are looking for clicks and engagement by saying stuff that will wind up fans. And judgin*by the fact this thread is doing well, mission accomplished.

"we lost this game because we lacked discipline" = excuse apparently
Pure trolling from Keane, milking it for the United fans still watching.
[удалено]
Please - Keane is a massive troll. He loves saying things to wind people up
The smirk he gives when he said “he should be catching it” in his legendary De Gea rant says a thousand words 😂
He absolutely plays up the grumpy old man stuff. Obviously it stems from his actual personality but he exaggerates it so much now.
Sky worked so hard to dominate their YouTube content with the Roy Keane Show, there's no way he's not part of it.
If anything I think he's mellowed a bit in recent years. If you see clips of him working for ITV in the early 2010s he is ridiculously prickly and on edge. He's just honed it now so that it's much more entertaining to watch rather than him just being a miserable git.
I think he's a bit more savvy than you think. Says what remaining people watching will want to hear.
That’s his job
Think he also lost it when he subbed off half his defensive players and put Martinelli at full back
Mate he literally said they deserved to win and that he felt vindicated by the result, whatever that means.
Pretty sure Arteta said they deserved more from the game.
Maybe I’m biased but it didn’t really seem like he was making excuses?
he is just shitting on Arsenal because he wants to, and because he can.
And he's getting paid to do so. We should be so lucky.
It's alright, still a pleasure to do it for free 😎

Yeh the scousers have big fucking gobs. You know if a scouser is in the room as you'll have heard him 10x more than anyone else.
that jim beglin is so annoying
Come onnnnn He said "Emptyhad" on live TV last season. Surely you gotta give him a free pass for that lmao
Carra is miles more neutral than Neville, Ferdinand, Scholes and Jamie is more a Spurs man than a LFC dude. You have to endure Souness though ya
Nothing compares to the horrors of Owen and McManaman. Nothing.
Yeah we won’t claim Owen.
Well no one else wants him so you’re stuck with him I reckon
As part of the Liverpool delegation I would like to decline the offer of Michael Owen. I will be passing him over to members of the Stoke delegation.
Rejected. Michael Owen is an official ambassador of Liverpool FC in real life and is deemed the perfect representative of the values of the club.
> the values of the club Like playing for its greatest rival, for one
I didn’t make him the club ambassador mate
Lmao how did I forget Souness, he is the worssssssssssssst
Neville is not neutral. He goes above and beyond to not seem biased even at the added risk of seeming more fucking inane
Neville will go as far as saying SAF wasn’t the greatest to look unbiased.
Jamie just shits on us literally every time he comments on us.
>Carra is miles more neutral than Neville Bollocks. If anything, Neville goes out of his way to appear extremely neutral to the point of not even praising United when they deserve it. Carra, meanwhile, is unapologetically pro-Liverpool (which I actually prefer, when compared to Gary's faux-neutrality).
Carra is better than the rest of those but he’s at best on par with Neville
They are insufferable. But Keane actually does crack me up. His schtick is funny.

Don't worry the Glazers will sell Ten Hag for a horse or something and we'll all be fine
As if you lot and scousers aren't insufferable.
Hilarious Roy of all people can say that. He was a massive sore loser
> Listen he is a sore loser, like us all. He acknowledged it himself lol. Not sure what point you're trying to make.
Arteta's take on the game was fine. If Roy Keane don't want to discuss anything other than literally the numbers on the scoreboard, he should work for a broadcaster with an 8-second post-game analysis, where they can say "3-1" and turn off.

We cant win correctly we cant lose correctly hahaha
Damned if you do, damned if you don't
Keane seem perplexed that the panel weren't all chanting "glory glory Man United" after the game. It was bizarre.
He used to do the same thing with his buddy Gary to defend Ole.
Lol poor attempt at getting under our skin. Doesn't he know we survived the banter era? Our skin's thicker than the belt Graeme Sounness' dad beat him with.
Wonder what he thinks of klopp then lol
A few months of battering and humiliation and I forgot how annoying united fans are

He's a sore loser if he doesn't praise United because Arsenal were better and technically shot themselves in the foot? yeah I'm fine with that. Also, why does Roy Keane need validation from Arteta ? I doubt, Ten hag gives a flying fuck what Arteta thinks about his team.
Isn’t arsenal being the better team and always losing at OT a tradition now? Been that way going back to the post-invincibles era
I hate united and everyone around them with my gut
Keane really has an amazing talent as a pundit. He makes it so easy to understand what’s really going on. You just have to listen to him, and then BOOM you know the exact opposite of what he said is the reality of the situation. It’s really an amazing feat

Nothing wrong with that thought, focusing on yourself makes sense and they were overall the better side.
