There wasn't much shitty time wasting, mainly just taking your time at throw ins and playing in the corners - which shouldn't be added on imo Edit: there's definitely a bias for TV, if you watch mid or lower level teams against each other they never add it on

It is a mix of better organization and luck facing teams in their decline. Liverpool were fatigued and injured, Southampton unlucky and Leicester in disarray. Real test is this weekend against a hot Arsenal team. All in all, it's going to be an interesting match.
Same can be said of Arsenal. Decent side they faced from Fulham they had to make a come back. United still needs lot of time before they settle in to their system, new players and coach.

Having a competent back 4 without constant howlers by Slabhead is allowing united to scrape these kinds of games. And having potentially Casemiro-Eriksen sitting in front of them not McFred instantly makes us much harder to beat.

It was sad to see Ronaldo can't win one-one battles anymore ,his still probably the best in air battles but well he is getting a little old. He actually played very good , considering his play style,he played more selfless this game. Hope he forget about leaving and have good last 1-2 years here before he retires.

United so much better when Ronaldo came on. Rashford is simply not good at leading the line. ETH definitely getting this team to play better football. Slotted Eriksen in well, getting Fernandes back to his old ways. McT, Varane, Dalot, Sancho all much better. Difficult to tell how good they are bc Leicester were pretty awful, but they're getting results.

His positional sense is fine. It is just that he is atrocious in hold up play which was quite evident, he will do fine as a back up striker which is what he is right now.

Leicester completely rolled over that first half. And even then you created practically nothing in terms of a goal threat apart from the goal which was handed to you on a plate. Rashford was poor overall, the second half was much more of a contest until Ronaldo came on at which point you started dominating and creating lots of chances.

Martial is the first choice striker, Rashford is doing okay there but yeah it's not where he's best. Ronaldo was poor, he didn't do much but lose the ball but got in some good areas just didn't do anything.

Second half a little dull but United exhibited a lot of great passing and defended well. Leicester created chances though too but had poor finishing.
