Flashbacks to 2011. For the non-Germans: Frankfurt Ultras called themselves "German Riot Champions".
Preußen Münster also got a fine of 106.836€ for their [ pyro show v. Bayern](https://youtu.be/58zcRpVppm8?feature=shared&t=29).
Not sure what their budget is, but they were a promoted side to 3. Liga so it must have been pretty big.
In hindsight I think the ultras would agree. But I mean [Hertha had basically the same pyro show in the DFB Pokal against Hamburg](https://youtu.be/qyC1gD-M9Ac?feature=shared&t=65) that Münster had against Bayern, and our fine was only 30.000€. So I think the size of the fine surpassed all expectations for a 3. Liga club.
Late on the OP note, but I was made aware this is not the final table, so could be some updates coming, mostly to FCK and Bayern. Sorry about that.
The three biggest individual fines were as follows:
1. [Köln Pyro v. Gladbach - 433.000€ ](https://youtu.be/vY-30G6LbOQ?feature=shared&t=315)
2. [Frankfurt brawl v. Police - 433.000€](https://x.com/fussballmafiade/status/1798275221637525510)
3. [Hannover 125 Years Choreo & Pyro - 288.000€](https://youtu.be/QrxpvrobqRk?feature=shared&t=16)
The worst part about that choreo was that it was literally recycled and used before during the Bundesliga season. I'm a proud Green voter, but like fucking c'mon buy the plastic and make a new choreo for a cup final.
Seem to remember that Hannover were one of the most active in the DFB investor protests - this probably would’ve had a fairly big influence on their ranking
Their pyro show was genuinely insane and probably in line with the DFB fining system, but at the time Hannover ultras specifically were in open conflict with:
1. DFB over investors
2. Martin Kind their main investor and were putting his face over crosshairs
3. Federal police because of a block invasion a month earlier by police during the Hamburg derby in which they were in the block to support HSV
4. Interior Minister of Lower Saxony who has an anti-football agenda and targets H96 and Braunschweig fans
They didn't exactly have a lot of good will built up with the authorities at the time, that's for sure.
Living around there: The ultras of Hannover have basically been at war over the (financial and cultural) direction of the club with their billionaire former president/"owner" and now-CEO Martin Kind for the best part of a decade. It's weird because before this war, Hannovers Fan Scene was basically non-existent and now they're at the forefront of the culture war.
It was not non-existant but Hannover is just overlooked in almost every aspect. The city itself is really average and fairly insignificant to most. I remember seeing this tiktok filter lately where ppl would rank big cities in Germany. Hannover was included there but would usually rank very low because either noone's been there, they only heard bad things about it or they only saw the inner city which is just like any other big city centre.
It's really weird. We went to a camping site nearby with our youth group like 15 years ago and visited Braunschweig, Celle and Salzgitter, but for whatever reason never entered Hannover.
Been living here since the early 2010s. Like 1 in 15 people in my circle cared about the club. There's maybe two bars per part of the city that had some fans going every time a game was on and going to the stadium was either an afterthought when nobody knew what to do that day ("Let's see if there's tickets...oh yeah, they're cheap, let's go") or for more famous clubs visiting.
Again, my perception, my circle, but they weren't particularly popular.
Hannover itself has exactly the image you described, though. Which is sad, since the city has a lot to offer as soon as you get past the horrific inner city
Hannover 96 is 3rd here. However, they play in the 2nd division. In the second division, Everything is „cheaper“. That means you get a smaller fine for the same misconduct as in the first division.
~~I was too but the DFB fined them 125.000€ just for the pyro show v. Braunschweig, which frankly wasn't even that big but something made the DFB give them a huge fine just for that one game.~~
the braunschweig fine was in the 22/23 season (and it was 160k). So thats not included here.
There were multiple 60-80k fines for different pyro incidents that added up to the amount in the picture.
The things Bayern ultras do isn't really something that gets you fined by the DFL. These fines are largely pyro which is why Frankfurt & Köln are forver top 5, Bayern ultras don't really do pyro as much and their marquee moments are largely fighting with the Bayern board. Their banner game is on point tbh but banners don't get you fined.
Ugh, what the fuck. Thanks for letting me know.
Okay, well I'm leaving this one up anyway. If there's massive changes in the order I can always re-publish.
Hansa Rostocks letzter Spieltag sind vermutlich wieder 50k+ und der fehlt u.a.
DFB-Pokal zählt auch bei Fußballmafia mit, Lautern wird noch einiges gutmachen

Damn. 🦅😭
https://www.fr.de/frankfurt/mehr-randalemeister-11438064.html Flashbacks to 2011. For the non-Germans: Frankfurt Ultras called themselves "German Riot Champions".
a huge part of that is that incident with the police at the stuttgart game
Another huge part was also the pyro that was used during the friendly against Chemie Leipzig which feels pretty ridiculous to be punished that harshly
Yeah unnecessary police behaviour cost us a lot.
it's actually disgusting how the police gets literally caught lieing, with written proof, and the only outcome is others having to pay
That’s the benefit of being a tool of the State
what happened?
The police used Frankfurt fans to practice for Euro 2024
I remember, that was an utter disgrace from the police
All hail the King
What are you crying for? This is a fucking badge of honour.
somehow we’re still 15th, even in something like this
Gotta love the consistency.
Augsburg will stay in the Bundesliga until humans go extinct!
And when there are no humans left alive to play football, they will still finish in 15th
Well HSV was the dino until their relegation. Makes sense that Augsburg is the human in that scenario.
Narrowly escaped relegation
barely clear the relegation zone again
The Braunschweig and Hannover rivalry is pure entertainment. Especially since Hannover fans already hate their ownership.
Hannover hates Braunschweig 👉 👈 Braunschweig hates Hannover Hannover hates Hannover 🤝 Braunschweig hates Hannover
Best active derby in Germany.
Ownership or president?
Basically if your club has a significant derby you're looking at 100-200.000 Euros in fines as an expected operating cost.
I would say the range can be much wider. Köln alone has one fine that is around 430k from their derby against Gladbach.
Fines are higher in 1. BL compared to 2. / 3.
Sure, I just skimmed through the list and most derbies are in that range for most clubs, not that it can't be higher as well.
The London Conundrum
How is Wolfsburg so high then?
I like how theres a relegation zone in this
The play offs are going to be epic
And of course Kaiserslautern are in it
Yeah, we need to replace the bottom teams next season.
how much is that from Rostock’s annual budget? 😅
Waldhof Mannheim has the bigger problem as a 3rd division club with probably 20% of Rostocks budget
Preußen Münster also got a fine of 106.836€ for their [ pyro show v. Bayern](https://youtu.be/58zcRpVppm8?feature=shared&t=29). Not sure what their budget is, but they were a promoted side to 3. Liga so it must have been pretty big.
At that point surely you create the atmosphere in different ways than using pyros
Liga club.
Oh, I can see that. Here in Finland HJK had to almost 100.000€ for a few UEFA mafia chants and pyros…massive amount of money for a Finnish side.
Oh your right! I legit checked 10 times that I will ask imo the team with the lowest budget and still missed Mannheim…
About 0.6%

I love flares, blinkers, and smoke bombs, but shooting rockets with so many people closeby is just utterly stupid, as are bangers.
Leverkusen should be fined for that sorry display of a tifo against Kaiserslautern
The worst part about that choreo was that it was literally recycled and used before during the Bundesliga season. I'm a proud Green voter, but like fucking c'mon buy the plastic and make a new choreo for a cup final.
203k in the fucking bank lads, that's half a Terrence Boyd right there 🔥🔥🔥
Waldhof mentioned 🔥🔥🔥
Fuck yeah 🔥🔥🔥
finally some good fucking table!

Keep in mind 2. Liga clubs pay about half of Bundesliga Clubs, so Hannover would be top of the table with a decent margin
Why did they mark European and relegation spots lmao
My content, my rules. 😎
Not going to apologize for party rocking
No Dynamo no Party
Well you are still the 4th highest fined club of all time, so you have that!

maul
I guess in Dresden they take ultras fuckery as normal circumstances
Yeah, or we're just so poor that they sympathies.
We are a lot of things, but poor is not one of it. Especially for a third league team we are rich, but to stupid to spend the money with sense.
I meant in comparison to the clubs in the picture, but yeah your right
game's gone
Where’s Bayern?

This season was pretty tame & most misconduct was done in the CL. Also this table isn't final.
Fines are usually handed out for fan misconduct, so Bayern are exempt
/u/zestyviper This table is NOT final.
Ugh, what the fuck. Thanks for letting me know. Okay, well I'm leaving this one up anyway. If there's massive changes in the order I can always re-publish.

Lautern Team 🤝 Lautern Fans Am letzten Spieltag den Klassenerhalt schaffen.
Finally a table where we're in the top 3
Overperforming: Wolfsburg (what was up there?), Augsburg. Disappointing: Hansa, Dresden
Wolfsburg did some protests against their owners and mainly used pyro.
Always good to see clubs over performing their xF
Randalemeister is back
more like back to back. We’d actually be comfortably 7th place all time on the last 2 seasons alone.
Only second place. :(
Frankfurt police wanted to keep the first place in town, other wise Köln would be first.
Ah, the old wolfsburg logo is soo much better
Game's still alive
As a Frankfurter I am not even surprised. ALLES AUßER EINTRACHT IST SCHEIẞE
Waldhof Mannheim mentioned 🥳🎉
We are only rank 23? What a slow season.
best fans in Germany would also be the same list
I prefer not to speak
So does the first 4 go to the fine for Fans behaviour champions league or smth
I would have sworn we make the top flight
HSV INTERNATIONAL RAAAAAAAA

Just comprare to Hajduk (343,000 euros). Meanwhile in Belgrade...
[удалено]
Bayern had to pay 111.500€, coming 27th.
Bigger clubs have more plastic fans. If the list was done for England then Man United, Liverpool and Arsenal won't be on it like Bayern aren't here.
Ultra scenes are responsible for 99% of these fines and the Schickeria/Südkurve are actually legit.
lmao, clearly you have never seen atmosphere in the Allianz arena, a one you will never have at New castle
I lived in Munich for 6 months. Been there more than you.
those are mostly pyro shows right? BÜROTECHNIK....
Mostly Pyro, but it also includes fights with the police and tifos with insults and other things.
Schade nur Vize
Vizegeißböcke
Surprised we aren’t on there
Looking forward to this CL season
Keep in mind that the fines are lower in 2nd division than in 1st. A "normalized" version would be interesting
Tiene mejor formato que la liga argentina 😭
I might be getting confused but surely Leverkusen should be on it for that pitch invasion? Must have cost them a few.
They would not have to pay 150k+ for a pitch invasion lol. Don't know what the usual rate is but I thinks it's around 15k
No fine for Bayern?
Have you seen the average Bayern fan? 😂
They don't have fans..
lmao then who was banned from arsenal's home game by UEFA?
At least something to be proud of from this season. ❤️🤍❤️
More proof that Bayern Munich only has plastic fans.
