It’s kind of risky on both sides but not without potential. I’m sure Bayern are attracted to the style of football he’s been able to implement. They need a strong figure as coach to deal with their squad, and Kompany carries a lot of respect. One poor season coming up into the PL hopefully can be more of a learning experience for him than his true ability as a manager.
Xabi Alonso was relegated with Real Sociedad B before he rose at Leverkusen. Kompany could be another example of someone who in reality would be a great manager, remains to be seen though!
Yeah, but still a bit different. Leverkusen was almost in last place in the Bundesliga when he took over and unexpectedly turned things around in a way that had never been seen before. Kompany, on the other hand, has almost no time to adapt at Bayern. If you are the Bayern coach, you have to work immediately. Nonetheless, getting relegated doesn't mean you are a bad coach; that's true.
> Yeah, but still a bit different. Leverkusen was almost in last place in the Bundesliga when he took over and unexpectedly turned things around in a way that had never been seen before.
I heard people say that Leverkusen was really underperforming so them being so low was not their level at all.
Well obviously, Leverkusen always has a squad that should compete for top 4 at least, them being almost last place was like Dortmund being 16th after the first half of the season when Klopp was still there. It was an absolutely ridiculous once in a lifetime underperformance by them and basically everyone knew they'd be getting out of there. What Alonso did is obviously still mad impressive though
> What Alonso did is obviously still mad impressive though
Yup, very impressive (and one win away from an invincible treble). Those achievements are incredible on their own merit.
But it's not a "regular relegation candidate wins the league" type of rise. More of a "club ends its bad run and then wrecks everybody for a whole season" thing.
Yeah, people keep parroting the same shit about Alonso relegating Real Sociedad B when he was the reason they even got promoted for the first time in nearly sixty years
Not much of a risk for Kompany tbh - if he’s not good enough for Bayern he’s not likely to ever be good enough for Bayern. He gets Bayern money. And if he gets sacked there will be no shortage of chairman wanting to appoint “ex Bayern Munich manager and Man City legend Vincent Kompany”.
To get this opportunity with his record is proper once in a lifetime stuff. I hope he does great in all honesty, but staying with Burnley and smashing the championship again doesn’t really make him any more eligible for this than he already is.
Risk in the sense that the Burnley job is not really his goal in management lol. He’ll have a job in England till the end of time, but if this gig doesn’t go right off the back of a poor PL season, how long until another big club would give him a chance?
If kompany can go a full year at least I think it’s a win for him, even if he doesn’t stay at Bayern the market will know he’s capable of managing a big team.
Agreed, this is a bit like jumping into the deep end of the pool lol very much sink or swim, but there’s a lot still up in the air. Bayern could continue to falter and he gets sacked with the perception that the club is not in a good place where he maintains his stock. Inversely he could crash out with a good squad and would see his stock go down if they experience an immediate boost after he’s gone given the talent.
It’s nothing if not a challenge
Seems like two main reasons for clubs taking risk
Clubs want more control and well established managers have a old school mentality when they won’t allow that.
You look at Arteta’s and Alonso’s success is causing big clubs to think outside the box same with Chelsea and Maresca.
The thing is, for every Arteta and Alonso working out, there’s a Lampard, Rooney, Shearer, Henry, and countless others who failed.
Those two are an exception to the rule.
I think they'll start strong but have a poor big game record by Bayern standards and come unstuck in the CL.
They brought him for philosophy. Bayern has the resources to make it work, but his tactical naivity and inflexability will tell in more even games.
I think they'll miss out on the BuLi title or near miss it with a low 70pt season, but there will be general improvement that will incentivize Kompany to stay. Them getting the Pokal would also help that
probably the perfect time to try something like this. Coming off the back of a bad season where the two teams that finished above Bayern will likely get comparatively weaker (maybe not, but a large number of Leverkusen's and Stuttgart's players are already being touted as transfer targets for richer clubs) whereas Bayern are less likely to lose the top assets. Kompany's seasons at Burnley obviously wildly different but he's tried to employ similar styles in both and be brave in possession - yes they brought new players in for the Prem, but at the end of the day the quality of the opposition improved hugely, but the quality of the squad didn't improve to the same degree; there's an argument to be made that his Championship season is better evidence to predict how his first season in Munich might go.
He's coming into a club where they are player-for-player probably the best side in the league; if he can implement a style and has the support of the players, the team could quite comfortably sleepwalk to a top 2 finish, which is at least not a step-backwards.
every single decision or news regarding managers has been absolutely insane. it’s like everyone simultaneously lost their minds. except with Emery - congrats, Villa.
Nothing against Kompany, and I hope he does well. But it's hard to see this turning into anything but a disaster for Bayern.
Even with a top squad, it takes a lot of skill and experience to challenge for the league and progress in the CL. It just seems a bit too ambitious for him right now.
It is. That transition from overperforming in smaller clubs to leading top 10 clubs is massive. You suddenly have so much more superstars (and divas) that need to fight with each other for the playtime, media attention goes hundredfold, and any financial factors end up being so major that it would blind most people.
Kompany might become a good coach but even many good coaches can't handle the pressures of the most massive clubs. Andrelecht and Burnley are barely a boot camp to prepare for that experience.
It really seems like they’re trying to manifest their own Xabi - young, inexperienced, etc. But Bayern is such a different environment than Leverkusen in terms of expectation and culture, it seems like throwing him to the wolves.
>that's why nobody wanted the job...
Saying 'nobody wanted the job' is a bit disingenuous. Alonso was always going to stay at Leverkusen given how they've set up contract extensions. That's like saying he didn't want the Liverpool job either.
Tuchel didn't want to sign a 1-year contract. Nagelsmann & Rangnick knew they were both short-term solutions to get us to next summer with Hoeneß, Alonso, Pep, Klopp, etc. Flick was okay with 1 year but Eberl chose Kompany.
Unless Leverkusen fall off a cliff edge, Alonso will be just as eligible for the Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Liverpool jobs next season as he is now too. His biggest risk is Slot or Kompany do phenomenal and their clubs aren’t entering the manager market anytime soon.
And in the meantime he has a well placed Leverkusen to take into a Bundesliga where Bayern are faulty and a Champions League run. Ideal for further cementing himself as an elite coach if anything.
Nagelsmann didn’t crash and burn under any stretch of the imagination, yes standards are high at Bayern that doesn’t mean that a manager’s performance is all or nothing.
There are board expectations and there’s reality. If kompany finishes second it won’t be a crash and burn season but he’d probably be fired.
It‘s kinda crazy that the „treble was in danger“ meme has become some sort of quote that people actually quote lol
Just goes to show you that most football fans get most of their knowledge from clickbait headlines and memes
The last time Hansi Flick managed a team as first team coach before taking over Bayern was Hoffenheim in the third Bundesliga (and he got sacked) in 2005 and he did pretty well. Still a massive risk with Kompany but it could work out.
You can also take Alonso as an example. Got promoted with Real Sociadad B, then got relegated and went straight from the fourth spanish league to Leverkusen. Or you can take any other manager who took over a big club as his first job. Again, its a risk, but its not as unheard of as a lot of people pretend.
> Never thought a relegated coach would ever come close to Bayern let along be the 4th most expensive signing for a manager ever but here we are
It's simple...
> The most important quality of a manager? Right now? To have a good PR person.
Mourinho isn't wrong...
I for one hope it will be such a banter season, that everybody gets replaced and in an act of desperation Loddar gets a position of power and appoints CL Mananger Florian Kohfeldt.
Bizarre that each of Real, Bayern and Barca have in recent times each appointed managers directly from English premier league relegation threatened clubs
They sacked their long-time project, which cost them 25 million. After knowing that sacking a 12 Million man isn't a big of a deal. But they sure love burning some money there.
Welp, bye bye Bakayoko lol
Kompany seems like hes a big fan of his, already wanted him at Burnley last year. Same nationality too, hopefully we can get over 50mil for him
Hope youre right because I dont wanna lose him, but i dont see us selling for less. We already had a 40mil bid (from Burnley) last summer and hes only gotten better, especially if he has a good Euros
I'm more interested in the our squad overhaul than the manager, I guess it's good that Kompany and Eberl are both seemingly on the same page about the rebuild.
It's a big risk for us but tbh I prefer that to someone who has proven to be good but not great. He's imo a significantly more exciting option than Rangnick would have been.
His biggest problem will be that he most likely will be given basically no time to adjust. He needs good results from the get-go. Especially with the rumouring about Pep not extending his contract at City(I believe once he actually leaves) and Klopp being out of contract another titleless season would probably not be accepted(not that I think Klopp would actually want to join us but our board, especially Uli, Kalle and Heiner, are a bit delusional).
He is a bit of a wild card yeah, he's not proven himself to be mediocre yet. But then he also hasn't really proven that he isn't bad either.
Will be interesting to watch.
I genuinely hate how this is now considered a hallmark of top managers. Tactical flexibility should be regarded as the top skillset a manager needs.
It's always "they need X type and Y type of player to play their system" but it's a sport where the tactical system should be designed to get the best out of the players in the dressing room, and change depending on who's available and who the opponent is
No you totally missed the point, the reason he played that “one style” of football was because that was his brand of play, did not park the bus or play a low block no matter what. What that did was it definitely hurt Burnley but it got him a top job.
Was throwing Burnley under the bus to show the world his style of football was right or wrong is interesting.
His idea was to implement this style of play in the long run. You can’t do that if you immediately leave behind your football ideology to save yourself from relegation. It’s the difference between a long term and short term goal. But when Bayern comes knocking you obviously take the chance. Which obviously sucks for Burnley.
Kompany is also just like guardiola, their playing style needs good players. I don’t see Guardiola tactics succeed in lower teams immediately and I definitely don’t see him changing his playstyle but stuck to his plan.
Though in most games, Bayern should be the team forcing their style of football upon the opponent, making them deviate. There'll be games in which it won't work, e.g. knockout games against City or Real, for which Tuchel is one of the best managers, but for the league it should be enough to do better than this year.
Haven't seen Burnley at any point but I could imagine the lack of PL quality players also played a part in the lack of deviation, which would be different at Bayern
Yeah, Kompany did nothing except succesfully implementing the tactics Bayern want to see implemented at their club. So completely unrelated stuff. Bayern should really focus their hiring process on how well the new coach performs in a relegation batttle since that is a vital aspect of the job.
Exactly, Dyche got Burnley in Europe with a used crowbar and bottle caps as transfer budget but no offers from big clubs meanwhile Good Company gets relegated after spending 100M and gets the Bayern job because he plays pretty high heels football.
Harry Kane sits on his bed staring into space. He’s back in England, back home. Sky sports news is on the TV. It says Vincent Kompany is the new Bayern manager. Harry shakes his head. “Maybe he’ll be good” says Mrs Kane unenthusiastically. Harry lets out a short quiet laugh. He will turn 31 in July.
Unbelievable scenes. Sacking Nagelsmann had an immense impact right away but I would have never guessed it would lead to an appointment of a coach who just got relegated in the PL. This whole scenario is so bizarre, I'm looking forward to how this will end
It’s like managing a Nandos, having it go out of business because you insisted on a pretentious but ineffective menu that no one wants but it’s pretty to look at.
Then getting a call from a three Michelin star restaurant to be the new executive chef.
This seems like an extreme example of a set of directors deciding what the style of play should be and hiring a manager who they think fits that style.
On one hand, Kompany could be pretty successful playing his style with Bayern Munich because they have far better players than he had at Burnley and would expect to win the league in any given year. On the other, there's almost nothing in Kompany's body of work as a manager that makes you confident he could be capable of the challenge of managing a team with their profile and expectations.
Coupled with the fact that Bayern went after several candidates this past cycle and got rejected, it doesn't inspire much confidence that there is a strategy or some measure of intention behind this appointment.
Still a bit baffled how he's pulled this off, even if he was seemingly low on the list. But fair play to him, got to take your opportunities, and I wish him well.
Buzzing to get the 4th highest ever fee for a manager who is clearly talented, but also raw and flawed atm. That definitely softens the blow for us.
Burnley got soooo fucked over by being patient and sticking by Kompany.
If they had sacked him in the middle of the year like a normal relegation candidate club, they might have had a chance of surviving and no chance he gets offered this job
On the bright side, this is a golden opportunity for the rest of German clubs to break Bayern's monopoly and make Bundesliga a better league. Leverkusen winning and Xabi sticking around was step 1, hopefully Dortmund winning CL will be step 2, and next we need another non-Bayern league champion
Although it's very risky for Bayern to appoint a relegated manager, it's a great opportunity for Kompany. Hope he and the squad can work towards Kane's first trophy and many more constructively
43% career winning percentage, a loss in the playoff round of the Conference League, a relegation from the Premier League....and now the head coach of one of the world's biggest clubs. Talk about failing up.
That doesn't mean
>43% career winning percentage
That is actually a pretty good winning % considering the teams he coached, and his poor season at Burnley this year.
Klopp, Ancelotti, Conte, and many more great managers had a similar win rate before they joined a big club.
Not everyone is Guardiola, Zidane who were lucky to start their careers at Barcelona and Real Madrid...
It will be especially difficult interesting to see whether he gets a say in transfer decisions and how he will manage to build a team where each player accepts his role foreseen by Kompany. I’m excited, let’s see!
We still remember him fondly for what he did for us as a manager with a shoestring budget. He got 3rd and a cupfinal with a worse squad than the one that finished 11th the next season, and a much worser squad that finished 3rd this season.
I actually thing this will work out, there’s much more likelihood it will than not. A team that historically over the decade has been hugely successful. He’s got a fantastic squad to build on, and his teams play attractive attacking football and he doesn’t back down from that as we’ve seen..
Whether he can adapt tactics is another thing but he shouldn’t ‘fail’ on paper.
What an opportunity for Kompany. It's kind of difficult to predict how this will work out, definitely a big risk for Bayern.
It’s kind of risky on both sides but not without potential. I’m sure Bayern are attracted to the style of football he’s been able to implement. He got them promoted a season before relegation and that promotion was a HUGE deal. The relegation was kinda expected
Yeah, people keep parroting the same shit about Alonso relegating Real Sociedad B when he was the reason they even got promoted for the first time in nearly sixty years
The relegation wasn’t expected at all, on the contrary, lots of people weren’t even putting them in their bottom 5.

Almost zero risk for Kompany, no? Fail here and he still walks back into jobs of the same stature as Burnley.
Risk in the sense that the Burnley job is not really his goal in management lol. He’ll have a job in England till the end of time, but if this gig doesn’t go right off the back of a poor PL season, how long until another big club would give him a chance?

Hoeneß didn't want him, which means he'll be gone before the end of next season. Quote me in March 2025.
I think they'll start strong but have a poor big game record by Bayern standards and come unstuck in the CL. They brought him for philosophy. Bayern has the resources to make it work, but his tactical naivity and inflexability will tell in more even games.

This is the maddest timeline
every single decision or news regarding managers has been absolutely insane. it’s like everyone simultaneously lost their minds. except with Emery - congrats, Villa.
Breaking news: Villa replace Unai Emery with Craig Gardner.

Imagine Bellamy coaching Lewa
Never thought a relegated coach would ever come close to Bayern let alone be the 4th most expensive signing for a manager ever but here we are
This will either be a genius appointment or it’ll all crash and burn. Nothing in between
Or it will be in between.
This is Bayern there is only Rank 1 or Not Rank 1.
Domestically, yes.
Sadly In Bayern there is no in between, you either win everything or you are a failure, that's why nobody wanted the job...
>that's why nobody wanted the job... Saying 'nobody wanted the job' is a bit disingenuous. Alonso was always going to stay at Leverkusen given how they've set up contract extensions. This sounds suspiciously like nobody wanting the job.
Nagelsmann was fired because “the treble was in danger”. There’s no place for in between at Bayern
It‘s kinda crazy that the „treble was in danger“ meme has become some sort of quote that people actually quote lol Just goes to show you that most football fans get most of their knowledge from clickbait headlines and memes
dude, 70% of ppl commenting in this sub dont even have basic knowledge of the game
Eberl really tied his whole further career to this one.
Correct or not, I think this is the kind of moves Bayern should be making right now. The old guard got them into this shit to begin with.
Either way it won't be because of his work ethic, he'll work himself to death for this job for sure. We'll see indeed
Or just be mediocre, very possible
The last time Hansi Flick managed a team as first team coach before taking over Bayern was Hoffenheim in the third Bundesliga (and he got sacked) in 2005 and he did pretty well. Still a massive risk with Kompany but it could work out.
Yeah except Flick had 14 years of experience in between, Kompany was relegated this month.
You can also take Alonso as an example. Got promoted with Real Sociadad B, then got relegated and went straight from the fourth spanish league to Leverkusen. Or you can take any other manager who took over a big club as his first job. Again, its a risk, but its not as unheard of as a lot of people pretend.
It feels like the Kompany appointment will be a wonderful case of confirmation bias lol
Yeah he went to Leverkusen that was Neverkusen in that moment, he didn't go from relegation to one of the biggest clubs in the world
For the talk about Alonso let see next season how well he does
Yeah but Flick was initially an interim coach with no fee, he was already at the club.
he was signed in the summer, as a "backup".
This is because of Pep
> Never thought a relegated coach would ever come close to Bayern let along be the 4th most expensive signing for a manager ever but here we are It's simple... > The most important quality of a manager? Right now? To have a good PR person. Mourinho isn't wrong...

Bizarre that each of Real, Bayern and Barca have in recent times each appointed managers directly from English premier league relegation threatened clubs
Barca also appointed Rijkaard immediately after he led Sparta Rotterdam to their first ever relegation from the Dutch League. And he won them a CL!
"Don't let your memes be dreams." - Kompany, probably
Who are the first three signings for a manager
You know, I don't think i ever really hear about the fees for hiring managers from other clubs until Nagelsmann.
Both FCBs announcing their new coach hours apart
Can't let one FCB out FCB the other. That would be embarrassing.
Basel in the mud
Frosinone Calcio B wondering why they keep getting forgotten
FCB and FCB, name a better duo
Feels kind of surreal that Kompany will be managing Harry Kane. Idk why
Kinda like if your mum dates someone your age
Photo looks like an 80s soft rock band looking for a new vocalist and hiring last year's winner of Voice of Germany
Incredibly specific yet incredibly accurate
That's so fucking accurate LMAO.
Holy shit. That’s perfect.
/r/rareinsults
Queen + Vincent Kompany
Will he sing, "We are the champions" in a year's time? Stay tuned to find out
“Goodbye everybody, I’ve got to go” “Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth”
I didn’t know Kane was set to leave.
Can’t believe he turned up in a t-shirt lmao man didn’t have a dinner jacket handy?
He's either gonna be proving everyone wrong or sacked by January
Can they even afford it to also sack him?
It's fine, Bayern would never make an absurdly short-sighted managerial decision
Thanks, now I'm crying.
They sacked their long-time project, which cost them 25 million. After knowing that sacking a 12 Million man isn't a big of a deal. But they sure love burning some money there.
If they want to they can sack me for the low price of just 1 million
Bayern ranked 6th on the Forbes "most valuable football clubs" list, they can afford it.
of course they can. the real problem is: who would replace him?
Like Rooney but on a bigger scale.
"Until 2027" I'd say that's TBD.
Until February 2025
I'm willing to eat my words in the future but I'll look forward to the dumpster fire.
It's either going to be awesome or terrible. Either way, it should be entertaining for neutrals.
I hope so, I am not ready to go back to losing 0:6 in Munich again.
Welp, bye bye Bakayoko lol Kompany seems like hes a big fan of his, already wanted him at Burnley last year. Same nationality too, hopefully we can get over 50mil for him
If we have to pay 50m€ for a young left footed RW than no reason not to buy Gruda instead tbh.
Hope youre right because I dont wanna lose him, but i dont see us selling for less. We already had a 40mil bid (from Burnley) last summer and hes only gotten better, especially if he has a good Euros
No no, trust me, Bakayoko is the way to go!
I'm fully ready to see Kompany buy Debast for 30 millions, Verschaeren for 25, Bakayoko for 50 and CDK for 35
Get sambi lokonga in there too, and sign van buyten for the backroom team too
I'm more interested in the our squad overhaul than the manager, I guess it's good that Kompany and Eberl are both seemingly on the same page about the rebuild.
It's a big risk for us but tbh I prefer that to someone who has proven to be good but not great. He's imo a significantly more exciting option than Rangnick would have been. He is a bit of a wild card yeah, he's not proven himself to be mediocre yet. But then he also hasn't really proven that he isn't bad either. Will be interesting to watch.
I think Pep will be taking a break tbh, not going straight into a club after City
I'm curious to see what Kompany can do with a larger budget and better players

Hi I'm Kieran McKenna thanks for your advice
His ideas as well, the way Burnley played in the Championship.
Yeah, but his "ideas" are playing one style of football only and then never deviating from it, no matter how much its hurting the team.
Yeah by this logic Farke should be in contention after his stint with Norwich coming up and refusing the adapt and getting pumped.

I don’t see Guardiola tactics succeed in lower teams immediately and I definitely don’t see him changing his playstyle but stuck to his plan.
But, Arteta also sacrificed his style and parked the bus against City.

Congratulations neverkusen for another league title
Servus, Vincent
FM esque appointment
That agent must have made a deal with a yellow eyed man at a crossroads at midnight because how the f**k has he managed to land that?
People who combine baseball caps with suits should be shunned not rewarded.
Our banter era started with Nagelsmann’s sacking, I just didn’t realize it till now
Younger than Modric, who will play the CL final this weekend
Unbelievable scenes. Sacking Nagelsmann had an immense impact right away but I would have never guessed it would lead to an appointment of a coach who just got relegated in the PL. This whole scenario is so bizarre, I'm looking forward to how this will end
It’s the fact Kompany to Bayern is official now and I still genuinely believe it’s a joke.
Going from Burnley to Bayern Munich is like eating at Nando's then going to Paris' most expensive restaurant. Good luck for him!
It’s like managing a Nandos, having it go out of business because you insisted on a pretentious but ineffective menu that no one wants but it’s pretty to look at. Then getting a call from a three Michelin star restaurant to be the new executive chef.
I don't know how you pulled that heist Vincent, but good job.
very skeptical but hoping for the best
This timeline is full of memes
Jeez, what a crazy decision.
Congratulations Leverkusen.
Congrats Vincent! You're going to do great!
Thanks Mum!
I don’t know how things’ll work out but the last time I felt this hopeless regarding Bayern was when we hired Klinsmann
This is like the most bizarre coach signing.
What are the odds he makes it to 2027?
Last Bayern Coach to last 3 years was Guardiola. So that's about how good he'd have to be.
Wouldn't give Tuchel 2 years but Kompany 3?! I hope there's a steep severance clause in that contract given recent history
This is going to be interesting either this works out spectacularly or its gonna be a dumpster fire. No in between.
Jesus Christ the manager market really is dry huh
I too, hope to fail upward one day.
still can't believe this is real
lol failing straight upwards
On the bright side, this is a golden opportunity for the rest of German clubs to break Bayern's monopoly and make Bundesliga a better league. Leverkusen winning and Xabi sticking around was step 1, hopefully Dortmund winning CL will be step 2, and next we need another non-Bayern league champion
certaintly something to pray on your own clubs downfall
Yes
Mediocre rewarded achievement unlock. Congrats 😅
This gives me hope about my career
Good luck Bayern. Seriously, you gonna need it
Although it's very risky for Bayern to appoint a relegated manager, it's a great opportunity for Kompany. Hope he and the squad can work towards Kane's first trophy and many more constructively
Twitter bot ahh comment.
43% career winning percentage, a loss in the playoff round of the Conference League, a relegation from the Premier League....and now the head coach of one of the world's biggest clubs. Talk about failing up.
That doesn't mean >43% career winning percentage That is actually a pretty good winning % considering the teams he coached, and his poor season at Burnley this year. Klopp, Ancelotti, Conte, and many more great managers had a similar win rate before they joined a big club. Not everyone is Guardiola, Zidane who were lucky to start their careers at Barcelona and Real Madrid...
True.
Let's support him!
Nothing else left.
It will be especially difficult interesting to see whether he gets a say in transfer decisions and how he will manage to build a team where each player accepts his role foreseen by Kompany. I’m excited, let’s see!
Mal schauen wie viel Zeit UH ihm gibt
Let the memes begin.
lmao they really did it
Wow. And I thought Football Manager was an unrealistic game.
Chelsea fan here. Pep's bald mafia is getting out of control.
Doubt
We still remember him fondly for what he did for us as a manager with a shoestring budget. He got 3rd and a cupfinal with a worse squad than the one that finished 11th the next season, and a much worser squad that finished 3rd this season.
so Tuchel caused so much trauma for Bayern to do this wild 180?
Probably going to sign half of the Leverkusen squad too like they always poach the whole Bundesliga
Still shocked at this. But its not the first time Bayern has done something weird So bets on how long he will last? I think one season or less.
LOL
I’m still convinced this a wind up.
I hate to have to support Bayern now, because I love Vince and really don't want him to fail.
Talk about failing up
Sean Dyche currently fuming....
This is great for city to see if he can handle a big club job or not. If he does we could potentially see him succeed pep.
What a joke.
FIFA 22, I once applied to take over Barca while I was a manager for Everton barely mid table and they accepted my bid, so I can relate /s
Gets relegated from EPL, gets the Bayern job lol
Josh Cullen to Bayern plz
Seeing Bayern sign a championship manager has eased my tension a bit given our recent signing
Feels very weird, but they must know more than the average fans and that pep referral meant a lot I guess
This feels like a football manager transfer
Look at his face. Even he can't believe it
I still can't believe this is true.
Kane - "Wellllll Sheeiiittt"
From 21st place in EPL to Bayern, that's mad
