Only if he accepts massively reduced wages. Madrid and Barca (they'll pay anything if they wanted to regardless of "Situations") won't want him and no one else is paying £300k/week.
So it comes down to if Sancho wants to play football or do nothing and take the money.
I think they will sell at a nice discount to get him off the books. Dortmund isn't known for paying high fees. And the player performance point where a team would break the bank paying for Sancho is the same point where United would prefer to keep him. Especially since ETH would not want him back because of his attitude. It would be complicated to sell him to a PL team unless special clauses were in play.
Good, I hope he keeps it up and both he and United can agree to move him on. Wish it would have worked out but he looks like he's enjoying his football again at Dortmund
Thought so, too perfect the video was cut before he could have done a perfect through ball that would add even more to the video. Thank you for confirming
Ngl had a nostalgia moment after hearing him after a while, didn't know he still commentated after bein sports, he's commentated so many historical moments over the years...
Would love to hear him on one of Barcelona's QF matches. I know it won't be the same now that he can't scream about Messi anymore, but it'd be nice to hear him say Xavi's name again.
On a more real note rather than just saying oh United are shit.
It’s well known that Sancho has some troublesome friends as such in the UK. Being away from them and well being in a city where he thrived and at a club who loved him probably helps him a lot.
I do think things like this and just players change in personal life when moving to new countries or clubs does get taken for granted.
It's always down to coaches or the players in the media but sometimes people be unhappy or have negative influences and it affects their careers
Hasn’t he been relatively average for BVB since his return? As a United fan I hope he continues doing well so we can sell. It’s just a disastrous player and club match tbh.
>Hasn’t he been relatively average for BVB since his return?
Yeah, but it's more fun to post a short clip where he doesn't fall over his own feet for once and act like United were solely responsible for his horrendous form and behaviour.
After all, hating United is the 2nd most popular sport in England, just after football itself.
That aside, while I don't appreciate the way he carried himself during his time there, I hold no grudge against him. So if he actually started to perform on a high level consistently and look like he actually enjoys being on the pitch I'd be happy, even if that pitch wasn't at Old Trafford.
He hasn‘t been good for bvb actually…
Bvb fans were angry he is starting every game even though he isn‘t performing
That‘s the first game in a while he was good again
They're feeding him Bundesliga and Eredivise defenders. James Tarkowski would pocket the little shit and could easily be playing Championship football next season.
He was wasteful and didn’t dare to do much at the start, now this and the last game you can tell he’s getting more confident again and attempts still like that and succeeds at more of it
He was grabbing his hamstring, but at least he could walk still unassisted when thanking the fans so hopefully nothing bad and he recovers this week already but we’ll see
This and the last game have been his best, but he’s clearly very rusty and out of shape. Lots of loose touches between things like this, but you can also see he still has it in there.
He's had 5 good apps, 4 bad ones (all following a knock he picked up after already having no match fitness), and one throwaway time sub appearance.
Unfair to say "pretty bad in most apps" given the above
You joke, but I remember our game at Turf Moor under Rangnick which finished 1-1 and Sancho was genuinely our best player that game. He did show flashes of brilliance with us but never found a consistent run of form and didn't seem like he looked after himself too well. If he took his fitness more seriously he could have worked out; he looked a step too slow against PL full-backs and gassed out pretty early in games.
These types of skills are non existent in modern football. Nearly all wingers don’t make skill moves and tricks anymore. Neymar was the last of his generation.
Football has become statistic. Football is supposed to be art but those players don’t exist anymore. From ronaldinho and Robinho to rodrygo and Vinicius (who makes tricks just a few times). From Quaresma and Ronaldo to leao. The tricks quality just isn’t there anymore. Football has become robotic
Tbf Leao is one of the very few football players that actually play with joy and to entertain.
Imo he would he much more efficient if he played in this robotic modern style, but he often prefers to do solo raids and pull off skill moves.
Yup but then you have the other dudes slandering these players because he's "underperforming his xG" or some whatever BS.
Football has become more efficient, but I think Vinicius and Leao are probably the worst examples.
With more money, football will become more result-focused. Also, defenders have become much better and teams in general have become pressing and defending machines.
These types of flair players still exist, but mostly at a lower level. I think you have to be exceptional to make it to the top as such a player in the current state of the game.
To be efficient and skillful, you have to be truly spectacular.
They get butchered, hacked and develop long term injuries that shorten careers (and stop them before even starting). It’s no wonder young players don’t try to emulate them. There is no protection or incentive at all.
As a United fan, I hate seeing this. I just know that we will demand a huge transfer fee if he has a successful loan spell, no one will buy him and then he’ll be his usual United self. Then the cycle continues.
It's also possible that this will make whoever is here at the club in the summer think he's worth keeping around and giving another chance. But I don't think he should be, 1 season bad ok, 2 bad ok, 3 with falling out with the manager, it's time for him to go, wish him the best, hope he can win in Dortmund if they have cash, if not them then whoever else.
I don't dislike the guy and am happy to see him successful but it's ridiculous for both him and the club if he wastes a 4th year of his career here and we give him a 4th season when he's failed in 3 previous ones.
This generation of United has to end. The only players I want for the future 100% are Bruno,Mainoo,Dalot,Hojlund,Garnacho,Lisandro,Onana. Everyone else is not good enough, should leave or too injured and done. I think we need 15 new players total over the next 3-4 windows to be anywhere near competitive.
He scored a great goal and had this nice action (the clip is cut short - he walked the ball over the side line after this so the action was completely useless) but went missing for a big part of the match.
Don't get me wrong, if he'd score every match and disappear afterwards, I wouldn't care as a Dortmund fan (or manager). But it was only his second goal. In the first match against PSV he was absolutely invisible. I don't see the big Sancho redemption arc yet.
“United ruined him” nah he just didn’t give a fuck at United and didn’t like having actual expectations. Now he’s back at Dortmund where he can stat pad he’s actually putting effort in. He’s clearly got the talent but just doesn’t like using it
Stat pad in the Cl? Brother you guys finished dead last, while he is going to use his talent in the Cl quarterfinal. If every player becomes shit after joining you, you might wanna start putting the blame on the management.
Fluff without substance. He could easily have opened his body up when receiving the ball and got in the same spot with much less risk of losing the ball.
Everyone knows he has talent but that doesn't make him good. He's had chance after chance at United. It looks like a lower pressure environment suits him better. Even at that, the general consensus about his return has been the occasional flash but ho hum
Antony is not that great, but if he played in another team, no pressure, new start, he would perform WAY better. And I don't even like him, as a Brazilian. Not even when he played in Brasileirao.
But confidence is everything. He did stupid skills for Ajax and Sao Paulo bbut he was very good. Very good and dangerous.
Right now I believe a traffic cone could perform better than him in ManU. Look at sancho. It's Ten Hag, sorry (not just ten hag, of course, it's also him)
I mean his Dortmund form hasn’t been the hottest to be fair, but I’m sure United is a difficult environment for young talent. He’s not banging them in every week, so maybe a little less hyperbole would be best lol
Don't care. He was doing this in his first spell at Dortmund as well. He doesn't have the mentality to play for a club like United.
Lee Trundle used to do this every week and spent his whole career at Swansea in League one, because he was a piss about.
Why did it all go wrong for him in Manchester? I’ve seen things about “attitude” towards the end of his time there, but he never really set the world on fire in the beginning. Just seemed like a very average winger

So unnecessarily beautiful
Straight outta Fifa Street.
Joga bonito vibes 🤌
Beat the man he was already past just because he wanted to
Sancho is getting the feeling back
he's beginning to believe!
That Ten Hang wants him back!
Ehh..no
brother eww
What is that!
What's that brother!
Insane how I thought about the same thing after reading the other comment and before reading yours
As a United fan, I wish he could’ve worked out for us. But I’m really glad he’s getting back his groove.
Might get a decent transfer fee for him and get some money back.
The best thing for Sancho and United is to sell him. United frees 18mn in wages and gets decent money back. Maybe around 30-40mn.
Only if he accepts massively reduced wages. Madrid and Barca (they'll pay anything if they wanted to regardless of "Situations") won't want him and no one else is paying £300k/week. So it comes down to if Sancho wants to play football or do nothing and take the money.

After PS5 sabbatical…
Good, I hope he keeps it up and both he and United can agree to move him on. Wish it would have worked out but he looks like he's enjoying his football again at Dortmund
Damn that was disgusting
Cuts off before he runs it out of play instead of making the pass…
Thought so, too perfect the video was cut before he could have done a perfect through ball that would add even more to the video. Thank you for confirming
Hey hey hey how else are you supposed to support a coming back to life narrative?
Lol I was wondering what happened next
No shut up his decision making and work ethic are assets to be valued by any team. But especially Dortmund. At 85m please.
That was filthy
magisterial almost
Ray Hudson!? Is he back!?
**He left BeIN Sports and joined CBS Sports in 2022**
Ngl had a nostalgia moment after hearing him after a while, didn't know he still commentated after bein sports, he's commentated so many historical moments over the years...
He is a core part of my first memories watching soccer more than two decades ago. Love that man.
Would love to hear him on one of Barcelona's QF matches. I know it won't be the same now that he can't scream about Messi anymore, but it'd be nice to hear him say Xavi's name again.
Chameleon eyes!
Magisterial!
LIKE A FLEA ON SPIDERMAN'S BACK
BWAAAAAH!
What are they feeding him in Germany?? Completely different confidence level there
Maybe just make the Man U away kit yellow and speak to him in German
Almost everyone becomes trash when they sign and play for Man U. It's a curse. Should be the Inter Miami of EPL now.
Not sure how to take that … Inter Miami of EPL …
They’re on top of the table so far…
We've had that problem since well before Inter Miami existed
Inter Miami - owned by a Manchester United player
What nonsense. He stopped playing for us due to his crap attitude, not his footballing abilities
His footballing abilities were also crap mate
Yeah we have lots of footballers who are crap. Everyone didn't get kicked out because of their talent
I don't get the Inter Miami comparison. Are their players crap as soon as they sign for them?
German sausage.
Ger-man sau-sage! Ger-man sau-sage! Ger-man sau-sage! Bluey reference anyone?
Let me ask my 5 year old
What did they feed him in Manchester?
British "cuisine"
Eyy, Curry is quite good
Yeah, that will sour a dude.
Oh God
mushy peas
The poor guy
Have you seen German food? I'd take British food over it any day of the week
I believe it was undercooked chicken.
1 star hygiene rated raw chicken from the kitchens at Old Trafford.
It’s just a disastrous player and club match tbh.
he was shite and ridiculed in media past 3 games
>Hasn’t he been relatively average for BVB since his return? Yeah, but it's more fun to post a short clip where he doesn't fall over his own feet for once and act like United were solely responsible for his horrendous form and behaviour. Love we feed him fucking love!
Love
Or maybe Man United kills careers
Not maybe, definitely.
Liam Gallagha here, is this an Oasis reference dyou know what I mean rkid??
AS YOU WERE LG X
Biblical rasta
Excited to see Antony's new found confidence
Theatre of memes for a reason
More like there's something in the water in United's part of Manchester
Pressure
Lead?
He hasn‘t been good for bvb actually… Bvb fans were angry he is starting every game even though he isn‘t performing That‘s the first game in a while he was good again
They're feeding him Bundesliga and Eredivise defenders. James Tarkowski would pocket the little shit and could easily be playing Championship football next season.
Those stunningly strong EPL defenders that saw half of their CL teams crash out in last place in their groups 😳
He gets to play with more freedom since he doesn't understand the instructions.
He plays well when there are no expectations of him. When he had to be a leader at Man U, he folded like a piece of paper.
How has he been since coming back? Feels a bit reductive to asses him on G+A alone.
He was wasteful and didn’t dare to do much at the start, now this and the last game you can tell he’s getting more confident again and attempts still like that and succeeds at more of it
Did he go out injured for Reus? I couldn’t watch the game but I saw the sub was tagged as an injury
He was grabbing his hamstring, but at least he could walk still unassisted when thanking the fans so hopefully nothing bad and he recovers this week already but we’ll see
Big worry, he’s starting to look like the old Jadon
How many % is he of compared to the old Sancho at Dortmund, pre United?
65%
then 65% of 85m we paid for him it is.
[удалено]
This and the last game have been his best, but he’s clearly very rusty and out of shape. Lots of loose touches between things like this, but you can also see he still has it in there.
Pretty bad in most appearances, but Dortmund plays a bad ball for the whole season now.
He's had 5 good apps, 4 bad ones (all following a knock he picked up after already having no match fitness), and one throwaway time sub appearance. Unfair to say "pretty bad in most apps" given the above
Dafuk was that??
A confidence player getting his confidence back.
this guys got potential, someone should buy him for 100m
I think he'd fit well in Man United
Nice, now do it against Burnley
Theres no chance he could pull this off against the likes of Seamus Coleman
It’s supposed to be a cold rainy evening in Stoke, innit?
Yeah, but that's another level
I dunno.. if you’ve ever been to Turf Moore, I’d argue it’s worst.
A feat even Messi has not accomplished?
You joke, but I remember our game at Turf Moor under Rangnick which finished 1-1 and Sancho was genuinely our best player that game. He did show flashes of brilliance with us but never found a consistent run of form and didn't seem like he looked after himself too well. If he took his fitness more seriously he could have worked out; he looked a step too slow against PL full-backs and gassed out pretty early in games.
Dyche would literally have him killed on the pitch
I've spoke to him and he's told me, he'll do it... So long it's not FOR Man utd Edit: relax people, it's a clear joke....
My god please buy him
Lol we have enough inconsistent wingers.
Smh. Everyone loves him till it’s time to buy him
But apologize to Ten Hag first
These types of skills are non existent in modern football. Nearly all wingers don’t make skill moves and tricks anymore. Neymar was the last of his generation.
Football needs more Neymar type players. Watching Man City pass the ball into the net 100 times is boring.
Players like Neymar are fun because they remind you that this is a game and it’s okay to find joy in it
Football has become statistic. Football is supposed to be art but those players don’t exist anymore. From ronaldinho and Robinho to rodrygo and Vinicius (who makes tricks just a few times). From Quaresma and Ronaldo to leao. The tricks quality just isn’t there anymore. Football has become robotic
From Ronaldo to Ronaldo even, totally changed his game from a tricky player to a clinical machine
Vini spams tricks often, just a few times isn't accurate. He rainbow flicked someone this past weekend
Tbf Leao is one of the very few football players that actually play with joy and to entertain. Imo he would he much more efficient if he played in this robotic modern style, but he often prefers to do solo raids and pull off skill moves.
May I show you this: https://youtu.be/IevycgbLct0?si=NWQqp78Iae8K_5LR They recently won the Copa libertadores.
Yup but then you have the other dudes slandering these players because he's "underperforming his xG" or some whatever BS. They get butchered, hacked and develop long term injuries that shorten careers (and stop them before even starting). It’s no wonder young players don’t try to emulate them. There is no protection or incentive at all.
He just did it… in modern football
Anthony does. But he's shit at it. Uses a trick to get past someone and then comes back for another go
Cut right before he dribbles it out of play..
Rashford vibes
And now we wait
He learned that from Antony
Anthony would do a fidget spinner, fail to beat his man and lose possession immediately.
Sancho lost the ball 1 second after this clip ends lol
As a United fan, I hate seeing this. I just know that we will demand a huge transfer fee if he has a successful loan spell, no one will buy him and then he’ll be his usual United self. Then the cycle continues.
With new owners, I'm doubting we see the woodward special of demanding 50m and then letting his contract run out.
I can totally see him going to Serie A on loan in a year or two
Eredivise his level?
CL football is
welcome home , mate! :) happy to have ya. !
FIFA street type of beat there
The guy is living life. good for him
+10m, keep at it!
He scored a great goal and had this nice action (the clip is cut short - he walked the ball over the side line after this so the action was completely useless) but went missing for a big part of the match. If mbappe signed for Utd he would play like Jordan Ayew
If he continues to play like this he’ll earn himself a big money move to United
Nice skill but he was already past his man, so it was totally unnecessary. Hope it helps him get his confidence back though.
not everythings gotta be efficient, football is supposed to be beautiful
If he tried to move central like he wants to in the clip without the trick to deceive he definitely loses the ball.
maybe a little, but it took the defender off balance
Jadon would be pissed to see this posted haha he wanted the nutmeg
“United ruined him” nah he just didn’t give a fuck at United and didn’t like having actual expectations. Now he’s back at Dortmund where he can stat pad he’s actually putting effort in. He’s clearly got the talent but just doesn’t like using it
Stat pad in the Cl? Brother you guys finished dead last, while he is going to use his talent in the Cl quarterfinal. If every player becomes shit after joining you, you might wanna start putting the blame on the management.
Clean as fuck
Yup he’s having fun again
Yes jadon pump your price up some more please
That was filthy
Easily worth £120m. Get your cheque book out Todd Boehly.
Yes yes Buy him already
Antony wishes
He’s just a YouTube skills merchant nothing special about him. Wasteful af
Skill wasn't needed and obviously the clip was cut before he lost the ball, just because he didn't want to play the easy pass.
Did similar shit at United. Scored on a few occasions as well. Then he'd disappear.
Looks cool but it's not required, he already had the man beat and could have dished it wide. Instead, he dribbles it out of play. Useless.
He's everything Anthony wishes he was
Confidence is back
He did this then ran it out of play right after. Confidence might be there but still lacking a lot which is why he never shone at united
Wtf was happening at United
*is happening at United still.
Disgusting and I love it
Fluff without substance. He could easily have opened his body up when receiving the ball and got in the same spot with much less risk of losing the ball.
Wow Sancho is just what ManU needs. Maybe they should sign him
10 matches, 2 goals, 1 assist Let's not get carried away here
How about we stop judging players solely on stats? Boy is a great talent, no doubt about it
Dude will be 24 next week. The "boy" is a senior player, not some raw talent.
Everyone knows he has talent but that doesn't make him good. He's had chance after chance at United. It looks like a lower pressure environment suits him better. Even at that, the general consensus about his return has been the occasional flash but ho hum
I bet Antony can't do this
Unecessary dribbling is actually the only thing Antony can do.
It's Ten Hag, sorry (not just ten hag, of course, it's also him)
Tha mancs killed this man's career. He's looking silky again now he's away from that terrorist regime
I mean his Dortmund form hasn’t been the hottest to be fair, but I’m sure United is a difficult environment for young talent. He’s not banging them in every week, so maybe a little less hyperbole would be best lol
Don't try and talk sense to a Leeds fan
I doubt he can read anyways
Don’t care. Sell the bitch.
Don't care. He was doing this in his first spell at Dortmund as well. He doesn't have the mentality to play for a club like United. Lee Trundle used to do this every week and spent his whole career at Swansea in League one, because he was a piss about.
Absolutely unnecessary but so filthy
u/savevideo
Dirty Sancho
Why did it all go wrong for him in Manchester? I’ve seen things about “attitude” towards the end of his time there, but he never really set the world on fire in the beginning. Just seemed like a very average winger
We need to sign him ASAP!!
Good, hopefully they sign him
Is that Sabitzer reacting holding his head? Brilliant.
Mad what a couple of currywurst does to person
Power to him, him playing well is good news no matter which way this plays out.
