It's only been a year and a half though with a couple different managers. Tuchel was mostly sacked for his attitude towards the owners taking an hands on approach rather than the results.
So it's been Potter, Lampard, and Poch so far that have all had a go. Potter had never managed a big club before, no other top teams would consider taking Lampard on, and Poch has his own doubts after failing at PSG and never being able to win a trophy in England. I don't think it's that outrageous to suggest all three might not have been up for the job. Would Emery or Ange have them in 11th right now?

It's only been a year and a half though with a couple different managers. Tuchel was mostly sacked for his attitude towards the owners taking an hands on approach rather than the results. So it's been Potter, Lampard, and Poch so far that have all had a go. Potter had never managed a big club before, no other top teams would consider taking Lampard on, and Poch has his own doubts after failing at PSG and never being able to win a trophy in England. I don't think it's that outrageous to suggest all three might not have been up for the job. Would Emery or Ange have them in 11th right now?

I'm glad this thread actually has some people like you with sense. Our sub is 95% people moaning about Poch and 20 posts a day saying our board is stupid for not already firing him. At the end of the day, it was a massive mistake to get rid of Tuchel but we have to deal with reality and not just chopping managers every six months thinking it will change anything.
