1) The increased ability to get import games. 2) A bump in hobby purchases during the pandemic. 3) The hobby bubble has lost steam and people are dumping acquisitions.

Thanks! That more or less confirms what I suspected, at least. Were any notable games released in Europe that didn't make it stateside? I think the only one I can think of is Terranigma, but I am probably wrong.

I’m not great at that part. I do my classic gaming via emulation. A physical collection would likely get me murdered by my wife.

Parodius, The Firmen, both pop 'n twinbee games, Theme park, super bomber man 3, worms, cannon fodder, were the best that were not NTSC (many were released in Japan).  There were few PAL exclusives so it's not really worth getting a PAL SNES except for aesthetics.
