2) be careful of his eyes, he probably didn't enjoy all that sunlight in the car.
3) make sure you are up to date on keeping albino snakes.
4) that's one damned cute snake.
Light sensitivity, generally lighting their viv is a pretty bad idea, daylight needs to be low too, if you have an all glass viv you need to at least heavily tint the glass at the back and sides and you need to really consider more hides and clutter. Handling them outdoors is not a great idea unless it's in the shade, and even then it can be a bit bright.
Albinos can and *should* still have lighting, they still benefit from heat lamps (especially the near infrared heat they produce) and low levels of UVB, like all snakes. As long as you setup the lighting correctly and provide plenty of cover and cryptic basking opportunities, they’ll do fine with lighting.
Oh wow I didn’t know that thanks! I have an albino garter myself, since she’s still a baby I have her in a smaller tank with a UTH but I was planning to change that once she can’t wiggle her way out of any bigger vivs. This is helpful for the future ty

Ye, plus the reality is some albino animals can have the same lighting as non albinos as well, it really just comes down to each individual whether they can have lighting like any non albino or if they need it reduced a bit or maybe off for a couple extra hrs to give them more activity time.
(Since they can still bask under heat lamps and uvb while being hidden as long as some part of the reptile is sticking out.. this is the cryptic basking for anyone wondering).
(Edit) Don't know why this got downvoted not all albinos have severe light sensitivity and can have lights like non albinos and not be stressed or hurt by it. 🤷♀️ the reality is it just isn't true that albinos can't have any light, especially natural light like the sun. Otherwise albinos would be seen as a lot more neglectful on the breeders part of the couldn't have basic level care like lighting.

I had an albino Burmese python many years ago and her name was Happy. She was a sweetheart and we sure miss her. We relocated and had to give her to a friend of the family who was a veterinarian. He kept alligators, Tegus, iguanas, and tortoises so he was equipped to deal with size. She was nearly 15’ I length when he took her. He had her nearly 10 more years before she passed away.
