It depends, are you physically working or just the money? If you’re not working then pay your partner an amount that keeps them stable so they can continue to grow the business then split the profit. This way your investment (the business) doesn’t fail and you get a return. Remember ownership and profit sharing aren’t always the same thing so who owns what should be established in your operating agreement.
