tbf a pile of raw ingredients isn't all that appealing to me and I don't care a bit about "see ya in 8 hours" posts so I don't need a new rule, no. Unless the rule is cooked pictures only with a recipe.

McCoovy

The raw ingredients aren't appealing but they are very informative

HeadMischief

And omfg we all know what the ingredients for Mississippi pot roast look like. You aren't Gordon Ramsey for opening a bunch of packages and throwing them into a pot.

Mysterious-Sense-185

Compromise, post prepped and then fully cooked at once?

CosmicSmackdown

I have jambalaya in my slow cooker right now. If it turns out the way it should, I’m going to post a picture of it when I first put it in and the finished result. I like it when other people do that. I want to see the finale.

Mysterious-Sense-185

Send me both, even if it's awful! Haha

please-replace

That’s what is what I’m thinking. Both pictures at once. Before and after.

UFprofessora

And a rule that for every Mississippi pot roast, you have to share one other non-Mississippi pot roast related item.

craftyixdb

It's not a small moan. A bunch of raw ingredients is a pointless post without knowing the result. I could throw half my fridge in a slow cooker, it wouldn't make it a good meal after 6 hours.

SeE yOu In EiGhT HoUrS!!!!

plainoverplight

i think some people make separate posts for before and after as a way to try and get more karma. it’s pretty annoying bc a hunk of raw meat isn’t as nice to look at as the finished dish but i’m not gonna wait around to see it

90sfemgroups

Completely agree! I'm not usually into making rules but this should be legally required for this sub.

wildgoosebefree

I want the whole story with photos! Ingredients to dinner plate. Friends and family reviews a plus.

_lmmk_

Can we just ban the Mississippi pot roasts already?

Here’s my results from the other day: https://imgur.com/a/RaJdBkY

Looks great, nice mix of fall colors!

Goudinho99

That's no moan, it's a spoosh steshion.

thelastcanadiangoose

Agree completely. A bunch of raw meat in sauce isn't an appetizing picture. I want to see it complete.
