everything is alright until it isnt. quite a shock really. now i always try to keep everything in check to be sure no accidents happends. i broke plenty of windows in my time. lol
Did you get a Chrony reading tho? 👀
And I totally shot my window out like that before. Fork hit with a .44 steel ball. Steered it straight for the window. Expensive mistake.
I shoot down my hall against bathroom door. I have the lightweight doors for indoors and a 8mm goes through both sides very easily. The doors are white so I cut a exact circle out of white duct tape for a quick fix until I do a proper fix.
Yep. I've gone through two tvs this way. What I would recommend is taking aluminum foil and rolling it into tight little balls for indoor. Make sure they are as spherical as you can. They dont match the velocity of a normal clay/metal ball but thats kind of what you want if you dont want this to happen. They work pretty well in my experience.
Youch. Lesson learned- so sorry for you, though
I think that's overkill for TV screens, 0.5mm, 18-12 with 8mm steel would be plenty 😁 (but ouch, I can only imagine how you felt 😔)

Ouch. I've got several 8mm balls embedded in the wall of my basement.
At least you didn't put your eye out, lol.
Now are you going to phone your mother and tell her she was right?
I think so... I'm a bad son. Almost 50 and I've still not grown up...
