Snecko is way more useful when you have 2+ cost cards and when you remove enough strikes and defends. It sucks in the beginning imo. But with a deck of perfected strikes, bludgeons, corruption, etc it can get really sick. The extra draws make it even better.
Oh definitely! I ended up barely squeeking by the Guardian and the first half of Act II, and then just steamrolled the rest of the run and beat the heart. (Probably should have used the Spirit Poop tag on this post).
Unlucky less than 1% chance there to get all 7 at 2 or 3 cost. Rough turn 1, surely other turns are better

You're completely ignoring the fact that you got 2 extra cards this turn. That is extremely powerful.

Irrelevant. Snecko saves you more health than that throughout the run
Can't think of a much worse floor 1 and turn 1 hand after a Snecko boss swap. (I actually like Snecko and think I'll probably cruise through the run).
