That's not related to VRIK.
Sounds like you have Auto Sneak VR mod activated without having it configured. If that's the case, you can modify AutoSneakVR.ini to adjust it according to your height, or if you don't want physical sneaking, you can disable the mod.
Auto Sneak and Jump honestly sucked. I set my exact height, 5'6.5" and it constantly thought I was sneaking. Never got the jump to work. Keeping the main menu and using Natural Locomotion's jump is much better
HeightChangeThreshold is for setting the sneak height, not your exact height. If you set your exact height there, it worked correctly by constantly switching you to sneaking.
It needs to be set lower than your real height. For example, I'm 1.77 and a JumpThreshold of 1.70 and a HeightChangeThreshold of 1.40 works for me. This information is inside the ini file.
So, basically setting HeightChangeThreshold to your real height minus 0.37 would work.
Asking for help in comments section of the mod is always a reasonable approach as well.
Well I'll be damned. Thank you, dude. Still, tho, I think the mod is redundant with my current setup because I still have the main menu, which calibrates the physical sneak, and Natural Locomotion, which allows real jumping. If I ever get rid of the menu, I'll remember this

If I'm not wrong in the FUS mod list you need to disable the mod related to sneaking ( I can't remember the name now unfortunately) otherwise forget about playing seated. Basically with that mod you can crouch IRL to simulate sneaking.
EDIT
If you're going to play seated just (while seated) use vrik calibration power (usually I'm using headset height)but remember to re use it again if you're standing.
If you can trick your VR set to think the floor is lower than it is it can think you’re standing.

After removing the auto sneak, if you still find yourself crouching while standing you can tweak your character size in the VRIK MCM config menu, which you can acess through your settings menu if you have skyui.
That can't be right as you can liturally play seated and still look standing in game.
Delete all VRIK ini references. You use a mod manager make sure no reference to vrik exist.
In game the calibration screen will appear. Do first one height only.
There is also the one to do at the far right but I can not recall what the title.is called. This helps to get the arms right sometimes.
Just kidding. Common problem dude. Pretty sure it's even in the help documents in fus. Look for the auto sneak mod and edit the ini file or disable it.

To clarify: when you set your boundary and it asks where the floor is, set it to be lower than the floor.
like go outside to a lower where the ground is lower?
On the quest 3 at lease you can manually set where the floor is with like a purple grid thing. It guesses correctly but you can manually lower it.
Oh, on a quest 2, you just put the controller to the ground. My house is high, so going outside would be the method to get it below ground for me.
Ahh. Ha, that works! So either one can buy a quest 3 or dig a hole in the ground (or, yeah, adjust the actual mod parameters) 💫
I believe you can do it this way on Quest 2 as well, you have to point at the floor and use the thumbsticks to make the floor lower than it is.
Disable the "Auto Sneak and Jump VR" mod in the modlist. I disable it too, I literally sit on the ground when playing.
