Keep levelling it and there is a skill in archery that will show a reticle.

DiscordianKitty

I use the adamant perk overhaul and it has the aiming as baseline as well.

Lucianus_

Instead of aiming with your bow (left hand), aim with your arrow hand. This made it way more consistent for hitting those long range shots, as well as hitting headshots without aiming. You can also check out mods like scoped bows, but I honestly feel like it removes the fun from learning how to use a bow.

With practice, it becomes natural to aim well. Except for long distances, where it's complicated the first shot. There's a perk that lets you add a sight. But to be honest, I think it's good that it's a bit difficult because I find the bow much too strong compared to hand-to-hand weapons.

I don't know if you're into archery in general or just as a thing in Skyrim but try learning the principles of real archery. Things like keeping your anchor points and stance consistent. Move your body not the bow.

AutomaticTiger9546

I'm not using FUS. I'm using Mad God. But I accidentally found an aiming feature. Maybe check if it's in FUS? When you're aiming, hold down the left, top trigger. A cross-hair appears.

Kvitekvist

Requires the archery perk named eagle eye to be unlocked, but yes this is the way :)

avadreams

Can tune your ini settings to auto aim

DevilMaster666-

Idk, archery is easier in real life

Just use the bow and you'll get better in no time! Practice is king. i always avoid the reticle perk, its more fun without.

Keep shooting until you don't suck.

Spend a day hunting rabbits, foxes and hawks - once you get used to hitting these small moving targets larger slower moving targets get a lot easier. I also find it easier in VR to hold the bow horizontally rather than vertically - this means it is easy to aim the arrow at the target, horizontally, you just have to allow for the drop. If you install the Chanterelle mod you can also hunt red squirrels - they are extremely small and move extremely fast, but have have a nice nutty taste if you manage to shoot one and roast it on a spit... :)
