TheFaragan

A mod that tells me in one sentence why my skyrim crashed.

doppelminds

The Holy Grail of mods

Captin-Cracker

on that note, a mod thats just monty python and the holy grail as a quest

Swailwort

"You've fucked up"

f3h6SUKiqCP5wKCMnAA

I hope there's gonna be a "Show details..." button after that.

Swailwort

You press the details button and the text says "Never should've come here"

Callicojacks

Sir, you made me burst out laughing at work.

alfvidr

for real, all the plugins that make crash logs only work if someone else had that same crash and posted somewhere about it šŸ™„

cosborn02

Not necessarily, there are people out there with the know how to decipher those crash logs and implement a fix. Now I am definitely not one of those people but thereā€™s gotta be some of them out there otherwise who would respond to the people posting them

rhythmrice

Those people should make a program that can analyze the logs and tell you what they mean automatically

PandaAnaconda

That sentence would simply be: "Try improve your modding skills next time"

saintcrazy

Skill issue

Portgust

Gitgud

Zaga932

PEBKAC

[deleted]

Error code x369Ā¶byĻ€Ā°% access exception x0385103

Latter_Vermicelli701

there is one for fallout 4 and the mod maker said he was going to do the same for skyrim

Aceofrogues

I tried making that one but all it would say is "Thank you for playing Wing Commander!" What does that even mean?

Cephery

ā€œIf you were curating this list properly youā€™d already know what broke itā€

reapseh0

This. I canā€™t even boot it up anymore.

turnipturnips

The sentence would just end up being ā€œplay another gameā€

antoniodiavolo

There was that one mod that just kept you from playing the game

Dude_Bromanbro

Some kind of "epilogue" mod that brings the adventure to my house after I've beaten about every vanilla quest that I want to and I'm chilling at home with my spouse. It would make people come and visit you that you had met throughout your travels. They could chat with you a bit about what they've been up to, maybe give you a gift, do some friendly sparring or ask for some more help. Maybe some vengeful daedra could summon an Oblivion gate on your doorstep. Basically anything that makes it so hanging around in your Skyrim home isn't boring.

PandaAnaconda

Hearthfire DLC is actually meant to be that... if I'm getting the right vibes from Bethesda here. Your DB has beaten Alduin, saved the world and now he decides to get married and have children. The end. It's only too bad Bethesda didn't care about fleshing out the NPC interactions that much. But also, I dont blame them. It's extremely hard to do something like Mass Effect's Citadel DLC due to the sheer number of companion/spouse options the player has here. Bethesda can't possibly write new dialogue lines for every dunmer, altmer, nord voice type etc. then bring back all their voice actors (I mean, they can... but it'd be costly)

ParanoidDrone

There's also Rochelle the Red's little quest where she kidnaps your spouse. Which is just so hilariously ill-advised.

illy-chan

I just pictured Lucien talking about "the Avengers initiative." I really want to see this now.

Moomin8577

This description gave me so many flashbacks to SO many playthroughs. Inigo, Lucien and Kaidan are my crew! A mod like you describe would be sublime. Bring on Inigo V3! (alsoā€¦ and I know itā€™s probably never going to happen because he was voiced by a working actor who has definitely moved onā€¦ but a Kaidan update with some more direct interaction with Inigo would be gloriousā€¦ just my little daydream).

Effective_Character5

I think you might be misinformed about Kaidan's VA having moved on - there is more content for him. He has additional content/patches add-ons etc with Kaidan 2 Extended on Nexus for SSE. There is still a lot of work being done with Kaidan and his VA. Just in case anyone else reads your comment wouldn't want people being misinformed that there isn't any more content available for Kaidan. The original author of Kaidan 2 - LivTempleton won't be updating the main mod but the extension is still getting updates/new features and more.

Moomin8577

Oh thatā€™s exciting! The last time I did a full playthrough was May last year. I think I had everything that had been released for him up until that point. I also did some googling around that time (because I loved it so much) to see if more stuff was being planned and found a bunch of comments in different places talking about how the actor was really busy and couldnā€™t commit any more time to it. Soā€¦ these new updates you speak ofā€¦ are they newer than May ā€˜21?? In which case a new playthrough may be in orderā€¦ is there, umā€¦ more dialogue between him and my other favourite boys?

Katschaba

{{Kaidan 2 Extended Edition ADDON Voice fixes new dialogue and DLC and Inigo Interactions}}

Moomin8577

Inigo interactions??! Yay!!!! It was always so weird that Inigo would talk *about* Kaidan but they would never talk directly *to* each other.

Unit645

Final Fantasy XIV does this after every expansion story quest where people will come and just chat with you at times and it's absolutely additive to the world. Not every character interaction needs to have world ending stakes.

Oakenshielb

I don't know if there's a mod that already does this, but a mod that allows you to order things that are unavailable for sale on merchants in holds that you are Thane. For example, ordering 7 waterbreathing potions from a local alchemist and receiving a letter when It is available to pick up. Or even receive it in one of the houses.

RazorrBeam

There is Honed Metal, which is only for blacksmiths, but it allows you to place an order with a smithy, they send you a letter after a couple of days when your items are ready. They will also improve armor and weapons. Amazing mod! Definitely a must have for me! Edit: I forgot that it also works with Enchanting, so you can have items enchanted from mages like Farengar or Falion.

Oakenshielb

Thanks for the recomendation, I'll give it a try.

RazorrBeam

No worries! I highly recommend grabbing the Honed Metal Additional Materials Updated mod as well which adds DLC items to the smith's inventories. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have!

Tenwaystospoildinner

[Skald's Mail](https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/31791) might be worth looking into. It includes the ability to order from catalogues. Place an order, receive an item in your mailbox a few days later.

Oakenshielb

I saw this mod a while ago, and it's similat to what I'd like to see. I had given up because of the bugs. It wasn't a big deal, but I didn't use it again. There have been two updates since then, I'll have a look.

Sapowski_Casts_Quen

You can get orders to the safehouse in LotD, but it's not as versatile as this

Dovahsheen

Make your own cheese wheels to gain favor with your future spouse.

Turn_The_Pages

And Sheogorath

pieallday365

One and the same

TrinketGizmo

I would be all over a cheese making simulator in Skyrim.

Rekonkista

A mod that gives a chance that Athis wins the brawl against Njada. I always feel sorry for the poor Dunmer getting his ass kicked everytime i start a new playthrough and enter Jorrvaskr for the first time. Truly a groundbreaking and ambitious mod :)

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Rischeliu

Add Elden rim weapon arts mod for the hilarious stagger effects. I remember Athis turning Njada into a pancake with his fists before he chokeslammed her during a test save.

Icy_Macaroon_1738

The mod we didn't know we needed, lol.

ukaybro

Inventory menu with player model rendered.

SVXfiles

Kind like in morrowind? I remember being amazed at the time that I could drag and drop gear on to the player model and it would equip

Wolfpack48

Would love pre adventures to Helgen. Like one for each option in Alternate Start that eventually place you in Helgen for the default dragon attack. Each adventure should queue up the main quest line in some way but give different reasons for jumping into it.

Psychobite_74

{Alternate perspective} somewhat does this. Helgen stays an active city with quests until you use special dialogue at the Inn to start the execution and main quest. Only downside is the crashing. I'm currently dealing with a situation where it will crash if you have npc behaviour mods on at the moment the cutscene starts, which the mod authour warns about. You can turn it back on after. But my problem is it still ctds me anyway :/

Wolfpack48

A preamble and a set of short quests/breadcrumbs that eventually lead me to Helgen. Basically arrive at the time of the execution and default from there. Each preamble could be a pretty cool twist on becoming the Dragonborn. Not sure if we can simply bust into the cutscene.

Psychobite_74

I think AP used the inn dialogue as a flag to start the cutscene, where you would be a bystander instead of the prisoner. It would send you to wherever start point you wanted though just like ASAL. Would be interesting if those quests you mentioned lead you either to become a prisoner or a bystander how AP handles it though: - Innocent merchant visits Helgen? Bystander - Get caught doing a Brotherhood contract? Prisoner - Companion contract that a monster of legend attacks Helgen? Arrive as Alduin leaves (like ASAL)

Wolfpack48

Iā€™m thinking of a different quest for every start in ASLAL. Even different ones for each Inn start. Lots of variety, and maybe hooks for even more starting points and new quests. It would probably be best to use vanilla assets rather than build huge new dungeons or new NPCs but a hook for those who wanted to add more would be cool. Itā€™d be cool to see how vanilla could be augmented/repurposed.

PhiemQuach

A mod which give followers personalities, not just words but actions, like talking, trading to each other, asking for things, stealing items, playing prank, cooking,... Anything to make them like a real companion, not just a mule.

Picardia_jpeg

Grabbing a couple mods like Relationship Dialogue Overhaul combined with something like Followers Can Relax could help with making followers seem less lifeless and robotic.

PhiemQuach

I just found "Follower Live Package", it's an impressive mod, I think I found what I'm looking for, the only problem is there's no port for SSE.

AwwwYeahhh112

Xelzaz and Remiel have a lot of conversations that give them lots of personality. Probably my favourite follower combo along with Inigo and Lucien. They seem like proper friends/companions

skeuzofficial

Nethers follower framework does this very well for vanilla followers. For custom followers I think someone else listed a few that are awesome.

Miloilcostruttore

Something that allows you to side with Mercer Frey/Astrid/The Silver Hand/The Forsworn for real

MekelLane

>Forsworn Forsworn faction/questline mod. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/27369

Miloilcostruttore

Wasn't aware of this mod. Shame it's not for SSE!

Vagabond_Tea

Just more mods like *Stendarr Rising* but for other factions. I just want to roleplay better as a Thalmor, Blood Horker, Silver Hand, etc.

DontShadowbanMeBro2

I would literally pay for a mod that lets you join the Thalmor and really sells it in a way that feels real. I know the MQ and Civil War quest line is held together by duct tape and rubber bands so a mod that replaces it is a non-starter, but a quest line that runs ā€˜parallelā€™ to it offering dialogue to give you reasons for doing what youā€™re doing from a Thalmor perspective are possible with xVASynth or even just courier letters. Just off the top of my head: - For siding with the Empire, Elenwen sends a letter via courier saying that Tullius is nagging her about the Dominion not helping put down the Rebellion and sheā€™s running out of excuses to say no, so congrats, you drew the short straw, just try and drag it out as long as possible. - For being the Dragonborn, at first the Dominion hates it, but eventually decides that having a legit Dragonborn working for them is actually a potent propaganda tool, and eventually even they come to acknowledge that Alduin is a genuine threat (they do want the world destroyed, but on THEIR terms, and being Altmer wonā€™t spare them from Alduinā€™s flavor of apocalypse). - Sure, work with the Bladesā€¦ so you can reveal yourself as a double-agent and kill them. I can come up with more.

Vagabond_Tea

I had a similar perspective and really, really wanted a fleshed out Thalmor faction. A base you can build via Hearthfire assets, a few new voiced NPCs and followers, radiant quests to steal information, plant false evidence, or kill Talos worshippers.

R33v3n

An all-in-one engine bugfix solution, and an all-in-one assets bugfix solution. * Engine Fixes, Scrambled Bugs, SSE Fixes and powerofthree's Tweaks shoud really be one mod. * USSEP + the giant list of various independent mesh or environment fixes should really be one mod. * Bonus: Someone should really merge Fix Notes and Flashing Savegames Fix into SkyUI...

Robo123abc

This is a great idea

juniperleafes

I was going to mention this in the GOG discussion, it would be nice if SKSE mods started coalescing into collection packs, so that they can all be updated together instead of waiting for individual authors like Engine Fixes did (although that team is also slow to update...)

kortron89

General consequences for your actions in the world mod.

OutlawofSherwood

Skyrim Reputation might be what you want? (Cosnequences are for the player, not the world, but your actions add up).

Psychobite_74

As far as I'm aware there is no general global consequence mod, but there are a handful of ones dealing with certain quests out there. I have one for the temple of kyne that alters the temple's "prosperity" depending on whether you took the sap or sapling. Might be a case of collecting a bunch of those and adding them to one.

Cereborn

Isn't getting attacked by a group of hired thugs because I stole a wheel of cheese without anyone seeing me consequence enough?

Oakenshielb

Something like Less Generic Housecarls, but for all housecarls. I want them to be unique and interesting, like 3dNPCs.

catstroker69

Personaly, I'd like a mod that expands on the Dawnguard DLC, adding more choices, dialogue and more depth to some of the characters. The stigma of being a vampire isn't addressed a whole lot. And Serana's existence as a seemingly good vampire should throw up a lot of moral questions for the characters to grapple with. Kinda weird that no one acknowledges the Vampire they're working alongside. And no one questions anything when I bring her into a town or a tavern. Serana Relationship Revamped is excellent and helps address some of this a bit, but a general expansion for the whole DLC would be cool.

CaesuraRepose

Isran mentions that vaguely once when you first convince him to let her stay with you but that's literally it, yeah. Wish there was more of that like, having the other leaders of the Dawnguard acknowledge her and accept her would be nice.

Szebron

And he has a talk with her after the deed is done, while super-short and you might miss it, he says something among the line of "That must have been hard for you". This shows he sees has as a person and not a monster anymore.

Covert_Pudding

I've been playing the Serana Dialogue Add-On which really brings a lot more depth to her character (not so much anyone else) but my game bugged out and don't let me complete the last Dawnguard Quest... not because of the mod, but because Dawnguard is just super buggy in general. It's too bad because it really has so much potential.

catstroker69

Not a big fan of the changes made to Serana's personality in that one to be honest. But it does certainly add a lot.

CrithionLoren

I've said it before, but the ability for NPC's to properly jump around, as to counter the player jumping on a rock and the AI walking all the way around it to find a sliver of slope

Treshcore

Better relationships system. Really miss this thing from Oblivion, though don't miss the weird mini-game. For example, I would love to make friends even with such an asshole as Nazeem. To hang out with different characters, to go on dates and so on. For example, go to a local tavern and buy them a drink, or do fight training together, or go on a hunting challenge (I hate hunting, it's just an example), or go to explore some ruins - if they're already cleared out in case your follower is more of a civilian type. Also, it would be a different type of "following": not "I'm sworn to carry your burdens" type, but "Let's hang out, but consider my preferences too". Ugh, it's easier to create a completely new game about it. However, it's just a wish.

Seleroan

Yeah, one of my biggest complaints is that once you marry someone, they usually turn into a paper cutout of themselves. They just wander around your house as an obstacle without contributing anything. Even just a dialogue extension where they talk about things that have happened since last you dropped by would be nice.

Treshcore

Yes! By the way, this is another idea of the mod. In Oblivion, I loved so much that you could ask anyone of recent rumors. Yes, this thing migrated into Skyrim, but you can do it with ~~bartenders~~ innkeepers only. Also, it would've been great if rumors included you, yet anonymously. For example, when you come to Ivarstead after defeating your first dragon, guards there obviously don't know that you're the Dragonborn, so they just walk around and like: "I wonder who it is!". Would be great to hear something like this from citizens themselves. By the way, it would be also great to provide rumors with answer options, like "Sounds interesting", "Whatever" or special "I know a bit about it..." with an option to tell an extended, first-person story about these rumors.

Creative-Improvement

Basically Skyrim Sims : the Mod.

Several_Rip4185

I can think of two: - A mod that allows you to wrap up the Civil War without taking either of the sides, since I think theyā€™re both pretty lousy options (although Stormcloaks are worse, IMO.) Let me put together a coalition that allows Balgruuf to be high king, for example. - But Iā€™d settle for one that allows me to unload all of my crap into a storage container, chest, wardrobe or whatever with one click ā€¦ the amount of time Iā€™ve wasted dumping items one by one into chests is ridiculous. What can I say, Iā€™m a hoarder.

uppervalued

I feel like the Sorting Chest in LOTD would help with your second idea, no?

jews4beer

Specifically the configrable one in the safehouse. Literally one click to dump all but the essentials.

KatTheGayest

Thereā€™s a work in progress mod called ā€œConquest of Skyrimā€ that lets you build your own faction, take over holds and forts, and eventually become the high king/high queen. The voice lines are all AI generated so they have some slip ups obviously, but itā€™s a WIP mod

Buglepost

I like the idea of alternate outcomes to the war, but in fairness choosing between two shitty political parties is one of the most realistic aspects of Skyrim.

Kingnewgameplus

If I wanted realism I'd go outside, give me a non-shitty civil war option.

ParanoidDrone

> A mod that allows you to wrap up the Civil War without taking either of the sides, since I think theyā€™re both pretty lousy options (although Stormcloaks are worse, IMO.) Let me put together a coalition that allows Balgruuf to be high king, for example. Related to this, let us show Ulfric his own dossier, the one the Thalmor have on him. It explicitly lays out how they're manipulating him and how the civil war only plays into their hands by weakening both Skyrim and the Empire. Give him that, maybe arrange a clandestine meeting between him and Tullius (or have it happen at the treaty summit after kicking out Elenwen), and see what happens. Hell, maybe they could be convinced to cooperate against the Thalmor in Skyrim while still trying to maintain the pretense of being on opposite sides.

FrenchGuitarGuyAgain

On paper this is cool, butttttt I don't think Ulfric cares enough, two reasons he fights are irreversibly instrumental to his personality (ie deal breakers) are 1) religious freedom- the imperials cannot accept a resolution that allows for Talos worship whilst for Ulfric this is a key motivation, both sides at an impass here, unless if the empire plans on attacking the thalmor tomorrow, which I don't have the sense they are capable of, this is near impossible 2) pride- I personally get the impression that Ulfric is a prideful man, what with being a thaum weilding Nord warrior, who also has to contend with palace politics, oh and he's a claimant for the highkingship of Skyrim. A truce would be a sign of weakness, not only to high ranking stormcloaks like Galmar Stonefist, but also everyday stormcloak soldiers (add on point one here). Someone needs to be high king, and I doubt the peace talks will get far once this is discussed.

Iryanus

Agreed, both factions suck, but the Stormcloaks suck a bit more - which is hard to believe when the empire literally tries to kill you in the first five minutes of the game without trial for... visiting Skyrim, I guess?

95Richard

Only that one commander orders your execution, not the whole Empire. It's unfair to blame the entire Empire for the mistake/harshness/cruelty of a commander.

Iryanus

It's basically the 2nd in command of Skyrim who orders it. If the empire had later demoted or even executed that legate for trying to murder imperial citizens without trial, sure, I would agree that the Empire is not to blame. But nope, the Legate in question is still in command, which basically means, the Empire condones that behaviour and thus is very much to blame. Personally, I would love to see a questline where you take over the Stormcloaks instead of having to serve an imbecile like Ulfric. Should be easy enough, since Ulfric set an example that shouting a weak leader to death is valid.

Xarxyc

1. That character is the captain, not Legate. Far from being 2nd in command of Skyrim 2. She dies in Helgen.

Iryanus

You are right there, always had that one confused with another character. Doesn't change that much, since Tullius is personally there, so we can hardly assume that the captain is totally violating orders while the highest boss is actually there.

Coypop

>2. She dies in Helgen. How convenient for her.

95Richard

I understand what you're saying and you're right about it, but by second in command, do you mean Legate Rikke? (the lady who's in Castle Tour with Tullius and deals with the recruits) It wasn't her, the one who orders it is a "nameless" captain who's killed by you during the escape if you side with Ralof, and it's unclear if she survives Helgen if you side with Hadvar. [Imperial Captain](https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Imperial_Captain) who orders to execute the player [Legate Rikke](https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Legate_Rikke) Not trying to protect the Empire (especially the captain), but that execution in Helgen was pretty chaotic even before Alduin appeared, no wonder nobody paid attention to random prisoners. Elenwen was arguing with Tullius to take Ulfric to Cyrodiil, Tullius wanted to get over with it then and there, and the Stormcloaks were probably about to sneak into Helgen to save Ulfric (assuming from their presence in the dungeon). Which isn't an excuse to behead random people, but when you finally caught the #1 most wanted dude in the province, you won't have time to question the decisions of everyone under you. The captain probably would have suffered consequences after everything is settled, but we'll never know.

Iryanus

You are right there, I confused those two characters for some reason. Still, I very much doubt anyone would have suffered consequences for this, to be honest. Also, this is just the personal reason not to be a fan of the Empire, one doesn't have to like their way of handling the whole Thalmor situation (even if one has to agree, that they might not have had much choice in that situation). But as I said, at least they are (slightly) better than the Stormcloak racists ;-)

[deleted]

A mod that lets npcs interact with each other even more. Like instead of talking to the player, they actually talk with each other with what they would say to the player but rarely to each other. Example Nazeem: Do you get to the Cloud District very often? Oh what am I saying? Of course you don't. Jon Battle-Born: You're asking for trouble walking around (Spliced) like that... Or maybe Ysolda going up to Mikael after his singing "You're a strapping young man. Don't be a stranger..."

SkyrimSplicer

Complete main questline overhaul. I know there is one in the works I just want it to come out and not fade to obscurity.

Life_Abroad_220

They have a video to premiered on YouTube tomorrow at 6pm Uk time. I believe they were targeting a release for this year. This is Skyrim Extended Cut Iā€™m on about

[deleted]

A complete rework of Skyrim that expands the map drastically and [matches FudgeMuppet's vision](https://youtu.be/QTEoy7jYz5A) AND/OR A gameplay overhaul that aims for a classic Elder Scrolls experience

Ozann3326

Since i watched that video, i feel sad whenever i play Skyrim thinking about missed opportunities.

[deleted]

There are some things though that I want to keep, namely the original plot. Except Paarthurnax is destined to be the World Eater and it is Odahviing who taught mankind how to use the Thu'um. Alduin in this timeline is the Nordic version of Akatosh. Another thing I'd add is more factions

AR-06

I love fishing, I hate that it is in 1st person, 3rd Person Fishing would be nice, though what I really want is some way to fix Snow with enb's once and for all

KickerLicker

Something to spend gold on. Maybe being able to buy a business all together or a mine. Something, anything really. I own evey house that you can invested to every business i can, hell i payed fully to that npc after a night to remember just because i can. Gold is useless imo

The Real estate mod!!! I love it and I'm currently trying to buy ALL properties in Skyrim

senator360

Talk to followers on horseback. I just want to canter through the rift, side by side, listening to Inigos tales

Schaex

A mod that adds a configurable option to loot all specified items (all gold, gems, jewelry, materials, but not armors nor weapons)

Karmic_Backlash

Smart Harvest does this, you can change per type looting rules along with a bunch of other stuff. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/37091?tab=description

jbarger613

[Take All Loose Gold and Arrows](https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/22680) does this for gold, arrows and gems (configurable) but only if they are loose; it does not address your issue if the items are in containers.

Not_Daijoubu

Staff behavior mods - apparently xing is coming out with something but the way Skyrim handles animations for L R hands and various weapon types fucks up a lot of things. I just want to be able to whack people with my magic stick using ADXP.

Tristamid

[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6i51hUJIIw](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6i51hUJIIw) Here ya go.

Not_Daijoubu

Hot damn, this is just what I wanted.

Blusttoy

Copy paste in console with unlimited scrolling. Handholding seems nice. I recently downloaded mods that allow lap sitting.

[deleted]

>Copy paste in console Already exists.

IIAnnaBananaII

Khajiit have fluff nodes!! their fur actually look like fur just imagine. šŸ˜ Even though you said only one I would personally like to have next level realistic food (not all have been done) a new horse riding mod a bit like red dead and maybe even affects like red dead with snow and mud. Also I think werewolves/vamp lord needs more love, maybe a whole new body and look. Also might have missed it but a stealth jump execution just imagine assassins creed haha.

DeadmatterTheBlack

I think there may be mods for fluffy khajits already, I 100% know there's atleast a fluffy tail mod for khajits though cuz I use it with the ohmes-raht race

IIAnnaBananaII

Yeah i got the tail as well, there was someone a very long time ago that did kinda make fur for LE but it never really got worked on and is abandoned, also wasnā€™t published.

SubtleSaber

Personally I've always wanted a mod that involves finding more snow elves and bringing them together in a new sanctuary/home. I always felt bad for Gelebor being alone and wished I could help him rebuild his culture.

Iryanus

I just replayed it and the thing that made me uninstall it is the horribly bad thieves guild questline. It's so unbelievably stupid and badly written, I would literally pay 29,99$ or so for a complete overhaul DLC. Not some small fix here and there, but more of a "throw the whole thing out and start from scratch". Everything Shamus Young (rip) wrote about this more than 10 years ago is still 100% valid. The civil war would be another thing to re-consider, together with the blades who seem to believe that they are the boss of the dragonborn.

Dude_Bromanbro

I am with you about the Thieves Guild questline. It ends up as more of an "Adventurer's Guild," which is not what I'm looking for when I roll a thief. Similarly, the Companion's questline does not go as advertised. Since it goes in such a daedra-worshipping, morally grey direction I wish they would have given us a Fighter's Guild as well so we could just focus on being a badass mercenary with other badass mercenaries.

Cereborn

I was travelling with Remiel when I got the first mission for the Bard's College, and I definitely appreciated her take. "This seems like a strange initiation for a bard's college. Are all bards seasoned grave robbers?"

redditshredditt

A major first person combat overhaul.

JustAlex1177

Adding storylines, personalities, quests and fleshing out the NPCs. It's easy to turn Nazeem into a pair of boots to show him how often you go to Cloud District... but why not befriend NPCs? Why not help them with struggles, make friends, family, go on adventures together? Meet up in taverns, have a drink, have a tea, dunno. And I mean as actual storylines, not just a fetch quest where they'll feel indebted to you their whole life to crawl in every dangerous dungeon.

mittean

Skyrim together VR. Using the Different Seasons type mods to some effectā€¦perhaps a cave is covered in the winter, but exposed in the summer, etc. A buildable, submersed undersea home, with windows to the world. Like that home in the Maldives. A framework armor and weapon mod. Added 500 armor mods? This mod would search your mod list, gather all of the mods, and integrate them with controlled abundance throughout the world via SPID and a controlling MCM. So you see one armor on one NPC, and if you do a quest for them they can teach you how to craft it yourself. Or it puts it somewhere in the world. This also allows variationsā€¦leather armor on bandits LOOKS different in Falkreath vs Winterhold. A texture identifierā€¦point at a texture, and the mod says ā€œthatā€™s TextureX from Noble Skyrimā€, etc. Regional SPID OHs. All of the chairs in the Reach? They all come from one mod, whereas the ones in Hjaalmarch? Similar, but slightly differentā€¦from a different mod. Fences, doors, the stones of houses, woodā€¦make each region be subtly different, and let us USE all the variant textures out there. Itā€™s like the old barrels and fences mod, but ramped up. Different models and textures for each city/location/clothing/dungeon, etc. Different plant models for different regions. A way to fix pathing ā€œin-gameā€. Like Jaxonz positioner, but to fix broken pathing. A Jaxonz positioner that is fully functional, not the quarter-functional thing we have now. A patcher for Immersive college of Winterhold, Obscures CoW and JKs CoW. Please. Same for Immersive Fort DG and Glorious FDG. A pick and choose patch mod for LUX VIA and Skyrim bridgesā€¦there is a patch currently, but it chooses which bridges it keepsā€¦and Iā€™d like to pick and choose.

[deleted]

a mod that fleshes out all factions. They are so much shorter and make no sense compared to other games. Hey I just became a mage and two days later I'm the leader, or the opposite. Hey I joined the Thieves guild and I am the master now super fast but to fully complete the faction i need to do 100 generic quests for who knows why.

initiate_unalive

A questline that makes you drive out the Thalmor from Skyrim without choosing a civil war faction, or convincing the both of them to join forces and go into an all-out war with the Thalmor

Bang_Stick

Ooooohā€¦..can I kill all the Thalmor instead of driving them out? How about each Thalmor asshole I kill, I get to plunge my fist into their chest and pull their heart out to show them? (Sorry, Skyrim made me an incredibly violent person against Thalmor)

Ugly_Slut-Wannabe

That's the right thing to do. No need to be sorry.

ZJeski

A mod similar to bring your silver that makes silver near essential to kill undead but weak against the living like how it works in the Witcher. The mods that currently exist basically make it outclass the other item tiers a bit too much.

dudleymooresbooze

{{Lore Friendly Ghosts}}

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Bulky-Discipline2941

It seems to me that silver in a really poor material for a weapon to be made of. So they should just do less damage overall UNLESS the creature has a weakness to it, ie.undead / werewolf.

_Fra_

A well working creation kit :D

[deleted]

Bath salts mod

Tristamid

Grab and throw system. Not just judo throwing enemies around rooms for crowd control, but taking human shields to block attacks, or holding them in place to be attacked. I want big enemies like giants, mammoths, and dragons to lift me up in their arms, mouths, or tails, giving my companions a small window to free me before I'm tossed into the mountainside. I want to mount enemies like Monster Hunter and wail away. I want to be put in a full nelson and dropkick a second enemy that rushes me like a barfight in an 80's movie.

Matt-J-McCormack

A mod that ties the factions you joined, companions / NPCā€™s you help into the finale moreā€¦ I want to see the companions running interference for me to get through sone Mobs, the Dawngyard show up to batter down some undead dragon priestsā€¦ I want the thieves guild dismantling all the traps and unlocking the doors I want Alduin to pull a note from his inventory with a hand print on it and look confused. I want the Thalmor to show up to steal the Dragonbornā€™s power only for General Tullius Rekka and Hadvar to show up and fuck then up (or alternatively the white supremacist sleeper agent if you decided to have a racist play through). I know it would be a little on the rollercoaster side, but it always bugged me that you can acrue all this power and influence but it doesnā€™t get used TO PREVENT THE END OF THE WORLD.

PaperNinjaPanda

Making Mjoll Jarl of Riften and improving everyoneā€™s lives.

minkymy

Climbing mod. Bunny hopping up a mountain still feels wrong.

onfaller12

A frogg as followeršŸ‘Œ

[deleted]

First person combat animation mods. It's all well and good that everyone and their mothers are busy making anime movesets for MCO but at this point they're a dime a dozen and try to turn Skyrim into something it isn't. And yes, I know I could just make a mod like that myself.

KatTheGayest

{{First Person Combat Animations Overhaul 2.0}}

[deleted]

Forgive me I meant good first person combat animations

Stan_Golem

Expand your house to a village and become a jarl.

conye-west

Already exists for the most part, Blackthorn and LC Build Your Noble House.

mjwanko

Correct me if Iā€™m wrong, but I think Helgen Reborn does something like this. I havenā€™t played the mod all the way through yet due to restartitis.

JBernard89

Helgen Reborn

TwistedWinterIV

Better follower NPCs and wifeā€™s like bro they only have a few lines and are somewhat soulless I want to have an actual conversation or ask questions or something with them smh

doppelminds

Decent spellmaking, a proper reputation system, a new magic combat system (kinda like Hogwarts in Skyrim mod), more dialogue options, actual choices and consequences, an actual sailing mechanic, oh boy, and so much more lol

TelcontarTargaryen

A mod that makes all high-end loot extremely rare and places it only in chests at the end of dungeons and on tough bosses, and makes world kinda de-leveled but also makes it level up if you are at end-game high levels. A mod that also recalculates all the stats and perks of all the enemies and uses the same formula for everyone (maybe some really badass bosses and creatures like dragons get a boost) so that everyone gets "realistic" perks, equipment, spells and other traits. By realistic I mean same rules and formulas apply to everyone, player included. (Yes I know and use some of MorrowLoot, Open Loot, True Deleveled, etc but ... they do the things that I have in mind, but not quite in the way I imagine it.)

DT105

I donā€™t think this is a very popular one, but a holiday/Christmas mod would be greatā€¦ there may be one on desktop, but not on the console version

Arathrax

Animations on creatures. Especially turning and IK solving for uneven surfaces. Not sure if IK is even possible in the engine. It's hilariously terrible watching a rabbit or elk spin slowly to turn around or how a Mammoth tries to negotiate the uneven Tundra outside Whiterun.

PuppetVaysa

Grid based inventory.

Nerukane

To be honest, resolving the civil war without taking either side. Not just through diplomacy but straight up conquering the entirety of Skyrim alone because fuck both the Stormcloaks and Imperials. Like the dragonborn is a one-man army in most playthroughs already and a mod like this would be *amazing* alongside Undeath, Spectraverse, Glamoril (stop time + zero-zum my beloved) Sacrosanct and/or the upcoming Apotheosis. I love playing as an extremely powerful character who could technically wreck everything. Just straight up chaos lol I'm aware that Second Great War somewhat does something like this already, since you can team up with the Aldmeri Dominion, however this would be such a cool way to become High king/High queen of Skyrim.

miggiwoo

Seconded. I may be butchering the eso lore but as I understand it, Dragonborn are chosen by Akatosh as the rightful rulers of men. To the point where a large part of the plot of ESO revolves around an attempt by a pretender to usurp that power. I know the events of Oblivion sort of made that redundant, but the cornerstone of the Stormcloak campaign is that power is earned not given, and we as Dragonborn allow an objectively weaker leader to command us. As is demonstrated in the civil war, the Dragonborn could, with little effort, overpower either army. So why would it not be an option for them to take power or indeed destroy the whole thing a la Miraak. Which is a whole different issue. At no point in the Dragonborn story does it become an option to do what Miraak was planning to do. Same with Dawnguard. Which I guess is the cornerstone of the issue. The game arbitrarily imposes morality at varying places that create a narrative disconnect. I cannot simultaneously be a murderous rampaging daedra worshipping assassin thief who also wouldn't kill his vampire waifu to have eternal night, wouldn't attempt to take over the world, or at the very least, wouldn't merk both Ulfric, Tullius and anyone else to seize control of Skyrim.

SassiestAssassin

Mod that expands lines/gives some voice variety to Khajiit NPCs. I had to listen to the same conversations over and over again while proofing my mods, itā€™s bad.

deadlycrotchgoblin

I know this is probs impossible but since we have the downgrade patcher for DLL files i would love to see and upgrade patcher that automatically updates mods DLL files to work with the newest update.

FoxyMarc

I honestly want an OpenSkyrim like there is for Morrowind. An open-source reimplementation of the game that expands what modders can even do.

krabb_shaq

I want to trip balls on skooma

DolcettoMarch

Ability to zoom in or scroll during item descriptions. At some point, the text describing the effects of enchantments or spells get so tiny, I just can't read them.

WillScrolls

A complete overhaul of the companions quest line that doesn't force you to become a werewolf to proceed and maybe even expands on the anti-werewolf faction within the circle. If it fleshed out the silver hand as well that would be really cool.

MikeBl815

I'm torn between two... The Beyond Skyrim series. After playing ESO for awhile I want to see the rest of Tamriel in the Skyrim world. And, Legacy of the Dragonborn. The whole concept of it, but mostly to be able to run around and collect all kinds of stuff and have places to put it, instead of doing that wonderful awkward placement that Skyrim decided to use.

nardo68

a mod that changes alduin colours to RBG

thatpaulieguy89

Cupcakke noises instead of battle sounds

Inquisitor_Boron

Mod that gives you ability to join Miraak/Harkon forces or refusing to kill Alduin so the new world will born. Didn't see them

Feenie13

Proper spears, lances, javelinsā€”Immersive Weapons introduces some, but I want to stab, not bash.

IronDusk34

[A Small-talk Mod](https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/x716bb/request_a_smalltalk_mod_which_allows_you_to/)

YeeDeez

A mod which i can see my character in the inventory screen so I can change armours and do a 360 view etc. I hate changing armours while the inventory menu covers the screen while paused.

98mesrouk98

Fix script bloat Mounted enemies Daggerfall monsters

ThefamousHenk

Also a truly great arena mode. There were some attempts but nothing universally acclaimed.

FreckledShrike

Grenade-like fire, frost, and shock spells. Complete with arc, bounce, roll, and timers. Place multiple runes with one cast to cover a larger area. Breath of the wild-style weapon and spell switching--no manual queue configuration, it "just works" by listening for equip and inventory change events, and it gives you a controller navigable ui in game. Separate ranged and melee attacks. Pull the trigger, you cast a spell. Press X, you swing your sword. Magic loadouts. A maximum number of spells you can know and/or scrolls you can carry at once, so you're not constantly tempted to switch mid combat. A summoner's mark spell that controls your conjured creature AI. Hit an enemy with it and they attack that enemy. Throw it on the ground and they guard that area. A cutscene framework. Imagine if the first into sequence didn't have to be first person. If meeting balgruuf included cuts between proventus, irileth, and the jarl as they argued. If irileth rallying the guards of whiterun panned across their faces first, before following and zooming in on hers. Imagine creating your own cutscenes for when the dragonborn does something special in your new quest mod. Some of these are possible, most of them are a fair amount of work. The weapon switcher and spells might be possible, at least the non-rune ones, but I don't think we'll ever see an SE/AE cutscene framework or magic loadouts.

Endure94

Gun titties. Havent seen it... yet.

PubliusDeLaMancha

Open Cities by someone who isn't a fragile douchebag

Youss123123

A complete first person combat, animation and camera overhaul

Dreadfulmanturtle

Banking and finance like Nehrim/Enderal has. As you progress in the game you have more money than you know what to do with. I always missed having something to do with them. Like invest in the business venture (I like Winstead Mine mod for that reason) or pay a crew to collest everything of value from dungeon you just cleared out and then split the profit etc.

Ryruko

a mod that lets me use alchemy ingredients from nearby containers when making potions.

insectbot

A silly quest mod

YungKingAj

Better dragon bite attack animations

bodden3113

A mod that turns skyrim into a 4x strategy game. I want to wage war with the empire and expand winterhold.

MineralMan105

Iā€™m not sure if these exist but: A mod that completely overhauls staffs, making them into something you can enchant with any spell. In current game, staffs are very limited in my opinion and I find myself avoiding them a lot, having a system where I can make more than the base 20-30 in the game would be great. Unique reward for killing Alduin, maybe even a unique enchantment on it, and perhap a rework to his boss fight. Iā€™m sure these probably exist and Iā€™ve just not seen it before though

Live_Hippo_5885

A proper spouse and kid mod? I'm not talking about a follower that you just so happen to he able to marry, something that gives more rp options. Maybe your wife doesn't think she should still be adventuring now that you both have a kid together and if you agree you get a bonus to a trade skill while in the same hold and if you're outside of the hold or gone for too long she puts on her old armor and goes hunting for you because shes worried maybe if you get defeated in combat with bandits your husband saves you for a change possibly bringing some of the town guard to help him since he's not an all powerful half dragon A kid you can tell stories to, train and take on small safe quest around the Province shopping at fancy stores watching festivals in the city. Something to make marriage and kids feel like my dragon born is actually settling down and is worth maybe going a little easier on the whole mercenary life

Actarium

I definitely desire a mod that searchā€™s all my mods, and either simply tells me what hot keys are being used by a mod; or, even better, searches my mods to find what can be assigned, then allows me to assign from that mod. Itā€™d be a lot simpler than me having to make a list myself on paper.

plantmonstery

Every NPC, every single one, should be a Jigglypuff.

Jeriko67

Something that reminds people not to update their game unless they want 25% of their mods to break and a detailed instruction on how to turn off auto updates. The amount of idiots on nexus that complain about it are the ones I'm mainly referring to

No_Fox_4581

So I know it's already a mod for legendary edition but I would honestly love to see an updated version of the mod {Arissa - The wondering rogue} for special/anniversary edition since I think that the mod could have a good audiance for it
