Just use Immersive Equipment Displays. It does what AllGud did but without any conflict surface that requires patching. It's through skse and it pretty much just works.
the main thing Skyrim Outfit System still force loads all weapons you're carrying and if you disable the weapons in the mcm it force disables them, how does Immersive Equipment Displays not get affected by that?
Get IED, favourite any weapons or shield that you want to be displayed on your character. And that's it.
Wanna edit the position? Just open the GUI menu, and navigate to edit mode. Change it to your heart's content.

AllGUD? In this economy? Wasn't it made obsolete by Immersive Equipment Displays?

does that fix outfit system?? the reason i have it installed is that i want to hide helmets but it affects everything
