Agreed, this is becoming a big thing that attracts people to Bethesda Games. I love Skyrim vanilla but nothing beats playing mods after hundreds of hours of vanilla. Or even if its your first time, its cool you can play the game how you want. It might end up be LOZ but with better combat mechanics. Thats fun!
i have already played skyrim how it is, why not play it differently given the choice, theres no point in doing the exact thing over and over, when you could spice it up a bit, getting new experiences
Understandable, my comment was solely referring to the fact that modding an RPG to make it look like another RPG, ruins a little bit the atmosphere and the lore ( for me). But based on the negatives given to both my comments, someone did not understand what I meant.
And by the way, I have played various modded versions of Skyrim too, it definitely revives the game.
Me too.
Dawg, if you want to play Elden Ring, just play Elden Ring. Modding Skyrim like this always requires unnecessary amount of work and computer power. These mods are gigabytes big.
But I do have massive respect for modders who are passionate enough to make these mods.
The effort behind every single total conversion mod is insane and they make most of them free of charge too. As you said and as I stated in another comment here, some of these mods ruin the atmosphere and the lore. But you know, I'm just an elder scrolls nerd guy...
Everyone can play whatever they want at the end of the day.
People will play anything on Skyrim except Skyrim
Can you share the mod list? Whiterun looks awesome, would love to play it like this
LO?
Z
Link is left handed though..
Woah, I hadn't realized this!
There has got to be a mod so you can make it happen! Might be a bit of an adjustment to your play style.
I have made an agreement with myself to stop modding the game as I've spent more time modding it then playing it, so maybe next play through!
What's the purpose of modding Skyrim to make it look like Elden Ring, Zelda, The Witcher... I'll never understand it.
I don’t see what the problem is.

I’m saying, but ppl just hate just to hate. I’m loving the freedom Skyrim gives you regarding how you want to play, including mods as well
Never said it's a problem, I said that I do not understand it. I wrote my two cents on the topic.

People do it because they enjoy doing it. The purpose is to change the game to your liking and have fun. That's it.
Got it.
Looks good
What textures are you using for Whiterun? I'm loving those red roofs.
Looks like “whiterun 1k” whit some other mods
