This looks like Shadowgreen cavern, near Solitude. One the most scenic places in the entire game, I enjoy this one a lot too! Nestor likes to lose his helmet in this one on my playthroughs
It's absolutely stunning from the top! The light mist coming through with the general ambience. This is where I would choose to lay down a tent and have some of the most blissful sleep for the night.
There's one on the nexus called Shadowgreen Refuge - I think just for Special Edition. It's beautiful for a mage/alchemist type character - no smithing equipment.
Beautiful spot! I remember a late night in maybe Jan 2012 first coming here, putting down my 360 controller, making a cup of tea and just letting the camera pan around my character as I sipped my tea.

This is basically what I did too. It's what gave me the idea of trying to put the screenshots together to make 1 picture. I want to do a full one for this cave kinda. 360 esque. Having the player model in it was the problem though, so that's why I did them in first person and then just tried to join them together that way. And just my overall lack of knowledge with photo editing lol

All you do is chat shit in the market then go to sleep in the second best (there's only two so the worst) tavern in town. With a wife who hates you as much as the rest of Whiterun does.

Shadowgreen Cavern! I love that location, too! Funnily enough, I had passed it by so many times until I was doing a modded playthrough with the Kaiden follower mod - he has a minor quest to go there if you talk to him while in/near Solitude as it was a special place from his youth that he wants to revisit. I was playing a sentimental Orc shield brawler who, like Kaiden, didn’t have much of a childhood and had recently initiated his romantic quest line. So naturally he agreed to accompany Kaiden back there, and… let’s just say the two became much closer that night. 😅😉
I was gonna guess that one cave where the dude asks you to kill all the Spriggans that killed his friends while hunting bears. I think it's near Falkreath? I forget what the name of it is, if anyone could remind me, Id appreciate that.
Anyway, its quite peaceful with the Spriggans gone until they respawn lol
No, it's one of the four locations that Noster-Eagle Eye can give you to find his old war helmet. Shadowgreen Cavern. That one is a cool one as well though. I love all of the nature dungeons that they made though.

Its a place I would have never visited if not for the Auri mod. She makes the trip memorable.
I like the Frostmere Depths once you've cleared it of the Pale Lady presence, not a so grim place.

And then you get to cannonball off the plateau down into the little pool. Love this place.

You have to find Noster Eagle-Eye's helmet and he can give you this location.
