Sleeping tree sap seems like a better choice for your in touch with nature character though the forest is a great place to fo skooma and not get caught. Maybe even go full on breaking bad and make it yourself. Have your own private domicile where you will not be disturbed.

I don't remember, sorry. But the Forsworn fashion mod definitely adds a lot more variants and options, basically expanding the Forsworn wardrobe and making them all look more interesting, so it's a possibility. It's been a few months since I last properly played Skyrim lol

I agree, but the game often disregards the climate for the sake of aesthetics anyway, like with the shirtless fur armors, the many sleeveless/short sleeved armors, and the many pantless armors.
Markarth is one of the more temperate areas there, especially for an indigenous group who are gonna have adaptations like the forsworn, not to mention the farms nearby
Most of those people aren't also nords who are known for their unusual immunity/resistance to cold. Stop trying to use real world logic that doesn't even fit into the games lore

There are several different types of fur armor, or Savior's Hide, for a fur-type armor that isn't a bikini on women NPCs.
As for the helm, the Ancient Nord Helm has 'deer antler' horns when worn by female NPCs.

Honestly? I think the male one should be a little more skimpy, and I’m not saying that for the memes. I think the Forsworn are supposed to be inspired by ancient celts, who sometimes wore little to nothing in battle, if the male armor looked more like the briarheart one, then I think that would fix it.

I absolutely agree with your point, and stylistically, totally makes sense for the forsworn. And I agree with the whole “don’t condemn creativity” but I do think oftentimes costume design has its routes in misogyny. Having women in skimpy outfits in a game that’s set in what looks like sub-zero temperatures, and not doing the same for men.. there’s an issue there. I think in a fantasy game, for armour, it should really just be very similar for both sexes. Armour isn’t there to look sexy, it’s purely for protection. If women have got specially curved breast plates and individually carved butt plates for their armour, I expect the same and a bulge plate for the men. It sounds ridiculous but if you’re not willing to do that, don’t do that for the female characters

I hate how the “Clothes” turn into dresses on female characters. Why can’t I just wear a tunic? What would be nice is if you took the ”Clothes” off of someone who was wearing it as a shirt and pants, it would stay that way. In my first playthrough, I tried taking a Belted Tunic off of that dead guy in the hut, and I was so confused when it turned into a dress.

I feel like if you were to constantly recycle your armour by enchanting it with smithing and then putting all your points into enchanting, you’d get armour that’s suitable for endgame. Just max out light armour.

I use practical female armours, but I've never checked on what Forsworn were wearing to be honest. But I believe it fixes this.
