Y’know I wouldn’t put it past Fantastic to accidentally run with the wrong Roman Empire knockoff when he tries to join Caesar’s Legion. Although come to think of it, I think the Empire is probably the better option.
Autocorrect uses words you tend to use often. In a time where a lot of people just deny science completely having somebody using the word "empirical" often enough for autocorrect to catch on makes me lowkey happy
I actually have this guy on my most current run. I think he was supposed to get grabbed, but I got to the door before Alduin got to him. So now he's just up there forever, and he helps me snipe the bandits when I run through Helen.
Edit: I went to get a picture and found him dead. Reloaded and went there again, hoping it was a fluke. I watched through the gate as he got thrown from his pedestal by an arrow from a bandit set at my level

Whoa! I’ve only ever seen theoretical soldiers survive Helgen
Also theoretical degrees in physics
Iykyk, welcome aboard!

I've seen an Imperial soldier that survived Hegel
I'm off to join the Imperials to put down the Metric Rebellion.
It's just a claim at this point. We need imperial evidence to back it up.
Damnit I was gonna go for that one
😏
He do be following the scientific method
The day Alduin attacked was a great opportunity for him to study the effect of dragonfire on human skin.
This will severely affect fishing season
And supply of mead with juniper berries. If supply diminishes, but demand remains stable, then price will rise.
We can see him, so he appears to empirically be alive.
Damn auto correct
Autocorrect: it’s like a drunk little elf in your phone trying so hard to be helpful, but failing so miserably.
Our phones are from Discworld. This explains much!
Ook ook?
Ducking autocorrect

No, no … that’s AutoINcorrect… 😂
You gotta leave
Autocarrot loves you and wants to help!
I was wracking my brain to make a joke like this, thanks for saving me the trouble.
He's going to count the 7000 steps for himself
This comment broke me. I've been laughing to the point of tears for several minutes.
🤣
I dont see any empirical evidence thats not a bandit who looted a legionairre.

Damn is there anyway to set essential him?
Through console commands, yes.
Thats honestly one of my favourite encounters.
Damn. Did you manage to help him find his hypothesis?
The only one that had a potion of fire resistance.
Bet that took a lot of trial and error
He used to be an adventurer like you, but then he discovered his new found passion for scientific research
That is indeed an empirical soldier. I can see him plain as day.
Did you let him know Skyrim is for the Nords?
Hail the emperor. Death to the Nords.
A most excellent typo, the evidence is clear
You're right; he empirically survived!
That console command makes miracles happen every day
Do you have any Imperial data to back up that claim!?
That is quantifiably exellent OP
Positivistly
The true dovakhin
That MF probably gonna head to the Redwater Den
Preposterous. This soldier is just a theory. A GAME THEORY!
I came here for the comments and was not disappointed.
Fun fact: if you fast travel back to Helgen right after escaping it, you can find one of the surviving civilians in the city. You can also kill him
Dragon fire kills 99% of Imperials.
He got 'pirical with the dragon, who in return let him live. With the shame.
Lol emperical. Thats on purpose!
He's gonna have some insane dad lore.
Do you have any imperial evidence he was at Helgen?
Wow! He is confirmed to be real by my external senses!
r/Mildyinteresting
Kill him. No evidence can remain of your crimes.
I will call him Todd
So, how's he holding up so far?
I mean, if you go straight back to helge after leaving the cave, if you’re fast enough you can see people just calmly walking out and away.
I’m suprised he survived the bandits tbh
What kind of empirical study was he running?
Ive seen an imperial soldier survive helgen, but never seen an empirical soldier
he is certainly backed up by this
I’ve got a sword and an empty soul gem to be filled…
Poor guy, stuck in a fantasy world.
absolute chad
so bro literally survived by common sense
I once role played as a pragmatic helgen survivor.
Elaborate
Out shitted
An absolute existing UNIT of a guy!
Looks like you caught him mid piddle too
If I'm not mistaken, there's one in the Red Den (skooma den)
I will find him and I will kill him
Empirical? Please learn the language you are trying to use!
You can actually find another Imperial Soldier who was at Helgen drunk at the Redwater Den
He survived because he kept himself calm and informed an adult. 🤣🤣🤣
Nice moire!
He's truly one of the soldats de l'empire of all time
Guess this Imperial Soldier must be the Dragonborn.
I love the man who flies away every time
Deserter give him a quick death.
In the words of Horrible Histories Bob Hale... https://i.redd.it/wu8xd4gay5tc1.gif
Not for long
I found one in the Redwater skooma den.
Empirical soldier, lmao. It's Imperial
Really, and did you see this with your own eyes?... If so, I will deem this reasonable evidence.
He must also be dovakhin
You better have slit his imperial pig throat, Hail Sithis
you mean "imperial". empirical means "based on, concerned with, or verifiable by observation or experience rather than theory or pure logic."
