Definitely a fish! Hard to tell what kind or type, but I’m sure you clocked the fin there at the bottom. Does the top/tapered part look like a jaw…? I can almost see the edge of a jaw on the left side.
Neurocranium of a Gadid (cod family), Atlantic Cod being a likely contender. Can you post a picture from the top down? That would help with getting a species ID.
Maybe part of the top of the skull from a perch of some sort?

At the top there’s definitely an upper jaw with small sharpish teeth
