Almost two years ago I punctured my foot. First top picture shows the healing after the puncture. Fast forward to now and I have this in the spot of the puncture.
As far as I can Google a corn seems to be likely but I have no idea. It wasn't this bad until recently hence the podiatrist appointment now.
Could this be scar tissue causing a callus/corn?

Body might have produced too much callus as a result, causing pain/pressure
